Best pizza ever!! My son, due to his illness, can't eat the food that he used to. We went back to Mod Pizza, and to our surprise, they had gluten-free, dairy, and other ingredients that my son could eat. He didn't get sick, and this was probably the happiest that we've seen him for over a year
Trying to find good pizza in Fort Collins has been nothing short of a compromise, until my family and I tried JJ's Wood Fired Pizza. The pizza was excellent...a Portnoy 7-8.0 for sure! Plus, being gluten sensitive...I had no issues!!!! Matt at the bar was customer service at its best! The Margherita Pizza and a beer was a great deal>>>I ate the entire 12" with added libations>>>no bloating or suffering; thus quality ingredients coupled with exceeded expectations in taste and crust solidity. Going forward, JJ's is our new staple in enjoying good pizza!
The gluten-free pizza was so good! While they can't guarantee no cross contamination, I'm very sensitive and had no issues.
They seemed to be short staffed the afternoon we went, with tables staying dirty and slow service. It was my first time there, so it may be a one-off.
I ordered a GF crust Meat Eaters with added Feta, and Oh My Word! It was beyond delicious!!! I have never had a GF pizza that was this delicious. I definitely recommend Cozzola's for my Gluten-Free people. AMAZING!
The pizza is thin crust and tasty at KK's but my favorite thing is the servers. They seem like they are having a good time. We love to sit in Alison's section when she is working. Decent salads and plenty of beer. But try the pizza. So cheesy - We like NOB (North of the Border) and The Krazy Hawaiian. Gluten free options, too.
Delicious, fresh, homemade flatbread piadina sandwiches! There's a good variety of choices with vegan and gluten free options. True taste of Italy in Colorado.
Great little hole in the wall type spot! The staff was great. Service was quick despite the place being packed. Gluten free crust available. Sometimes they even have live music! Casual, fun, pretty good pizza.
We usually love BJ’s for their food, service and gluten free options for my wife who has a gluten allergy, this visit was a exception, however, service was slow, it took forever for our food to come out, my wife’s meal came out and luckily we questioned the bun on her sandwich as it was ordered gluten free and was supposed to be gluten free and it was not, if my wife would have eaten it she would have been sick for the night, by the time her food finally was redone and brought to the table I was done with my meal, we never saw a manager anytime during the entire visit, they usually do a very good job but this experience was very disappointing
After posting this I was contacted by someone from the corporate office that was very apologetic and concerned about what we experienced. He wanted all of the details of the visit and assured us he would follow up on this situation. Since this was isolated and they showed concern we will be visiting again as we have always loved it there prior to this visit.
Update, after posting the review and talking to the director of operations I am totally satisfied with their concern and assurance of follow up on this situation, like I said this was a isolated experience here and will definitely return, I was reassuring to see their concern and follow up
It’s nice to have a pizzeria that offers gluten free pizza. Every pizza we’ve had has been great! GF or otherwise. Warning: kids from the local school descend here when school is in, over noon hour, so it’s super busy then. Pay over the phone for quicker pickup.
Real NY style pizza is hard to find out here west of the Pecos, and I'm one of those boomer food snobs. [I cooked in upscale restaurants when I was young]. Amazingly, I was really impressed. Excellent thin crust with high gluten flour. A+ on that. Just mozzarella and pepperoni, but good quality. Very little sauce, I would have liked enough to taste it. Served piping hot, a rare thing. Pizza overall 8+. But what a deal! During happy hour (2:30 to 5:30), I had 2 slices of pepperoni and a nice craft beer, all for $9! (Tivoli lager is $2/pint during happy hour). I doubt there is anywhere else in Old town with a deal this good. One note, we went around the block two times trying to find it. Problem is the sign is small, freestyle, and I couldn't read it, even from 10 feet away. The ambience is basic, I would have liked a couple of aging mafiosi lurking in the corners. They need a big sign with red letters saying "Hot NY Mafia Style Pizza!" I highly recommend this college vibe hole in the wall.
Enjoyed the pizza and great value. I wish I had cooked my gluten-free crust on a metal pizza pan instead of the paper though, because the crust was softer in the middle. Definitely coming back for more!
