We tried Favazza’s around 1:30 p.m., so it wasn’t busy at all. Overall, it was just okay—an expensive, average experience. We started with the toasted ravioli, which was actually pretty good, nice, and crispy with a flavorful filling. For entrées, we had the manicotti, the pasta con broccoli with pink sauce, and the gluten-free shrimp with pasta, plus a dinner salad. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional, especially for the price.
We sat on the patio, which was unfortunately extremely loud—even with few people around, the noise echoed and made conversation difficult. Service was a real disappointment. Our waitress was not attentive and kept disappearing for long stretches, leaving us waiting for refills and check-ins.
In the end, it felt like we paid more than the quality and experience justified.
Their vegan gluten free pizza with the cashew cheese is incredible - and that is a touch feat because you are working without pretty much all the main ingredients in pizza!
I have been eating on The Hill since I was a kid. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in my 20's. Thankfully, I am still able to grab a bite at Rigazzi's! They offer a GF pizza crust, as well as garlic bread. The food has always been delish! I have gotten contaminated a handful of times while eating there, but unfortunately I am taking that risk knowing that they do NOT have a dedicated GF cooking area. My husband ans my BIL love the fishbowls!!
Gluten free pizza & antipasto salad..our taste buds were in heaven. So glad we stumbled across this one. The salad was loaded with a huge variety of fresh ingredients.
A couple of months ago, I had some out of town visitors, and I wanted to treat them to something typically St Louis. I planned to take them to Imo's, but Imo didn't have any gluten free options so we wound up at JJ Twig's just down the street instead. A great choice. Yesterday I wanted to treat myself to an early Father's Day, so I ordered a Double Decker Meat Me In St Louis, a carnivore's dream. The only thing it doesn't have is some Gioia's Hot Salami (but you can get that on a different pizza). Order ahead - artisanal quality takes time.
We recently had our wedding reception dinner here. Tim and his staff were attentive, considerate, and accommodating to our gluten-free guests. Our group sat in the arcade, which received a lot of compliments from our guests. When we arrived, pre-ordered food was ready. Tim communicated the entire way. The food was excellent! We will definitely be coming back soon for dinner.
Placed a large catering order here a day beforehand. They were extremely helpful while placing the order and during pickup. Options for vegan and gluten-free pizzas were great and well received by my group. Will definitely be ordering again.
I just tried the Soft Sammy gluten free bread from the bread lab, and it was so good that I was eating it plain, something I've NEVER done with gluten free bread. It didn't have that weird "gluten free" taste that a lot of bread loaves have. I had it with grilled cheese, toast, and just plain and I loved every way of eating it so far! I will definitely be ordering again.

The service was excellent. My order was correct and ready. I ordered gluten free pizza. I didn't know that they sell them in small size so I had to get two. They assisted me with a coupon. I was really surprised and impressed. I recommend this Domino's.
Best burger in Saint Louis. Duffys is a local restaurant that we go to several times each week. Besides their burgers, it has some of the best Chili. I also love salads and they have a great selection of salads (good variation of lettuce) with homemade dressing that everyone loves. Some of my relatives are gluten free and this restaurant has one of the best gluten free pizza's as well as other "low carb" and "bread free" options. I have met the owners, Mike and Katie Duffy, and both are wonderful people.
We got pizza from here twice the week we were in St Louis. I would definitely recommend ordering for pick up. My parents waited seemingly forever for their gluten free pizza when we ordered in person the first time. We got our vegan pizza after 30-45 minutes and they waited at least another 30 minutes and they ordered right after us. The second time we ordered together online and that was hassle free and a much better experience. The pizza was amazing both times!
We have eaten here a few times, we live close by. The food and atmosphere are great! It's a little higher prices but always good. They don't offer gluten free pasta so I had the risotto, it was yummy!! They also have gluten free pizza that I have had and was happy with. The risotto was butternut squash, spinach and mushroom, very good! My fiancé had penne with shrimp and chicken, he said it was good too. I always enjoy my dinners here!
I am obsessed! I am new to STL and am so glad that someone recommended Imo’s! The pizza is delicious: a sauce I dream about, lots of toppings and the cheese is so yummy! Not to mention they make a great cauliflower crust for my fellow gluten free folks!
When someone orders a gluten free pizza that’s what they want. Some of us have intolerances. Don’t charge extra for it and then give people normal crust. If you’re out of it you’re out of it. There’s an obvious texture difference between the two.
