I brought my visiting family here, half of whom are GF (myself included). Like everyone says, all the food is really good here! No compromises just because it’s gluten free. But what I’m really thankful for is the reservation ease. I couldn’t find the group size I needed on OpenTable, so I called and got a person immediately. Needed to call two more times to change the reservation to add someone / change time, and again to confirm they could accommodate a wheelchair 😂 I felt so high maintenance and they were SUPER nice about it. For that alone, 5 stars. Will definitely bring other people here because it’s, to me, in a “classic NYC” neighborhood and gives classy vibes for reasonable price point.

So accommodating. We called ahead of time for our special requests for food allergies and accessibility items. They provided a plan for us during that call and we're ready. They helped get us in seated with all accessibility items. No judgment. Inviting and welcoming for our group. Fed within a reasonable time with absolutely delicious food. I had high hopes after seeing the reviews and the gluten-free options. The owner and staff were surprisingly hostile to our party as first timers, commenting directly to us (and others) throughout the meal about how absurd it was that we did not have cash on hand for payment. Very bizarre, and something I’ve never experienced before. The gluten-free pizza tasted worse than a Domino’s pizza, and was twice the cost ($25). I can’t recommend much about this venue.

After three attempts over the years finally made it to try the keto options. The first was so good that my partner and I came back again. Highly recommended for those on a keto diet who also need gluten-free food. We had the meat lovers and the pepperoni. The mozzarella salad was great too.

The staff is awesome. They created an ENTIRE gluten free menu of all stores of goodies! They cook the gf separately from the gluten foods. I have never been to a pizza place with as many options for us gf sensitive and celiac people. The guys who work the day shift are super sweet. They always remember me and my friend and my service dog who come to eat. They are awesome. The food is delicious. I have the gluten free mozzerwlla sticks and the Mac and cheese with crispy chicken on it. Both are made devinely. I have not had Mac and cheese with crispy chicken on it ever in my life after I got diagnosed with celiac so it is such a treat. The menu is very thoughtful and contains all the ingredients on it. So if you are allergic to anything else you can see what is there. This is not a fully gluten free establishment. I know they guys in the daytime are super careful. I cannot report on the evening folks because I am only here in the day time. I have not had any flare ups when coming here. So I am sure the day time is very careful to not cross contaminate. The Mac and cheese is super cheesy and has 3 different kinds of cheese. They have gluten free meatballs, pasta, pies, califlower rice, gluten free burger buns, gluten free breakfast and gluten free dessert and appetizers all gluten free. I cannot say enough good things about having reliable, friendly and safe place to eat in the neighborhood that is not expensive. It's delightful. Bring all your gluten phobic homies.

Delicious pizza and the restaurant had a nice vibe. We ordered a gluten free pizza with several toppings - it was fresh, hot, and prepared perfectly. It was Saturday night and most tables were full, but they still has some open tables for us. Very fun and satisfying evening at Uncle Paul’s.

Melanie was our server and was awesome. She was very attentive and very accommodating for my mom who has celiac disease. My mom always gets nervous ordering at places but Melanie made it a point to make sure she was as comfortable as possible and had nothing to worry about. I used to love this place, but I feel they shouldn’t advertise having gluten free pizza options if they will always be out before the day starts out and don’t try to have enough dough left for people. If you are gluten free, its best to avoid unless you wish on a genie to get lucky.

My daughter has celiac and this is one of the rare places that we have felt safe to take her out to eat. They have the ability to substitute almost half the menu to GF and the pasta was some of the best GF pasta I have had! As long as you communicate clearly the need to dishes to be GF this place is great!
