We discovered this restaurant through the DZG (German Celiac Society) website. Eating out with a child with celiac disease is unfortunately a huge challenge... But there's something for everyone here!
They have a fantastic selection of dishes, and many are gluten-free.
If you have any questions, the chef or the wait staff are immediately available to answer any questions.
We really felt very well looked after.
The portions are generous enough for a big appetite. And luckily, they also offer gluten-free ice cream for dessert. We will definitely be back! It's worth the extra drive.
We really thank the team for their dedication. :)
The cheesecake is simply delicious – creamy, fresh, and absolutely enormous! And the best part: it's even gluten-free, which was a wonderful surprise. The service was very friendly and helpful, and you immediately feel welcome. Add to that the stunning view – all in all, a perfect place for a little escape. We'll definitely be back!
Gluten-free pizza of your choice is available for a surcharge, nice place and staff, fast service.
Pizza was tasty, although there could be a bit more seafood on it :).
In any case, I'd love to come back!
We were warmly welcomed with 4 adults and our two children. The children are 10 and 11 and were warmly welcomed and just as warmly served and looked after the whole time.
Since one of our children suffers from celiac disease, we had already mentioned this when making the reservation. That was also completely unproblematic, there was a gluten-free breaded schnitzel for our daughter and she was very enthusiastic.
Overall our visit was really nice. The staff are warm and cheerful and will make you have a great time. The food is high quality and really tasty.
The location itself is cozy and visually really appealing. It wasn't too loud and you could have a great time here.
Thank you very much for the great evening, we would love to come back! All the best to the entire team 🫶🏻🍀
I was here today with my son Leif, on a motorcycle tour from Dithmarschen to Dagebüll.
I have a gluten allergy.
They have all kinds of gluten-free burgers here.
Highly recommended and delicious. The buns for the hamburgers are prepared and baked in-house.
I've never seen or experienced anything like this in all the decades I've had this allergy/intolerance.
It was a real treat, a real treat!!
I'll be back!!!
Thank you so much for thinking of us.
Best, Harald Mahn
Celiac disease? - Taken seriously here and no problem. Delicious steak, baked potato and oil and vinegar brought to the table to make your own. Very nice service.
Unfortunately, the menu stored here is no longer current. In particular, unfortunately there is no longer any gluten-free pizza here! Really looks disappointing...
A special dining experience with great service. Our skewers were amazing, and the gluten-free stick bread for our child was something truly special. Thank you, especially to the wonderfully friendly service staff. We'd love to come back.
Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience with our visit this time. Unfortunately, the taste of the salad was not convincing - next to the salad there were also wobbly mushrooms and perhaps some taste problems. Canned champions were there, which overall didn't seem very appetizing. The consistency of the meat was also rather tough and didn't seem fresh. The portion of the salad was also quite small and was reminiscent of packaged goods and not washed. The fact that it wasn't tasty was accepted without a word.
Another point that is important to us: My one daughter eats gluten-free - unfortunately there was no alternative such as gluten-free pasta. In this day and age, we would have liked to have been more considerate of intolerances.
In addition, another dish with extra sauce was ordered, which was unfortunately ignored. When asked, this was not discussed further, which was a shame. Unfortunately, my daughter couldn't enjoy the food.
Overall, it was an expensive visit and unfortunately we left hungry. We hope that something will change in terms of quality and service in the future, because the atmosphere is actually very nice - the potential is definitely there.
Excellent food, first class service and great ambience. Large selection of food and drinks. Allergens are clearly labeled. Gluten-free meals are possible by prior arrangement by telephone.
Since I come from the restaurant industry myself, it shocks me even more.
I fully understand that when tables are reserved, they don't get filled – but!
I find it outrageous that the only restaurant that serves gluten-free dishes, and that I can visit despite my celiac disease, treats its guests like this.
In the restaurant, we were told that unfortunately, there was no room left (we noticed her looking at the free table).
Unfortunately, there was nothing we could do, so my pregnant wife, and my three-year-old had to leave the restaurant.
15 seconds after us, three girls arrived (one more person), who also didn't have a reservation, but were seated immediately. They announced at the door that the place looked very full and they certainly wouldn't be able to get a seat.
That was the last time I visited the restaurant.
Went for dinner with the whole family.
Every special request, no matter how small, was taken into account.
It's also a dream for people who have to eat gluten-free, as there are a lot of gluten-free dishes and many of the burgers can also be made gluten-free.
In addition, very competent, attentive and friendly service.
Absolute recommendation!
Everything was delicious and the employee took great care to ensure that it was prepared gluten-free when ordering a gluten-free sub. It was explained which dressings contain gluten and another sub was not heated together with the gluten-free one.
And overall, it is positive to note that there are gluten-free subs at all; they are not available in Berlin central station.
It was my first time ever going to Subway because I eat vegan and gluten-free and it's very difficult to get anything to eat in the city. One employee didn't know his way around very well. I would have preferred him to say he wasn't 100% sure, rather than me eating the wrong thing and then missing work for the rest of the day. However, people who cannot tolerate gluten should always be aware of the risk and leave it in doubt. Luckily there was an employee there who knew her stuff very well and patiently and kindly explained to me what I could eat. The manager was also really nice and helpful. Many stores don't even bother to look at vegan and gluten-free options. That's why it's something special for me. Since it was my first time ever, I first had to understand how the system works. Next time I come, I'll make less of a fuss. I promise :) Thank you in any case, you made my day today and I will recommend you to others.
Excellent restaurant
Much of it is organic
Any intolerances will be taken into account
Vegan + gluten-free possible
1a operation and service
The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Lugacci restaurant. My experience was disappointing, and the way I dealt with criticism left a lot to be desired.
First of all, factual, politely worded 3-star reviews that are true are apparently deleted. Customers who express legitimate criticism are even blocked. Such behavior does not indicate a customer-friendly restaurant.
Another big drawback is the price for gluten-free pizza dough: a whopping €9.50 surcharge! (Online even €9.70) A fair price would be around €3-4, but almost €10 extra for the dough is simply excessive.
The pizza itself? Totally normal, nothing special. The taste is okay, but not exceptional – and certainly not worth the high price.
However, the service should be highlighted positively - it deserves 5 stars! The staff was very attentive, friendly and tried hard. The waitress even pointed out the increased surcharge to us on site, which we found very fair. Unfortunately, the good service cannot make up for the other negative aspects.
If you're looking for good food at fair prices and a restaurant that handles criticism professionally, you should look elsewhere.
I would give it more like 3.5 stars if possible. There were some staff who couldn't answer many questions about gluten, for example, and requests such as getting the fried potatoes without bacon could unfortunately not be fulfilled. So the kitchen lacks a bit of flexibility. Most of the food was quite tasty. The side salad is a bit old-fashioned with the quarter tomato, the canned carrot strips etc.. you can do it once, but it wouldn't entice us a second time.
Very pleasant atmosphere and attention and delicious food. They have numerous vegetarian and vegan options and a couple of gluten-free meat and fish dishes.
Just have to get used to the fact that smoking is allowed, it spoils the atmosphere a bit for me. Nice that they have gluten-free, and good service, cozy side street to pedestrian street.
There were positive things and negative things about the food, I got a pasta dish with extra strips of meat which was a steak that was nicely fried, delicious, but the wife and daughter's pasta dish was a bit sad, overcooked. Would definitely like to come another time though
We visited the restaurant and were very impressed with both the food and the service! Highly recommended for seafood! Many dishes are also available in gluten-free versions.

We've been to brunch twice now and were absolutely thrilled both times. The dishes are all really excellent and the selection is really great. The homemade roasts and the homemade bread and rolls are also particularly delicious. Even people with celiac disease can easily come to brunch here.
The service is extremely friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
What a cute and quaint cafe. Very lovingly decorated inside. It certainly wasn't easy with all the German monument protection requirements. You can get delicious warm meals here. But the cake is awesome. All cakes are baked by the owner herself. And you can just taste it. Sometimes gluten-free etc. Large pieces and the price is reasonable. It is becoming increasingly rare to find such a piece of jewelry. Delicious cocoa and sometimes an honest coffee not from the machine
We stayed at this hotel for three nights and enjoyed it from the first minute.
The rooms are very nice (superior in our case) and have everything you need.
The wellness area is great and the treatments are great in a well-kept atmosphere.
But the absolute highlight is the food.
Even the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The buffet has everything your heart desires. Really good coffee in various preparations including soy or oat milk - very tasty.
Gluten-free baked goods are also available.
The evening menu can't be topped.
We actually only wanted to go there once
Eating at the hotel, but then “stuck” there. You just have to try as much as possible.
Next time with half board, because there is hardly a better taste experience!
Last but not least, the consistently friendly staff.
So just TOP!!!
The food was delicious (but nothing really “special”), the ambience was great (a bit noisy when it was full => sound-absorbing panels would help a bit), but the service was sometimes unreasonable:
We ate there several times because we initially thought it had been a bad day. But people shouting at us because we calmly complained at a meal that we weren't given tofu but chicken, or that (on another visit) the completely wrong dish was brought, is simply not acceptable.
After my friend, who cannot eat gluten, had a complete stomach ache after eating yesterday, even though she had ordered a dish that, according to the allergens listed, did not contain gluten, this was our last visit. We are happy that there are now many other good Asian options in Lübeck! :)
Very nice restaurant with very tasty food and super friendly staff, a cute dog lay down next to our table, probably belongs to the house. There are even gluten-free alternatives for people who eat gluten-free.
We were invited to a wedding. The service was very attentive, the food was very good.
The employees were able to help with questions regarding celiac disease.
We went to Seeprinz for brunch with our family for the second time, and once again we were thrilled. The selection, service, ambiance, and friendly, attentive staff: Plenty of everything, and everything was top-notch.
Even our request for gluten-free rolls was easily accommodated.
In conclusion: Once again, the trip from Hamburg was absolutely worth it. We'd love to come back.
Best restaurant in St. Peter and the surrounding area. Top service, very friendly and an extensive menu. The fish dishes are highly recommended. Guaranteed gluten-free dishes are also on offer.
