Delicious food, good service, and a very relaxed atmosphere. It was a pleasure eating at Salamat Clot. We ordered an Italian Milanese, which we absolutely loved! A large, tasty portion, and completely gluten-free! Well, everything is gluten-free! The prices are generally reasonable. Only a couple of starters are a bit pricey. I have no complaints! Would I go back? Yes! I recommend Salamat Clot to anyone with gluten intolerance!

I read a recently published review, and it bothered me about my part. A woman who claims to be an asymptomatic celiac sufferer comments that she disagrees with the establishment's methods regarding protocols to avoid cross-contamination and goes on to say that celiac customers of this restaurant "live in ignorance and take the easy way out." Here, by way of allusion, I want to respond that I have been a celiac customer of this establishment for many years, that I do suffer from severe symptoms when I eat any food containing gluten, and that I have never had any problems at this restaurant. I would like to add that the gluten-free pizzas are the best I've ever had, and that they also have a large selection of delicious gluten-free desserts. I think I speak for all the celiac customers of this establishment when I say that we will continue "living in our ignorance" and enjoying the products and services offered by this restaurant. We don't understand the score it has, it's a 10/10 for us. Food 10, service 10, atmosphere 10. Dogs can enter, they have gluten-free options, the place is good, the service is very very good, especially the girl with blue hair who has been a sweetheart and has advised us on things. We are here spending the weekend and we will return to have a snack and tomorrow for breakfast again 😊 highly recommended!

A disappointing experience from start to finish. From our arrival, the service was slow and disorganized: it took them forever to take our order and between courses the wait was exasperating, to the point that we had to remind them several times that we were still there. The worst was the irresponsible handling of the gluten issue. We asked for gluten-free options and they assured us that there would be no problem, but after trying the dish, we realized – due to taste, texture and subsequent discomfort – that it was clearly not suitable. When complaining, they only offered vague apologies and excused themselves by saying that “it happened to them.” In short, a place that does not respect its customers or their dietary needs. Neither for the food, nor for the service, nor for the seriousness would we return. Absolutely NOT recommended

First time in Barcelona, found this cafe while looking for potatoes and gluten free dishes. Tried their baked potatoes and they were delicious. The vegan homemade sauce was a treat to experience. They have big variety of gluten free cakes and gluten free dishes. The staff was super friendly and positive. Highly recommend. 🙂

I am celiac and there is quite a variety of options on the menu, and, as a warning, they prepare everything separately so that there is no cross contamination. It was all good and we loved it, if we return we would definitely repeat.

I have had the best potatoes here. The 3 sauces are delicious and the potatoes are spectacular. In addition to several very good dishes such as rissotto, stew or lentil burger, the crepes and desserts stand out. Super recommended. They also have optional gluten-free bread. In general, everything I have tried has always been delicious and made with great care. The place is very pleasant and different, it invites you to stay.

After 40 minutes of ordering, we were told they were preparing breakfast (two sandwiches and a crepe). They brought us a sandwich with almost no fresh cheese (after we complained, they told us they had no more). The gluten-free bread sandwich was frozen inside. I'm sincerely disappointed with this Mataró establishment; it's not what it was a few years ago.

We have left delighted. The food was very good, they have gluten-free options, the gluten-free bread costs €1 extra but it is the best I have ever tried. As a starter we ordered the Guarrindongas potatoes and for hamburgers I ordered the Papafritas and my partner the Milonga, all incredible. For dessert, a Cheesecake that you can also order gluten-free. We will return without a doubt.

Cute little restaurant. BIG FLAVOR. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free. Waiter said there's only 2 things on the menu with gluten, but we couldn't find anywhere that it said which 2 things it was. Later on when I clicked on a dish (menu is online) the allergens were all listed there in picture form...not the clearest, but it got the job done once we figured it out. Our dishes were all amazing! My mom is celiac and I'm gluten free and we both enjoyed our meals very much. Our server spoke and understood English well, was very kind, and attentive. Our meals were so big that we all took some back with us...even my big eater husband!

We had lunch at this place on the last day of our vacation. We were walking in the Gothic Quarter and scrolling through Google Maps I first checked that it was possible to order gluten-free dishes and then looked at some photos. The offer seemed interesting to us and so around 12:50 we went in. We were given a menu that however listed few dishes and the gluten-free ones were only sweet (pancakes and waffles). I asked if we could have a gluten-free savory alternative and the only thing that was offered to me was a handful of rocket with salmon and feta accompanied by 4 gluten-free pancakes. Almost at the end of our lunch we see that at the other tables they start serving pokè and other types of sandwiches, pasta and toast not on the menu. When we asked why we were rudely told that we had asked for the brunch menu when we entered (which was not true considering that I did not know they did brunch and above all because we found the menu on the table) then to justify themselves by saying that brunch was until 1:30 pm (which they did not warn us about claiming that it was written outside) and then with the change of time they moved on to lunch. Leaving aside the lack of flexibility given the time of our entry as well as the lack of "business sense" considering that I explicitly asked several times for gluten-free savory dishes, present on the lunch menu, I add that when we left we read that brunch was until 1:00 pm which therefore ended 10 minutes after our arrival, information that can then be verified also on their website, therefore they simply made a mistake and could have apologized. Best to make a reservation! Lots of people! (For the people there, once inside you couldn't really notice the noise or the feeling of being crowded) Incredible restaurant. I love how it's decorated, with very good taste. 👍 From the outside it looks small, but inside it's large. It has a terrace, and a covered terrace that, with the heaters on, feels luxurious. 👍 The food is very good, although the dishes are a bit small for the price. The desserts are also delicious, and they're on the larger side. 😅 They also have little things for celiacs, like bread, which many places don't take into account. 👍 Fast service, very friendly and attentive at all times. 👍 On one downside, parking is difficult, and the available parking is in a blue zone. We'll definitely return, but to celebrate something special. 🥂 A nice, cozy, beautiful, and quiet place to surprise and feel at ease. 🥂👍 We ordered small plates to share: 2 waters, 2 Coca-Colas, 1 wine, and 4 desserts. 170 euros or so. 5 adults and one child.

The sangria (white and red) is FANTASTIC! Great little bar, our waiter Marc was wonderful and very accommodating. We were thrilled to find gluten and dairy free options on the menu, it’s usually hard to accommodate a large group with mixed dietaries. The square is lovely, and on a Friday it had a great buzz!
