We love Manna! They carry a wide variety, from supplements and self care/beauty products to grocery and pet food. I appreciate the many gluten free products available. They also have in stock local products, such as seasonal produce.

A newly opened, artsy spot with a cool design that's a bit on the loud side, but has a great vibe and a few greasy pizzas.

This place is amazing. The pizzas all come in one personal pizza size. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is my favorite! Idk if the ranch is home made or not but its also really good. They have a gluten free crust too.

I have to eat gluten free, so it is very difficult to find a place that has good gluten free options. I ordered the BBQ and potato cakes. It was very nicely played and tasted fabulous! Will definitely be back.

Friendly service, above-average food. Several gluten-free options. Nice atmosphere. Not too fancy and less noisy than many Tuscaloosa restaurants.

Very accommodating of my gluten allergy. Friendly staff. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals of salmon and filet mignon. And the creme brulee dessert was very yummy.

I was excited to try Sugo with friends for what would have been my late husband Louās 70th birthday. Lou was my Sicilian chef, so I knew what to look for. He also had to be gluten free - a tough ride for a Sicilian! I ordered the eggplant Parmesan with GF pasta and definitely recommend it. My friends had the chicken parm w the fresh homemade pasta. The eggplant is better. My friends did say the fresh regular pasta was amazing. Sauces were authentic w San Marzano tomatoes and a little kick. The wait staff were gracious- just harried because itās a new restaurant. Christian was THE BEST. He was so kind and took time to chat with everyone. Itās just so stressful to open an authentic Italian restaurant when many people are more interested in Americanized Italian cuisine. For example, one of my friends asked why we had to pay for an order of bread and olive oil (rather than aka Olive Garden). The bread and garlic and olive oil were awesome at Sugo, BTW. A few friendly suggestions as Sugo gets their feet: 1) Offer fresh ground Parmesan/Romano and fresh ground pepper to everyone. 2) Consider the bread thing, but pepper and cheese come first. 3) Also fix the coffee machine. My cocktail was ok but there is a better one I did not order (sunrise?). Do NOT leave without dessert: pistachio caramel cake with peach garnish. Enough for two and the best part of the meal. I loved it! Just growing pains for Sugo right now. Thanks for making my late husbandās 70th birthday celebration special. I look forward to coming back!

Cozy up to a wonderfully comfy window bench seat and take in the view of passersby while the owner of this establishment warms you up with her friendly demeanor & smile mailing you feel.like you're a guest in her home. Meanwhile, your veganish vittles are being artfully composed in the kitchen using some surprisingly vegan ingredients. The owner has really done her homework on the best dairy, gluten & meat free options while still offering a few meats for those who aren't ready for the plant based plunge! I don't know how she uses such high quality ingredients for the prices she charges. P.S. Whatever you do, don't order the Strawberry Smoothie. It's the yummiest I have EVER and I don't want you to order them all !

My fiance and I went to Surin for dinner for the first time yesterday and I was more than pleased with how great the staff and food was. I have SEVERE celiac disease and finding gluten free food at a restaurant where I dont have to worry about cross contamination is brutal. I had called all over Tuscaloosa looking for a sushi place that would be able to make a basic sushi roll gluten free and most places didnt even know what gluten free meant. I called Surin and the bartender answered the phone, immediately I knew I could trust their staff. He informed me that gloves, knives and sushi mats would be changed, stations washed down and plastic wrap would be put over the mats for extra precaution. He clearly knew what he was taking about when it came to gluten free food prep. When we got there the sushi chef, Reid, let us watch him make all my sushi and he was more than thorough cleaning his equipment. The sushi was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. I ordered two separate times during our dinner and both times he completely started from scratch with all his utensils and gloves. He told us he has been working at Surin for about 8 years and he knows how crucial it is to make sure food allergies are taken seriously. We will absolutely be back, and I can not thank the staff (especially Reid!) for being so accommodating and awesome!
