Not bad option for Gluten Free casual dining. The GF beer is amazing, but no potato vodka option like the Map Room.
There is only one GF bun, so don't expect a "hoagie" with the Philly Cheese Steak - the flavor of which is good, but not great.
I shied away from the special coleslaw due to the accents about the cilantro, but when I asked for a taste, it was good. And the black bean salad was AMAZING! (despite the canned beans).
Only mildly busy on this Monday happy hour, but very friendly customers!

My favorite Indian food in town! You will be greeted with a smile and excellent hospitality as well as experience flavorful dishes. The menu has an amazing variety with gluten-free and vegetarian options.
Still my favorite restaurant, even after loosing my old Google account. I must be a "yuppíe" as Christy Dykes would apparently say. Please Google the definition of "Entree" before saying it's too small. I generally order 2 appetizers, an entree, a dessert, and two millstream sodas. I am a 200lb man after all. I have Celiac and this place has proven itself to me to be celiac-safe time and time again. Also if you are going to use a derogatory biker term, please know what it means, I am 40+, most are older and no one here is pretending to like Harleys. Is being well paid even an insult, lmao. My "father" was in an MC and I hate Harleys. Oh, and go watch South Park "the F-word" to see what most of America thinks about Harley riders these days. If you can't afford it just say so 🤷♂️. I am a disabled stay at home Dad, I am paid in smiles. I personally can only afford it twice a year (my wife and I spent $140+ a $20 tip last time) and I go out to eat nowhere else because there is nowhere else that is truly safe for someone with celiac.
Bento box was good. Server was friendly and accommodating. Would have preferred gluten free options on lunch menu without an upcharge. Spent $50 for two people plus a side and two sodas. The sushi fish was very fresh.
I just had a get together with what I thought was going to be 10 people, and ended up having closer to 20. The server (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) was awesome and so flexible with us. She was also supportive of my request to not offer alcoholic beverages, as I'm in recovery. They also had gluten free kids pizza that was delicious! Everyone's food came out in an awesome amount too time considering how many people there were including a couple of the guests that came a little after we showed up.
I am extremely grateful for the kindness of the staff 🙏 even when our children weren't seated and going to the toy machines and back.
Great place. Thank you so much 💓
We got salads which were good. A decent amount of the menu items can be prepared gluten free. Speak to the manager about celiac safety since the servers were not as knowledgeable. Overall I would come here again, and I felt comfortable having celiac disease.
Bop's Pizza

After reading so many comments about Bop's, I had to give it a try.

Far more spacious than you are lead to believe from the outside. Ample seating with artwork pieces that are completed puzzles. You have table seating on one side and booth seating on the other.

Once the family and I entered Bop's, we were promptly greeted by smiling faces. The gentleman cooking the pizzas waved and said hello with a big smile. It was like we knew each other (in all honesty); we did think we knew each other; I'm pretty sure it's a kindred spirit thing.
We were checked in with multiple times and had excellent service throughout :)!

Cheesy bread with tomato sauce. I loved this! They offered to cut it into eight pieces which worked perfectly for us. It was so good that I was trying to keep my expectations down on the pizza. I love to get myself so pumped many times to where I feel a bit bummed after the excitement build-up, and it wasn't the case here :)!

Where to start. We ordered a New York:
Queen Margherita
Five cheese blend, fresh Mozzarella, Roma Tomato & Fresh Basil
And a Detroit-style Pepperoni (this style can take between 35-40 minutes), but you can't rush perfection! I would wait all day, every day, for that pizza ;). If you are in a rush, it might be best to order ahead.
It was fantastic! As some have said, the tomato sauce is just perfect, I was hoping it would be amazing, and it was). It balances the sweet and salty so well. One can tell this is made fresh and in-house. The crust was delicious as well. With a light, crispy, texture and is also made by scratch in-house.
For those of you that need a Gluten-free option, that looks wowie, it is also offered at Bop's. Seeing other Gluten-free crusts really makes you appreciate a crust like this. See attached photo; it's hard to believe!

We went all out. Ordered ruhbarb pizza. The Rhubarb is brought in from local sources, and you can tell it's so fresh. It's got that tang and fresh taste that you can only get from an excellent fresh rhubarb. WE LOVED IT. We also tried out the sugar cookies, and they did not disappoint! I HIGHLY recommend the dessert pizzas with the experience we had.
Drinks
I just wanted to make a note here for those that wonder. They also had some beers on tap, which are in the attached photo.
Fun Fact: It's not on the menu, but you can order Chicago-style pizza on Tuesdays until they run out ;)! Better mark your calendar!
They also have vegetarian options.
To sum this up, we found our new favorite pizza place in CR/Marion!

I'm gluten-free and tried their gf noodles and wasn't impressed (undercooked), but tried the doodles (zucchini noodles,) this time. Phenomenal!!! Next time, i,'m trying it with shrimp.
I called ahead and spoke with the chef ahead of going here for a group event. They answered my questions for celiac accommodations and said that they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, that they do not toast their GF buns near regular ones (they steam them), and that they often serve orders for people with celiac. I felt confident going into the dinner the next day after that conversation. Unfortunately, when I ordered the server told me that the gluten-free fryer was not running that night. They offered a salad or soup as a side instead of the fries. I do believe they can accommodate celiac needs but suggest calling that day and confirming that the fryer is up and running if you are looking forward to ordering something that would require it!

Best jerk chicken I’ve ever had, get the jerk cabbage too! Everything is delicious, and she was very accommodating for gluten allergy! For a gf option the lentil meal was 😍😍
Great flavors, I’m so thrilled there are gluten free options! I went over lunch and there was plenty of parking and it wasn’t as busy as I expected. My takeout order was accurate and on time, and came with a fork and napkins.
I expected a bit more meat on the Texas Cowboy bowl, but the portions are large and definitely filling. Will be back to try their sandwiches!
We ordered food to go. I am gluten free and the manager took extra care to make my basket without contamination. The food was amazing. They have amazing burgers but their fries might be the best! The bacon was also perfectly crisp and real tasting!
Came in on a recommendation and was very happy! The pepperoni crusted bosco sticks were amazing with the cheese dip! Ordered 2 pizzas that were hot and full of flavor. Fresh baked cookies for dessert! Menu has gluten free options and power bowls as well.
Server was friendly and helpful. Outdoor patio. Lots more to try next time!
Ate here for lunch and shared the veggie bowl, no coast bowl, the weekly special and spring rolls. All of them were amazing! Great balance of flavor. Always great to find a place that offers dairy and gluten free options!
I've been in Chicagoland for over 25 years, and this was the first time back at L's in a couple centuries. It was the same great experience with a distinct pizza smell that met us at the front door. Great memories renewed. Excellent experience from service to ambiance to food. My wife, a first timer with gluten allergies, is already talking about the return trip.
This restaurant is the bomb! The food here is great and cook to order, my mom has a gluten intolerance but the bread here doesn't make it act up! Everything feels like they make it from scratch. The pancakes are the best. The only tidbit is the flies around the restaurant and they charge extra if you use card. The people really feel like they care and make sure you're satisfied. Excellent food for American and breakfast. Soul food for real!
Cedar Rapids— great food, great atmosphere, great service, damn good Bloody Mary no frills just good. Hard to beat the price point! Wish we could have stayed for the band. Lots of gluten free options too. Can’t wait to try the Sunday Brunch….went back for the buffet, give the buffet a stand alone 5-stars. Been there several times now, each time a different server - each server 10 stars!
Amazing! Food is by far best I've had pho and bowls sooo fresh service is fantastic and always makes it right. This is a sit down restaurant although the outside doesn't look like much, it is impressive on the inside. Price was $35 for two bubble teas two large sized entree's. Highly recommend. Also gluten free and vegetarian listed throughout menu TONS of options.
They advertise gyros with rice. Unfortunately it's rice pilaf which has gluten so we couldn't eat half our lunch. But we told the guy running the place and he made a new lunch for me complimentary. Awesome service and attitude 👍😎. So my only suggestion is to advertise rice pilaf instead of calling it plain rice. Portions were very generous.
