Without doubt, a place is everything: workers, ambient, food; in this case, served by the kind and professional waitress Iva, was excellent, not only for the food and attention to allergens (I’m celiac) but also for the kindness she treated us and the rest of the team to find us a table and give us the best experience. I would repeat.

My wife has severe gluten and dairy allergies so finding restaurants that we trust isn’t always easy. Finding restaurants we trust that also have great options, that always taste amazing is pretty much impossible. Ffiona’s is the exception to that rule. We go often now, and whenever we do we are always treated to the best meals and it is so nice to not worry at all that my wife will end up in the hospital. I travel often to many places including San Francisco, LA, Boston, and Paris…Ffiona’s in London is my favorite restaurant of any we have been to.
The gluten free and dairy free dessert options are seriously the best desserts I’ve ever had anywhere.

We were seated downstairs in the swanky area that seemed more suited to a date night than I catch up with old friends. It was a bit dark for me and the seating is very low which isn’t good for old knees.
The food was good when it came out and there were good gluten free options however the service let it down. The waiter was a bit condescending, when questioning missing dishes which we had previously asked about before , he advised us there was no such order. After a few mins discussion he made a big deal of telling us it had now been ordered implying it hadn’t been, and a few mins later the missing dishes all of a sudden turned up. This is the reason I marked it down because who likes to be told your a liar etc

Absolutely brilliant! I’m gluten and dairy intolerant and they were so helpful, I had my own bread, butter, vegetable portion (without butter) etc., they cooked my food with oil instead and asked me about everything. They were also really discrete, I hate having to shout across the table about it. Couldn’t recommend more highly, thoroughly enjoyable and delicious experience.

J. Sheekey's red facade has been an unmissable fixture along St Martin's Court in Covent Garden since 1896.
Sometimes, established legacy restaurants can be disappointing and not live up to their reputation. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service when I recently dined at this well-known seafood spot.
Although there isn't an abundance of gluten free options on the menu, the few that were available were full of flavour and well balanced. The fish was fresh, and I thought everything was spiced beautifully. The waitress took her time explaining what I could/ couldn't eat on the menu, and I felt safe dining despite my dietary restrictions. I was also happy to note that gluten free bread was available.
I want to highlight the risotto - it was remarkable, and I haven't had a risotto in a long that that I have enjoyed as thoroughly as this one.
I had a very pleasant experience dining here, and I would recommend it as a good option post-West End show!
