Always has gluten free pasta. Very nice. Inside atmosphere is charming. Great date spot. Prices are below average for the city but you can splurge on wine. I’m especially fond of the drip candles.
Crowded isles where you can find all things Asian, fresh fish, inexpensive fruits/veggies.
Don't expect specialty organic, gluten free, keto labels here.
Had 3 gluten free dishes, 2 shrimp (on menu) and they were able to do fried rice gluten free. Service was quick except they were backed up on the fried rice service (sizzling plate served on table). Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Place often has a long line but it tends to go quickly. Saw Peter the owner a couple times grabbing food and bringing in various supplies.
This place was great, the staff were attentive and kind. I ordered Seafood Fettuccine and it was amazing. My boyfriend is gluten free and he was catered for too!
Great food. Tomato bisque was so flavorful and they had gluten free pasta that was fantastic. It didn’t break apart and had a nice form bite. A few of the staff were rude which I didn’t appreciate. It took me out of the wonderful mood I was in when we arrived. I’d definitely be back for take out but not going to dine in.
Highly recommend the halibut, shrimp, and crab, out of this world. One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. Beautiful views, right on the water. Complimentary valet service was excellent. Wait staff were kind and knowledgable; my fiancé can't have gluten or dairy and they expertly and carefully accomodated us. Will come again.
Great selection of seafood. Allergy information is readily available including clearly marked gluten free choices on the main menu. Excellent location with a fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Solid alcoholic drink menu. Prices are reasonable for being not only in San Francisco but located on Pier 39. I've been here twice, and if you decide to get a cocktail I would recommend spending the extra $3-4 to upsize it. You'll get more value that way!
I'm updating my review several months later...
My sister, Angela, and I visited for my sister's birthday. Angela was undergoing chemotherapy at the time and made the effort to get ready so that we could celebrate together. Angela had made the reservation and included in the reservation that I have a gluten allergy; she didn't make any mention that she would be arriving in a wheelchair or that she was immunocompromised. It was an early dinner so as to miss the crowds.
The host didn't miss a beat when we arrived. He looked busy as we wheeled in and I realized it was because he saw us and was quickly making changes to our table to best accommodate.
The impeccable service continued throughout dinner. Our server was very attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. Everything was perfect.
I didn't know at the time that it would be Angela's last birthday celebration and can't thank you all enough for making that day special for Angela.
Had the most wonderful experience. Luis was our server and he was so engaging and helpful. They took allergies/celiac very seriously. The service was impeccable - water was always refilled, new dinnerware between courses, plating of food. But most importantly every dish was a total delight to the mouth. While every dish was incredible, my absolute favourites were the Nikkei (tuna ceviche) and the limeña (upscale potato salad - I’m not doing it justice with my explanation). Truly a delight and would absolutely come back next time I’m in town! Thanks La Mar!

Food was absolutely delicious. Good gluten free options as I got the corn tortilla tacos. The orange habanero hot sauce was fresh, spicy, and tasty!
Crunchy fries and fresh fish. Would highly recommend on a sunny day.
The wait was around 25-30 minutes but they were very transparent about it.
Outdoor patio seating and good vibes in general.
The food and service was amazing! The gluten free pasta was cooked perfectly and the oysters shucked to perfection. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!! Thank you for the great meal and service.

We held a 30-person corporate reception and dinner at Zingari last week. Our guests have shared so much positive feedback on the setup, service and food - all fabulous. As the organizer, I was relieved to choose from so many vegan/gluten-free options on the menu. Thanks Neeraj to you and your team for treating our guests to a wonderful evening - we'll be by next time we're in San Francisco.
Very helpful with my wheat allergy. Made sure to tell me what was gluten free and adjusted my order to be sure there wasn’t contamination (not a gluten free kitchen though, of course).
