Amazing sushi, and almost everything can e made gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer and use gf tempura. Everything was fresh and the service was very helpful and friendly. Definitely will go back!

Went to PLANTA on Bay Street for brunch with a friend. I opted for the power lunch which was $28 dollars for a starter, main, and a giant cookie. I got the 1000 layered potato, and the chick'n waffles. The layered potatoes were crispy, and the vegan sour cream on top was indistinguishable from regular sour cream. The chick'n waffles had a nice combination of sweet, spicy, and salty. It was very satisfying and seasoned perfectly. My friend had a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate her! They did inform her that there may be cross contamination, which is something to look out for. The service was very attentive, and friendly. Definitely, try this place!

Very fast and friendly service by Jacqueline, nice and quiet, not packed. Romantic lighting. Amazing gluten free menu. The coconut curry seafood was amazing! The seafood was cooked delicately and to perfection. Several kinds of seafood in the dish. Delicious sauce with lots of vegetables, and even some potatoes. 10/10

Normally this is our favourite go-to for sit-down or take out sushi. Lately the sit down is only ok but the take-remains delicious. The take out seems more fresh than the sit down. This week we went early before the rush and things were coming out with any of the little toppings you see in the pictures like tobico. And the whole assortment of gluten free items that say 'teriyaki' have no sauce. GF teriyaki sauce is cheaper than gf soy sauce so I'm not sure why they'd leave it so dry. A fun place for basic sushi, but could improve for sure. The picture is supposed to be teriyaki beef with mushroom but it's a dry little tasteless bit.

Their food is great, however I have a gluten allergy, and they have been pretty awful with accommodating that. I’ve given it a few chances because I really like their menu but they fail on the gluten free accommodations almost every time. And some of the staff have been rude about it. Great food, great place, bad about allergies. I’m sad to say I won’t be going back or ordering from them again.
