This has now become one of my favorite sushi places. Their food is a work of art. Seriously. Art that you get to fully enjoy. Their whole menu (minus one item) is gluten free. That's right. You can enjoy tempura! I teared up a bit about this. It's been almost 13 years since I have had tempura and this place did not disappoint! Their beverages are delicious and beautifully made. Their rolls are flavorful and filling. Their atmosphere is modern and simple, allowing you to focus on the food/art in front of you. Our server was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. Parking can be difficult because it's the U Village, and it's totally worth it. Fresh, tasty, amazing and absolutely worth it.
It’s kind of wild how busy this place gets, especially since the sushi was pretty subpar. The real perk is the clearly labeled gluten-free menu—huge win—and the happy hour prices make it more appealing.
But let’s talk about the service. Hawaiian shirt and mustache man—yes, you—our waiter. You quite literally stopped serving tables mid-shift to hang out and laugh behind the bar with your friends. We could see you. It wasn’t slammed. You just… opted out. Our food was delivered by kitchen staff, we never got drink refills, and after our plates were cleared (thanks to the ever-diligent dish crew), we sat for another 30 minutes before finally flagging someone down to pay. As we were walking out, you cheerfully waved from behind the bar with a “Have a great day, y’all!” So… you did remember us?
Despite the laughably bad service, the gluten-free options and happy hour prices might bring me back—but next time, I’ll cross my fingers for a different server.
Highly recommend!! We went here while on vacation and it was a great experience! I have a gluten allergy and our waitress, Jessica, was incredibly knowledgeable and kind whenever I had questions and was super accommodating! The menu was also labeled with which items were GF as well which was very helpful. Everything tasted great!!
This was a great find for us. The drinks were perfectly made. The food was exceptional. The best part was the service. We had 1 person in our group who was Gluten-free/Siliac. The chef and manager both came out to make sure they fully understood his diet and needs. They must have nailed it. He wasn't in pain before we left the restaurant or during the remainder of our evening. How many restaurants can say they care that much to make sure they get you and your health 100%?
Very impressive!! I would highly recommend them for this very reason.
Absolutely delicious. I got the Pad Kee Meo (spelling??) and my partner got the Roasted Duck Curry. I got level 2 spice, and it was pretty spicy! I couldn't do a level 3 like he did. Even their water was good. I really appreciate denoting what is gluten free. Can't wait to come back and try more!
I have a lot of random and severe food restrictions (nightshades, gluten, and pork), so finding a place that is so conscientious and accommodating is a godsend! I was able to get clear information on ingredients and was even cautioned when I chose something I couldn't eat. It was pure heaven to be able to have so many options available to me! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The venue was spotless. All staff wore masks! And, the food was incredibly delicious! My only criticism is that the raw ahi tuna tasted watery and lacked in flavor. Otherwise, I was in heaven. I absolutely recommend this place!
Really lovely experience for a special dinner tonight. The sushi is excellent. Edamame, miso soup, tea, and panna cotta was also superb. Excellent service. They made a special night out very nice. So many gluten Free options.
Had an excellent omakase experience, with fantastic dishes and interesting explanations. Service was top-notch, plus the team did a great.job accommodating a gluten-free version of the planned menu for Celiac. Sure, it's a pricey meal, but the quality and quantity of fish was A+.
10/10 Service. 9/10 Food.
Im 100% coming back whenever I want sushi. From when you walk in you’re greeted. They’re busy because it’s good but they also only had one waiter so I understand a slow response. That’s acceptable but although they may be slow they’re responsive and super helpful. The waiter told me 3 times that she would get to us and I value that because it means she’s aware. When it came to ordering they accommodate gluten free options. They have a few options they can’t make gluten free but their menu tells you all about it. For example they easily substituted tempura shrimp with cooked shrimp. It was such a great experience with great food that wow I left feeling good!
It was a pretty okay experience. It was decent sushi and the waitress was nice. The staff knew which items on the menu were gluten free. Overall pretty decent.
Excellent place. It's a small place so booking a reservation is not a bad idea.
I went with a friend and we tried all the gluten free rolls. By the way this place is fully vegan. Everything is mocked fish.
My favourites were Spicy Tuna, Seattle Roll and Yoga. All are gluten-free.
I wouldn't recommend Mango Tango.
The service was excellent. Very nice host and really passionate about the restaurant and its menu.

super yummy vegan sushi!!
Got to come in for more of a soft opening in valentines. What a great date! Not an all vegan restaurant and everyone can enjoy delicious food! Amazing vegan menu and awesome selection of well curated rolls and sides. Enjoyed everything we ordered! They have gluten-free options highlighted on the menu as well. Great servers. I recommend this spot!
We sat at the sushi bar 🍣 and were treated like family. The sushi chefs took our order before our server had a chance to ask us. Rolls were made quick, and every bite was delicious. We also had the "sexy edamame" which is dressed with some chili aoli - tasted like a honey garlic and we really enjoyed the different (to us) flavors.
They mark all their gluten-free dishes with a big GF, which were only 4 or 5 rolls. Not sure if they could substitute other rolls to make them GF. We ordered what was provided but would definitely like to get adventurous next time.
Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area who has a sushi craving. You'll leave this place satisfied for sure. Thanks again, Fuji Sushi!
Ordered from this place on DoorDash, whom doesn’t offer allergen notes. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and sunshine roll, both marked gluten free, but I became very ill. They didn’t prepare it properly or take the order seriously. I won’t be going back.
Celebrated my MILs 89th yesterday with lunch here and everything was super awesome! She has celiacs and even though sushi is usually safe, our server went out of her way to make sure MIL didn’t come near anything with gluten - aka soy sauce. Fish was super fresh and excellently prepared. Will definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome experience😊
I've had a LOT of sushi at a LOT of restaurants around the Seattle metro area, and Kiriba Sushi is absolutely the best in its price range. They use *real crab* instead of that fake stuff, and their rolls are all just a little elevated compared to similar restaurants' rolls. I especially liked the Washington roll, and the hamachi nigiri was divine. The server also was very knowledgeable about gluten, and explained what had gluten and what could be modified so that I (celiac disease) could eat it. I did not get sick. We will definitely eat here again.
This place is a bit small, so you may have to wait or make a reservation on busy nights.
I am gluten free and the food was safe and tasty! Right after ordering, we received a notification our reservation at another drink place was ready so the Shiku staff rushed our order and packed it up to go. So friendly, accommodating, and yummy!
