Just had an amazing experience at Selia Bar and had to share! The entire place is 100% gluten free, which was such a relief — no need to worry about cross-contamination at all. It’s so refreshing to be able to choose anything from the menu without second-guessing or stressing.
There were so many delicious options to pick from, and everything we tried was fantastic. Our server, Erick, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his thoughtful service.
If you’re looking for a safe and genuinely enjoyable place to eat out, I highly recommend Selia Bar. I left feeling full, happy, and totally at ease.
Picked up a gluten free lunch today, $30 for 1 meal is kinda ridiculous. I got pasta with the burger and it was an added $8 up charge to get a small portion of gross pasta. The pasta was horrible, very clearly reheated (not well) and definitely a day or 2 old. I could have made Kraft dinner that tasted better than their barely reheated pasta. I don’t know if they changed chefs but their pasta used to be amazing. Very disappointing
Wonderful staff. Nice atmosphere. Im a celiac and have other allergies. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu and that most items are Gluten Free. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be the food. The guacamole is amazing!!!!
100000% recommend The Taco Shop. Cass, was an amazing server. She recommend us some drinks that were probably rhe best margaritas I've ever had. EVER. Me and my husband are gluten free and dairy free, and we had soooo many options. They were really good at recommending their favorite dishes, and they did NOT disappoint. We will 100% be back for tacos and margaritas here. The vibe is so fun! Also, bathrooms are totally selfie worthy 🤣🤣
If you made it this far in my review- you might as well just go eat there.
We stopped in for lunch after a morning hike. The food was delicious! We started with the picodegalo and guacamole with home made taco chips. They did not disappoint!
For our entrée we did the street tacos and swapped flavors between us, they were all cooked perfectly. They also serve them with home made hot sauce which was packed with flavor and the right amount of heat.
The menu has a lot of gluten free options! It is the same frier for certain items like the chips. The tacos were completely fine.
We ordered Mochas for the drive home, they were rich and delicious. Would definitely go back
Kennedy was an amazing waitress and it was an amazing experience and atmosphere. The food was amazing. I especially like it here because they have many gluten free options including gluten free buns and a separate gluten free fryer.

I am so glad Campio has landed in Ritchie! The atmosphere and plethora of beverage offerings are awesome. The only thing I would give as feedback is that it is extremely hard as an individual with celiac to eat here. Their menu is rife with GF and GF+ items, which excited me at first, however, there is an absolute risk of cross-contamination due to the lack of separate fryers or prep space. I appreciated the staff's confirmation of this, but it makes it really hard to go here now. Liquid diet it is!
Service was perfect balance of helpful and giving you the space to enjoy your meal. Food was delicious! Very gluten-free friendly! Lots of options for meat and non-meat esters.
Lots of gluten free options. He took time to explain what I could and couldn't have, very helpful and knowdgeable. When you deal with something like Celiac, you really appreciate a place where they make an effort to look after you. Thank you!
Wow. One of the best dining experiences I've had in awhile. Our waitress was amazing. I really wish I'd gotten her name to leave in this review. The restaurant was extremely clean and such a good atmosphere.
I got the vegetable fajitas and they were amazing. The guacamole is the best I've ever had. They were also able to accommodate me being celiac!
I highly recommend this place. Wow, just wow. Everything was just so good.
Stopped by this place for lunch. Tried the Carnitas tacos. They were tender and filling with big portions. Great atmosphere. The Menu is celiac friendly.

Came to Blanco after visiting another restaurant close by, after bad service. Was seated and greeted right away. Brittany was our server and she was absolutely lovely, my friend is celiac and was very accommodating and helpful to her with the menu. Also suggested great drinks for us. Highly recommend Blanco, and highly recommend Brittany.
I recently visited the Barburrito in Shawnessy and had a great experience, especially thanks to Amish. I’m gluten sensitive, and he went out of his way to make sure my falafel burrito was completely gluten-friendly. He carefully picked fresh veggies from inside the veg boxes and made sure to change his gloves each time to avoid any cross-contamination.
The place was clean, had a nice dine-in atmosphere, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. If you’re looking for gluten-free options, I highly recommend asking for Amish—he truly cares about customer needs. Great service and tasty food!

Today was probably my best day at Costa vida I am celiac and even though they couldn’t offer me the sweet pork burrito they had tons of other suggested meals for me to try. They were super happy and enthusiastic at the front and made sure that I felt welcome. This is by far the best location in all of Calgary if you are planning on getting Costa vida come to 130th ave. They also gave a good sized portion of everything from the sweet pork on the enchiladas to the rice on the side she also gave me some sauce as a suggestion to put on my rice and it was amazing.

Today was the any special deal and I am celiac. They used to make me a sweet pork burrito out of the corn shells or they would just let me get two enchiladas instead of the burrito but they wouldn’t give me the deal and they refused to make me a gluten free burrito. So I ended up paying full price for a very little amount of food because there so cheap with how much they give you and they charge so much for it. Very bad service food is usually good but there getting worse and worse every time don’t come to this location go to 130th avenue if you are planning on eating Costa vida.

We came here tonight for supper. I placed an order on the app right before we walked into the restaurant. Less pressure as we can look at the menu as long as we want haha.
We were greeted as soon as we walked into the restaurant. I let them know I did an online order and they checked for it and said it would be about 5 minutes. I went and asked my husband and brother which drinks they’d like and came back to order them. It seems like a small detail, but the cashier remembered my name and asked what she could get for me. Our food was delivered to our table promptly.
We have gotten Costa Vida delivered or for take out many times, but we decided to eat in this time. I chose to write a review mostly because the staff were so lovely here!! Everyone we talked with was so friendly and attentive. They even thanked us and said goodbye when we left too. It’s those little things that make a difference, so kudos to the team tonight.
Also! Ha. We all ordered enchiladas, our go-to, and the reason we crave Costa Vida. No pics but food was yummy, portions were great, sauce amount was also good! Our fave is the medium green sauce. I appreciate I can get gluten-friendly corn tortillas here too.
Oh and there are high chairs!
Thanks everyone at CV Royal Oak!
We had 3 different tacos and the food was great. I loved the Birria Tacos especially, but the Fish and the Lengua were fantastic too. The restaurant has a great aesthetic and it's authentically mexican. I highly recommend.
Also lots of Gluten-free and dairy free options, I highly recommend.
I've been very lucky to get gluten free burritos from this location with no after math of being glutened (celiac disease). The girls working are pleasant and the food has been great.
Gurleen makes the best burritos ever. This location is amazing. Their quality of food is superb and the taste is impeccable. I've been to other locations which deterred me from going to this one but I did and now I go several times per week. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to allergens like celiac/gluten free. I am always impressed by the level of service here. Thanks Gurleen for making amazing burritos every time. Your consistency is fantastic 👏 👌
The gentleman who served us (I forgot to get his name!) was really lovely and very helpful, food really fresh and tasty - lots of gluten free options too which was a huge bonus! We’ll definitely be back :)
My experience at the place was amazing.
Staff Miss Yashica and Vivek was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I were greeted with the smile when we entered the place.
I am bit fussy with my choices of food, they patiently made my bowl with extra veggies and less sauce.

Jenna was incredible. Tequila was incredible. I’m celiac and before we were sat at our table they did an allergy check and brought out Gluten free chips which were…you guessed it - incredible. Great vibes for a great night. Can’t wait to be back.
GLUTEN-FREE! Family friendly, Mexican-owned, and family business with some of the best tacos in town.
Firstly, they make their tortillas in-house, which makes all the difference. They are soft and tender and just delicious!
Secondly, they don’t skimp on quality. The tacos are excellent and their Gordita is fantastic! I am a huge fan of their rumchata and their churros are gluten-free! This is such a fantastic place for gluten-free folks and their menu is fabulous.
Also, the space itself is BEAUTIFUL! A hidden gem along Stony Plain Road and 124 Street that’s great for date-night or post-work snacks.
Don’t let the construction deter you from visiting this place! They’re worth it!
Very friendly staff. This location is consistent with their service and how they make their bowls. It’s a consistent portion. I also appreciate the gluten friendly burrito wraps as well have family members that require the modification.
Delicious food. Staff is very friendly and even they were busy they did provide great customer service. They went above and beyond to accommodate gluten free allergy. Definitely coming back
Great food! I am celiac and they are extremely accommodating to gluten free options, they even have gluten free wraps if you are looking for a burrito! I had a pulled pork bowl that was super tasty , I will be back again 🙌
Wow such a nice service. Simran know it all. There were literally three people inside the store and orders continually coming through different mediums but this lady knew how to handle everything that it didn’t seem a lot at all and end up having a warm chat about different gluten free options which are available. Would recommend the location to everyone who’s giving this a read. 😊👍
A very special thank you to Sam for her service today during the dinner rush. I have eaten here many times for lunch as I work nearby, but Sam is the first employee ever to pull fresh containers of veggies from the fridge to ensure zero cross contamination in my meal when I mention I had Celiac disease! This may seem so simple to some, but to a Celiac, it is HUGE! Eating out can be distressing and the extra care Sam took today really made my day! Thank you Sam!!
What a hidden gem. Once you try mucho burrito it will be hard to go back to your old mexican restaurant. The ingredients taste fresh, alot of customization but no bad options, well educated and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. On top of that they have been able to accommodate my wifes gluten allergy and egg allergy with no complications or headaches.
I reccomend this to anyone wants a tasty Mexican dining experience.
Edit: down to 3 stars as everytime I've gone there in the last couple months I've received a drastically smaller portion size with my bowls. Specifically i ordered a burrito bowl and a burrito, and even though the burrito is cheaper the burrito gets alot more toppings inside then the burrito bowl that costs more. And the bowls seem to have people being more and more skimpy on toppings each time I come.
Edit#2: down to 1 star. I again got burrito bowls today. This is the smallest portion I've ever been given. I was told we should recieve the equivilant of the "mucho" sized burrito. I was given 1 small scoop of everything. Starting with the rice and beans. I also had to inform the employee that with a gluten allergy she will need to change her gloves, which I've never dealt with in the past.
Meantime I watched the customer before me who ordered a burrito get multiple scoops of each item to fill his burrito. I'm paying more, to not get a tortilla. I love the food, but there needs to be better training in place. *photo added for reference*
You've asked I PM you. May I ask where to reach out exactly? Email, fb etc?
I am celiac, and the careful preparation was most appreciated. The gentleman running the restaurant today also took time to explain their menu. Thank you bar burrito!
We ordered online and went to pick up. The online ordering was smooth and easy.
We showed up early and we were able to watch them make our order. Everything was super clean in there and they were very meticulous in making sure our order was gluten free. He even asked if our quesadilla was too dark and if I wanted it remade. Everything was hot and he even had tips for our daughters quesadilla if it was soggy when we got home as he said they are best eaten with 5 minutes.
The food was delicious and the portions are huge. My gluten free burrito was everything I wanted. This is a wonderful addition to this town and We will definitely be back!
BarBurrito in Symons valley
offers a delightful Tex-Mex experience that caters to a variety of tastes. On my recent visit, I was impressed by the extensive menu, featuring options like the bang bang crunchy chicken burrito, which was both flavorful and satisfying. The pulled pork burrito stood out with its tender meat and rich taste. For those seeking a lighter option, the burrito bowl was fresh and customizable. The establishment also accommodates dietary preferences, providing gluten-free choices prepared with care to avoid cross-contamination. The staff’s attention to detail and friendly service enhanced the dining experience. Overall, BarBurrito is a commendable spot for anyone craving quality Tex-Mex fare in Calgary.
Went in for lunch today. Employees were attentive to my gluten allergy and got vegetables that weren’t contaminated. Order a chicken bowl, was pretty good, and didn’t get sick.
