El Moose is lovely! The food is delicious, as a celiac, it’s hard feeling safe and comfortable going out to eat however El Moose is amazing and most of their items are completely GF!
Love it here. Can’t recommend enough!
We love this place! It is our go-to choice when people are in town. Options enough to be loved by everyone. Gluten-Free (✔️) Vegetarian (✔️) Food is consistently delicious. Service is always great.
Food and atmosphere were amazing and the staff handled a kitchen mishap with grace! Everything is gluten free!! We loved it! The Boskue Magico is fabulous!
Great spot for a snack, dinner or after-work happy hour. Classic or creative taco options for mom and pop or pop-stars looking to impress with their delish Insta pix. Korean BBQ Beef,Bacon Cheeseburger, and Buffalo Chicken tacos were inspired and will keep me coming back for more. The mocktail that riffed on Pina Colada is a most refreshing treat. Server was very accommodating and thoughtful. Gluten or dairy free and vegetarian requirements easily accommodated. Free street parking available within a block or three in a neighborhood that is very walkable, with delightful boutiques and street art, and feels safe day or night. Ask about spice levels as there are a few surprises (refried beans were muy caliente) with heat levels not marked on menu.
Saranac Public House – Spokane, WA
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Saranac. I was dining with someone who has celiac, and we had zero issues finding great gluten-free options. The team did an awesome job.
I ordered the chicken wings with gochujang sauce (not gluten-free), and we shared the steak and potatoes appetizer, Thai chicken flatbread, and mac and cheese. All had gluten-free versions available and were outstanding. The flavors were bold, the portions generous, and the service was top-notch.
Also, happy hour is available all day on Sundays, which was a great bonus.
Great food, plenty of GF options, and excellent service. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.
Wonderful food, wonderful staff. The bowls are delicious and the portions very generous but we still found room for dessert. The chocolate cinnamon torte (gluten free!) was very tasty. We'll be back! (It would be good to add a changing table for babies and toddlers in the restroom).
came here for lunch as the Find Me Gluten Free app had enough reviews to make me think it was safe for someone with celiac disease. I asked our waitress several questions before ordering and she assured me that my prime rib sandwich on a gf bun would be safe. 4 bites in, after I had asked her to double check if the jus was safe, she let me know that the meat itself was basted in jus which had wheat. they brought me out a different sandwich which they rushed but never apologized up until I was leaving. the second sandwich took time to come out. the manager didn’t stop by our table and the waitress didn’t handle the situation well. the kitchen should’ve seen my order flagged as celiac and known not to serve me something with wheat. celiac is an autoimmune disorder where gluten causes damage to your stomach lining. so they essentially poisoned me and didn’t seem all too sorry. they still charged me for my meal and it wasn’t until I told them I shouldn’t have to pay that they comped me and apologized. they entire lunch was very awkward and put a huge damper on the energy of our day celebrating our friends 30th birthday. what a bummer. I was sick the rest of the day. I wouldn’t return.

Great place for Celiacs!! The food is great and comes out quick. It’s also really filling, you can definitely share one entree with someone if you’re not feeling too hungry!
It was just an amazing place overall. We were on a roadtrip and just passing by. I was so surprised to find a dog friendly restaurant that was also gluten-free! I was very pleased!
Absolutely delicious! Went with my friend who is gluten free and they had so many gluten free options! We had lots of delicious food and drinks! 15/10 will always go back!
The food here is amazing! They have something for everyone, from gluten free, dairy free, nut free, vegan , and etc!
The food comes out quick and the seat yourself policy is nice except there are a limited amount of tables so come early!
The coffee is fresh brewed and the cold brew is smooth!
I got the vegan bowl and added an egg for protein, it was delicious!
Went to watch the NBA finals. They have a great sports bar set up with TVs everywhere you look to see the game. Good sound coming through the sound system. We had a reservation, otherwise might not have gotten a seat to watch.
Great drink selection with tons of options on tap.
Minus a star for lack of great gluten free food options. The truffle fries weren't that great
We did catering for 40 and picked it up (wouldn't expect them do delivery 30 miles away). They were exactly on time, had everything right in the first go, and didn't give us lower quality food, everything you would expect if you were dining in. Easy and consistent, I'd call that a win. Plus, it works for people with pretty much all the allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, pea protein, corn, love and happiness)
I've now been here (or had takeout) a handful of times for brunch and dinner. I've been completely satisfied every time. The food is delicious and filling. The servers have always been super friendly; helpful to a family with a toddler and a diner with Celiac disease. It is usually pretty quiet and easy to get a table. Service is speedy and accurate.
If you are a foodie, this is your place! Rotating menu with unique specials, such as Garbanzo PR Pastel, smoked albacore santiago sandwich. Cubano is amazing! Also, take care of gluten free and vegetarian folks! Local ciders and beers. Thanks Conor!
We've always loved their food and their service. It's our daughter's favorite place to eat, she even had them cater her graduation party. Great place to eat if you are gluten-free/have Celiacs.
Great for those with Celiac looking for a safe place to eat! Staff was friendly, service was fast, food was delicious and well priced!
They even let us have our dog on the patio space, a perfect stop after visiting the off leash dog beach. Will be coming back!
The waitstaff was very knowledgeable about Celiac Disease which was great! The decor is nice and the space is pretty roomy. Al Pastor Tacos were great. They don't have a dedicated gluten free fryer so no chips for me but they offered to have tortilla slices brought out instead. Menus marked with dietary restrictions.
One vegan gluten free option for lunch! Wish there were more, but the food is consistently good and the real selling point is the outdoor seating area on Alki next to the Puget Sound, with views of the Seattle skyline.
The employees said that none of the food has gluten in it except the pastries that are on the counter in a bin. It was delicious and we were surprised there wasn’t a long line; we will definitely go back!
Taco Vado is one of our favorite food joints in Spokane! The tacos and bowls and plates NEVER disappoint. We always leave here satisfied and full!! The staff is always so nice and accommodating to any requests. I love that they have a variety of options for everyone, including vegan and gluten free! The vegan taco plate is incredible, as well as the Jules and the Cali taco! This is our go-to spot for tacos!
Both myself and my partner got the mill burger. I also got it with a gluten free bun. The bun was good and didn't fall apart but was soggy on the top and bottom. It was also toasted. I asked for my burger to be medium rare and half of it was burnt. They confirmed with me pink in the middle and it was well done. They had homemade sauces and the honey mustard was really good. The burger sauce tastes too much like mayonnaise for me. There were also homemade pickles that made the burger so good. Whenever I have a burger there are never enough onions. Not here there was a whole slice of red onions. The Cinderella was great. We also order the brussel sprouts and wild mushrooms. I thought the brussels were ok but my partner liked them. I couldn't tell you how the mushrooms were because they never came out. I personally think the portions were too big. I would go back but I'd def try to get a kids meal.
The gluten free burger alone was $29 btw. I'm the photo you can see how much food I didn't eat and the burnt burger through the cheese. On the menu the gf things are clearly marked. Sadly none of the steaks are gf
One of my favourite spots in Seattle so far. It's really cute inside and the food was fantastic. Happy hour is well priced. The GM was very lovely and knowledge. The entire staff were very knowledgeable which made eating there as a celiac very nice. Most of the food is celiac safe and same with the drinks. Will definitely be coming back. The pork belly and pork al tacos were fantastic!
Yum! What a great a lot on a dry day. The temps were cold and sunny but the food was hot and delicious. The Brussels sprouts was great.
Nice tables and chairs behind for sitting.
Most options were gluten free, all but one!
Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. I’m super sensitive gluten and dairy allergic and ate there without issue. I had some tacos and the pozole. The carne asada tacos were so moist and delicious. The pozole was full of flavor - loved it so much I went back the next day and bought some to take home. Great drinks! We spent $80 for food and drinks but most of that was on the drinks. My husband had the ritual sacrifice which comes flaming in a glass skull. It was delicious!
We arrived just at 7 pm and sat at the bar. Shortly after we got there they got SLAMMED! Like insanely busy and had a small crew working. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and handled it with grace. They didn’t buckle under pressure and kept things moving as fast as they could.
No pictures of the food this time because we ate it too fast.
Highly recommend!
The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because their ventilation system was blowing cold air. When I went outside it was actually warmer on a 55f day.
Food was superb. Prices fair. Staff quite lovely. Very friendly. They also made sure they followed all procedures to insure as little gluten contamination as possible. Changed gloves, washed hands, used cooking barriers, and so forth. Very impressive.

I really love coming here.
Service from hostess to waitress is exceptional -Great experience, Great atmosphere, excellent drinks, good selection (including Gluten Free).
They recommended the chipotle enchiladas and they were delicious.
We've always enjoyed our experiences here.
Just a heads up for GF people... the rice pilaf does appear to contain barley, which is NOT gluten free, and I did not see it indicated on the menu.

I was initially hesitant to dine here due to negative reviews, but decided to give it a chance. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would consider returning. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance with its low lighting was pleasant. They had a good variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The cauliflower appetizer was tasty, though it could have used a touch of salt. The kale and mushroom tacos were enjoyable, and the side salad add-on was a good value at $3. The purist margarita was delicious. While our server took a bit long to greet us, the service was still satisfactory. The prices were reasonable. The only downside was that the staff seemed inexperienced, despite it not being busy. I hope they can improve and succeed. I have yet to bring my children here, but I am hopeful that it is kid-friendly. I may update my review after trying it with them.
Nestled in a small and eclectic strip mall, this order-at-counter seafood cafe provides ample portions, fresh fish, and a multitude of options that would make even gluten-free appetites happy. Truly a gem.
