Great service, very polite, was cooked all fresh. Cooked the gluten free fish completely separate and tasted amazing, you wouldn't be able to tell. The batter was so good on the cod and the chips were banging.

We had a wonderful experience at Trattoria. The restaurant was decorated for the Christmas season and a welcome reprieve from a long, cold days walk in the hills. The service was lovely and the pizza was out of this world! I am gluten free and to have gluten-free, handmade dough cooked in a wood fired oven with lots of cheese was superb. I also ordered the tomato and basil salad which was fresh and delicious. The portions were quite large and worth the price. I highly recommend this authentic Italian, family run restaurant.

Me and my daughter had a gluten free afternoon tea here, the staff were incredible, the afternoon tea was delicious, the gluten free cakes, waffles and scones were absolutely gorgeous. I had mentioned when I phoned to book that we were coming for my daughters birthday and the lady brought out a piece of cake with a candle so we could sing!! The cherry on top of it all was the cafe had a dog called Holly who sat so well behaved on a chair at our table bringing is absolute joy!!! I would highly recommend!

Walked into Bowness to eat, due to the advertisement of gluten free food. Once we went to order they told us that no gluten free food was available due to only one chef being available. If you advertise you have gluten free food, please ensure that there is at least always one gluten free option.

They have a separate fryer for gluten free food so it's coeliac safe. Staff were great and it's fairly priced. GF fish and chips were one of the best we've had!
