Pretty good, gluten-free dough balls were great. Gluten-free pizza could have been better but it was nice just being able to eat out! It was a Sunday afternoon so very quiet at the time. Peach fizzy drink was one of the best soft drinks I've had before.

Viv was a massive asset to this community and now its changed hands not all changes have been welcomed. The chips are good and the added cheesy chips are nice. The other items I have eaten from here have been nice. They have now included the gluten free side so the whole family can eat here. The food is quite good so we're happy.
Cozy pub with gluten-free options and attentive service ensuring safe, delicious meals.

Not recommended for Gluten free veggies. Very few choices and disappointingly the allergen filter available on the menu gives obviously incorrect answers. When this error is pointed out the staff replied “well thats not my fault”. Oh well. I’ll avoid in future. Such a shame lovely looking place nice atmosphere. Millions of beers and real ales but the only GF one is bottled Peroni. Sigh.

What a great find. Portions here are insanely generous. Booked ahead for Sunday lunch, had a wonderful table downstairs next to the bar.
Very apt at catering for gluten free, alternative bread was great for starters, and I felt I had plenty of choices. Highlight of the meal was the festive oven baked Camembert with cranberry - absolutely phenomenal. Fish and chips was too large to eat it all, though I did try, and friends all had roasts which looked incredible, again, generous portion sizes. Staff were great. Felt thoroughly taken care of, and very dog friendly inside with treats available for furry friends!
Parking at Broad St car park is free, and very conveniently close.

I had issues ordering gluten free pasta once again from Zizzi. it's always a challenge as it arrives VERY al dente. I always ask if they could inform the chef to please cook it longer so it's cooked but this has mixed results. BUT this branch at Haywards heath was by far the worst. Firstly they brought gluten pasta which luckily I spotted (as it wasn't fusilli) and then when the replacement GF pasta arrived a few minutes later (not long enough to have cooked it!) it was like cardboard and inedible. It seemed the chef wouldn't cook it longer and insisted on cooking it VERY al dente. I refused the meal and had to wait for a different meal to be prepared while my group all had their food already. Fail. This also meant we were in the restaurant for a very long time and missed the first half of the event we were attending.
Zizzi - I wholly recommend that you change this policy of undercooking GF pasta, no-one likes it like cardboard. I also suggest you consider switching to penne instead of fusilli as fusilli is harder to cook properly. I won't be visiting Zizzi again as it's just too annoying to keep going through this each time. :(
