Fast food, great steak, great atmosphere, friendly service. Even gluten free bread. Steak and g egg the cooked perfectly in a cozy yet spacious little place with clean tables and spotless floor. The waitress filled my cup of coffee several times.
The sandwiches were fantastic, and we really appreciated multiple vegetarian options. It was really nice sitting on the patio looking out over historic route 66. I even noticed they had gluten free pastries, which I'm sure my celiac friends would appreciate. The bathroom was dirty, but that happens when you have a small staff at a local place. The ladies working were so very nice and made everything fresh. No sandwiches hanging out getting mushy here. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're looking for a quick, light lunch.
We needed a place to stop on a road trip and this place was so good. I got the salad (the name was something like "that sounds good salad"). We went with kids and they enjoyed it as well.
There is a cute shop in the back and while I was too full for pie, they looked amazing.
The menu has a good variety and they have gluten free options and were able to accommodate our family with peanut allergies.
Found this place on find me gluten free. Was super knowledgeable about gluten and super sweet/friendly ladies. If you have any questions the owner will come out to talk to you. I highly recommend.
Incredibly rude staff. I'm gluten-free and this establishment posted they have a gluten-free crust. My family came in to order multiple pizzas, including my gluten-free pizza. At the register when ordering, the staff member informed us they ran out of gluten-free crust but had cauliflower. I told them I cannot eat cauliflower crust. My husband said to me in front of the staff, "Do we need to go to another restaurant since they do not have food for you?" I said no, and that my family could order the other 3 pizzas and stay, I would go next door to a different restaurant and get food that is gluten-free there and return. My husband then ordered 3 pizzas and I went to get a gluten-free food item from a restaurant next door. When I returned with my food in a bag to sit and eat with my family, the pizzas were already at their table and my family were eating their pizzas. I sat down and a different staff member from across the restaurant said in a loud voice "No outside food. You can't eat that in here." I then turned to her and said "Are you telling me I cannot eat with my own family even though you didn't have a gluten-free pizza as you advertised?!" She completely ignored me and went and got her manager. Her manager then approached me and told me to stop yelling (I wasn't yelling) and that it was a restaurant policy that I couldn't eat outside food inside. I told her that I allowed my family to still purchase 3 pizzas from her establishment despite them not having the gluten-free pizza as they advertised and that it would be kind of her to allow me to still eat with my family. She told me again, no, and that there was a "sign" stating this rule. I then told her I was going to leave them a bad review for the trouble they're causing us, paying customers. She then said she will allow it this one time, but that's not fair that I leave them a bad review. Very sad that paying customers, who are being treated poorly, have to threaten with a bad review to get better service. I didn't eat their pizza, but I asked my husband and family if their pizza was any good. They all said it was just OK, and that for the price it cost as well as the poor customer service, there is not reason to ever return. Find yourself better pizza and better restaurant with kinder staff over this place. I highly recommend the restaurant next door, Station 66, that I purchased my food from. They had multiple gluten-free options, were very kind and more than accommodating, and it was delicious.
Excellent pad Thai! The portion was HUUUGE! The server was a bit inexperienced, but very very kind and reassuring when discussing about my dietary need ( I'm celiac so i need to avoid gluten and cross contamination with it) i felt good after that so all was good:)
Decent food. Great wine menu. Offer a gluten free cider beer on tap. Little eccentric on mask policy (e.g., wear mask at table when server approaches).
Mostly gluten free options for gluten intolerant people! (Not for Celiac). Their gluten free noodles are homemade and AMAZING. You can't tell the difference. I had the chicken Alfredo and it hit the spot. Also, they're very military friendly! Always a plus. Hubby had the wheat noodle, Buffalo mac n cheese. No pics because he cleaned the plate. Nuff said. Their Prickly Pear Cider was great too!
Excellent food and service. The chef was very attentive to gluten-free and dairy-free needs. He modified his jerk chicken to be safe to eat, with grilled vegetables and onions, and rice. It's very well priced as well. I would definitely eat here again.
Tried the 10” Pepperoni Pizza & it was amazing! I was a little unsure about the gluten free cauliflower crust, but I couldn’t tell the difference. The service was outstanding, and the pizza was hot & fresh.
Totally dialed in with tons of covered outdoor areas. Incredible BBQ. Understood our gluten free questions and steered us in the right direction. Super friendly hostess. Want to come back on the weekend for live music. Lots of games for people play outdoors. Tons of spots to sit. I imagine the weekends are packed and it get harder to sit but our visit was perfect.
El Corral on 66 was TOP QUALITY! I’ve eaten Mexican food for many years and I live right by super authentic Mexican restaurants and spots, and I was blown away to travel to a tiny town with such good Mexican food! Our server was super friendly, she was very attentive and kind. I had a carne asada burrito with half green and half red sauce, the steak was top quality, super delicious, and the whole experience was lovely. My girlfriend is gluten free and vegan and she had plenty of protein in her meal, we love restaurant that can accommodate her restrictions. Thank you for the wonderful food and experience!
I was part of a fairly large group, we had good service and the the food was reasonably priced. They accommodated my dietary restrictions. (Vegetarian, gluten-free, bean-free)
I highly recommend this place! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but our waiter, who was the owner, was so helpful and attentive from the moment we sat down. The restaurant doesn’t have a set menu and changes daily with the ingredients they have which was a really neat idea. I have a very bad gluten allergy but I felt confident ordering with the help of the waiter. Definitely eat here if you’re in the area!!
