Having several food allergies, this was easily the most seamless, delicious, healthy dining experience I had. There were plenty of amazing options.
I got the gluten free air-fried chicken parm with squash spaghetti noodles, a lemon tart, and a lavender matcha latte. My husband got blueberry pancakes, steak&eggs, yogurt fruit parfait, and we split a strawberry arugula salad. The dessert and drinks weren’t too sweet and the food was yummy. Our waiter Craig, did an amazing job making recommendations on items to try.
I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go out to eat while making conscious health choices, actively trying to avoid inflammatory foods and seed oils, or with food sensitivities/allergies.

We ended up here on a whim the day of the fall festival. It was crowded but we were seated very quickly. The service was great and was completely unaffected by how packed it was. They had gluten free options available (even dessert, which is rare). I had a BLT on a gluten free bun AND a gluten free strawberry shortcake. I will absolutely be back.
We are not from the area and we're traveling through. We ended up not being able to stop for dinner until 11:00 p.m. on a Sunday night. Good luck finding anywhere to eat at that time!! West End Grill was one of the few places that was open. I have a severe gluten allergy, and they had a separate gluten-free menu and separate gluten-free fryer. I got the burger with no bun and hand cut homemade French fries. It was awesome! My husband had the homemade jalapeno poppers and bought another order to go. They were amazing! For being a Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. the place is actually pretty packed, and the service was great! I'm so glad we were able to find the West End Grill and definitely will go there again on our way through the area. Highly recommend!
My friend and I had a late lunch while seated at the bar today. I have celiac disease, and the bartender got me their gluten free menu and went over some menu highlights with me. He was really great and made me feel very comfortable ordering here.
I love this store and the concept. Eat Sprout has an ample variety of delicious pre-made local/organic/gluten free meals you can take home and quickly heat up (if necessary). Super easy and convenient! Tonight I had the Southwest Turkey & Quinoa w/street corn w/lime crema and it was delicious! They have bunch of delicious and clean snacks. You can get meals made there for breakfast/lunch/dinner, fruit smoothies, and coffee drinks. They also have a nice selection of bottled fruit drink blends, teas, etc. in varying sizes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. The store hours are great- seven days a week. There needs to be a lot more places like this!!
Hot and fresh gluten-free donuts! Not sure about cross-contamination but you can choose any of the flavor combos they offer for the donuts. One donut is the perfect size for a little treat!
I took my family tonight for restaurant week. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server came over quickly and was attentive but not too much. The menu was extensive and the choices were outstanding. My young grandson was with us who needed a gluten free option. The server was able to help with an excellent option. The food was great as was the service. We all highly recommend Luna Blu and we will be going back again in the near future.
Our gluten free wedding cake was out of this world delicious!!! I have never had a better gluten free cake as amazing as yours! Thank you Blue Crab Cupcakes!!!
We usually go to the location in Hunt Valley, but happened to be in Annapolis yesterday. I'm gluten intolerant, and I have zero issues with their cauliflower crust. This location was not very clean. The seats were full of crumbs, and there was food splattered on the wall in our booth. I didn't find the Margherita pizza as good....way too much cheese. And the Caesar salad dressing tasted odd...compared to what I'm used to. Out of caution, I didn't eat the salad because I know there is no gluten in the dressing at Hunt Valley. And this tasted and looked more like Thousand Island dressing. Our server was great. But I won't go back.
Great breakfast before taking the Jeep on the beach. I had the chicken and biscuit breakfast sandwich with the chorizo gravy. My wife had the gluten free cinnamon roll pancakes. Very delicious, great view and everyone was friendly. First time, great find!
This place is great. The food is amazing and so is the service. For gluten free, they have many options - including the Brazilian cheese bread. The salad bar items are marked for which are GF.
Our gaucho Robert went above and beyond to make sure we had plenty of the meat we were interested in. We received excellent service from everyone else as well. I highly recommend this place. Just be prepared to leave full.
Very good coffee, I find their espresso based options especially good, nothing is overly sweet (I've had Almond Joy, hazelnut, and another I can't remember). The chix salad is very good, breakfast sandwiches have lots of options for cheese and protein, and they serve the best gluten free roll I've ever tried.
The only minor negative is the eggs for sandwiches are cooked in the microwave, they are tasty nonetheless.
They do a very brisk order online-n-pickup business and I actually love it. I wish I lived near this terrific local coffeehouse chain, but I was visiting the area for several weeks and visited the Annapolis and Crownsville locations multiple times.
Gluten free! I find myself in the shopping center a lot out of food options so tried this spot. I got the Aloha chicken and they were extremely nice in making the pineapple grilled instead of battered and taking the soy sauce away. The best part was the gluten free bread, it was the best I’ve had in Annapolis. Can’t wait to go back and try some more.
Our server, Erin, made us feel like we were not a burden even though 5/6 of us were gluten free and three of us have celiac disease, typically rendering eating out very unsafe, if not impossible. Rafael, the chef on duty that day, came to talk to us and custom made pretty much all of our meals to ensure they were celiac safe. I want to shout from the rooftops so other celiacs will give Maggianos a try. It only took about 20 minutes for our food to come out, too. Custom made celiac safe Mac and cheese and he even made a custom sauce so that the chicken piccata would be safe for me (I have celiac and a corn sensitivity). I was so impressed and we all left feeling like it was a life changing experience to have such a nice restaurant to be able to go to when we want to go out to dinner. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Maggianos Annapolis! We will be back over and over!!!
Enjoyed a wonderful evening of food & wine with family during Annapolis Restaurant Week. Service & food ( Rest.Wk Menu) 5🌟...pleasant, efficient service. Food freshness & delicious variety of choices. Gluten-free bread option was available upon request.
Chocolate Dulce fondue desserts were yum yum yum!
Plan on 2 to 2.5 hours of conversation while enjoying your 4 course meal. Checkout their menu - so many choices! We loved it all & recommend it.
Overall a great option if you're in the area. Very knowledgeable about what was gluten free. Lots of different meal options available. We sat outside which was nice given the weather. I got a steak and eggs bowl and my husband got the Rock fish.
I gotta give this place a review! The management team is absolutely phenomenal!! We’ve ordered takeaway from this location multiple times, and even though the first 2 times the orders did get somewhat messed up, the team did right by us, were very accommodating and fixed everything right away.
My husband also has a severe gluten allergy, and this is one of the only places in the Annapolis area we feel safe eating! When I call to place an order and ask for a manager, they are *so* incredibly kind and helpful even though our food has to be prepared in a very specific way. I know in food service it can be a pain to deal with customers who have such specific requests to make sure the food isn’t cross-contaminated, but they go above & beyond for us every time to make sure our food is prepared safely, correctly & deliciously! I can’t say enough great things about Holly, Sarah and the rest of the team. Great food, and even better people. Thank you guys so much!
And for anyone else that has celiac or a gluten allergy, knowing it can be nearly impossible to find safe & reliable places to eat - this is your spot!
When it's lunch time, the wait in line can be s-l-o-w.
I waited 20 min last visit. Pizza is tasty & fresh with ample choices including gluten crust & dairy free cheese. Pleasant employees working there. Seating is comfortable. Recommended.
Don't come here if you have food allergies. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and was hoping this place would be safe since they have menu items marked gluten free and had heard things about them using separate fryers. When I came in, I made the waitress aware of my allergies and ordered a salad and the sampler platter. I wasn't sure which of the sides would be safe to eat with my entree, so I checked with the waitress and after some hesitation she agreed to check with the kitchen, came back and said the potato salad would be fine. Not too long into eating my meal, I started to have a reaction, and now, (next day) I am debilitated from whatever contamination was in the food. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.
Be very cautious if you have gluten allergies, because the waiters here clearly do not care if you do. We specifically asked for a gluten-free appetizer, and said that we were gluten-free, but when we ordered our appetizer, which had a gluten free option, somehow we got the non-gluten free version of it. If you decide to eat here with a gluten allergy make sure to specify your dietary needs.
Expensive, but very well-stocked with vegan and gluten-free options, which I appreciate. If you're disappointed with the gliten-free bread selection in the bakery area, walk around the corner into the aisle two rows in from the bakery - the other gluten-free breads are in a freezer there. :)
The food was hit or miss. 4 adults and 1 child had dinner there. 2 meals were not very good at all the others were ok. Of course the cheesecake was rich but good and I was happy they had 1 type that was gluten free.
Ordered a sandwich on GF bread online, an employee called to inform me that their usual side for sandwiches (bagel chips) contained gluten & asked what alternative side I’d like!! Entire staff was very pleasant! I wish I remembered the name of the girl who had called, great customer service
the food is good, our Italian friend always wants to go here and says it's as authentic as you get around there. ive only been for lunch a handful of time but its usually not crowded. some vegetarian options, not many vegan or gluten free.
We have been satisfied diners at the Carrol's Creek Cafe for several years now. We drive almost an hour to reach their location in Annapolis, so it is always a special treat for us. Their convenient parking is a breeze, but do make sure you have your parking ticket validated. Their red wine onion soup is one of our favorites, with a rich flavorful broth, but not as salty as other versions of onion soup, well worth a try. Their seasonal citrus and beet salad is my personal salad selection, if it is not available, the Carrol Creeks salad is also quite good. Their infrequent offering of soft shell crab appetizer is described as "whale sized" by the waiter but in actuality is quite modest and smaller than we would have liked for the price. Their entree selection is good, we usually go with the specials offered that evening. Their poached grouper was perfectly prepared with a moist tender texture that was excellent, the lemongrass flavoring was delicious. Their desert menu is worth a look. The Expresso creme brulee is highly recommended, their ice cream is rich and creamy with crafted flavors, the flour less chocolate cake (gluten free) is also very nice. We visit Carrol's Creek Cafe on special occasions and would visit more often if we were nearer! A great place to dine and relax with a view of the boats in the marina.
Excellent food. The spiced rice was brilliant, especially with garlic sauce. Am vegetarian gluten free; so the falafel with spiced rice and a little garlic sauce: brilliant!
We walked in late last night because I noticed they had gluten free (GF) and vegan pizza. The owner greeted us when we walked in and was very excited to make my pizza when he found out I was vegan/GF. He was proud of the level of care and compliance they adhere to when making allergy friendly options. He told us TropQ stands for “Ty’s Recipes Zero (0) Preservatives Quality.” The vegan cheese was outstanding - melted like a real cheese pizza! I will say that the thin GF crust was charred on the outside but soft on the inside, so each slice was a bit “floppy” when you picked it up. But it tasted very good. We will definitely be back!
Love sitting at the bar! The best service. We love the pizza and they have a gluten free cauliflower crust option. The bartenders make you feel at home and have the best recommendations when you can use a little help. Monday night pizza night!
Their Gluten free Lemon poppy muffin was delicious & moist & quite large! They also had GF breakfast bowls & a GF Jam Bar that's big & looks yummy 😋 (haven't eaten it yet but looking forward to it!)
The woman at the counter was friendly, very efficient & helpful. And the place looks really nice.
And the prices were good!
I was really happy with the personal pizza I ordered, especially being that it was gluten free too 👏 I couldn't help but to order an afogatto with a chocolate gelato mixed in 😵💫

We have recently rediscovered Noodles and Company and it has become a go-to for our family. Their variety of options to include vegan and gluten free, makes it a place everyone can find something.
Sandwiches salads and soups are very good. I liked the Steak Sandwich on gluten free bread. It was warm enough to sit outside with a view of the harbor. The tuna salad was also very good and the local oysters were fresh.
Not the best experience. Waiter seemed annoyed and not very attentive. Food and drinks for 5 during early dinner rush but no excuses. Steak frites 4/5. Fries over salted but very fresh. Steak undersalted and relatively small portion. Steak and salad 3/5. Over dressed with cheese and breadcrumbs, something I wouldn’t expect from a restaurant that is definitely chef inspired. Lamb was excellent 5/5, creative and well executed. Waiter forgot wine during dinner and needed to be reminded. Made an excuse then poured it himself at the bar. Cleared table in a rushed manner and spilled sesame oil from a quickly moved plate all over my shorts, didn’t apologize and brought club soda to do what? Also, they’re claiming gluten free offering but not even slightly true. Should say GF*. No dedicated fryer so cross contamination is a thing.
My niece and nephew secured the first floor of this exquisite venue for my brother and sister-in-law's surprise 40th-anniversary celebration on June 1st. The catering was exceptional, featuring delectable hamburger and chicken sliders, vegetable egg rolls with a spicy honey glaze, shrimp dip, and outstanding gluten-free brownies. The service was exemplary, with attentive and friendly staff who catered to all guests, particularly our senior attendees. The bartenders were equally professional and skilled. The event far exceeded our expectations; it deserves a rating of ten 🌟, though the maximum allowed is five.
Brown Mustache Coffee is a true hidden gem in Annapolis. Located inside Old Fox Books, this café offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a great cup of coffee and a good book.
The coffee is outstanding, with special options like the Lavender Latte and Honey Almond Latte, both perfectly balanced in flavor. They also offer baked goods, including gluten-free options, which is a nice touch.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Plus, the back patio is a charming spot to enjoy your coffee outdoors.
While the indoor space is a bit small and the food menu is somewhat limited, the quality of the coffee and the unique atmosphere more than make up for it.
My husband and I had an amazing dining experience while visiting Annapolis. Both managers Mike and Nick were so friendly and accommodating. Our waitress Taylor provided excellent service and offered great suggestions from the menu. I loved that they had their own gluten free / vegan menu. There were so many choices and my meal was perfection. There is something for everyone. My husband loved his meal and made room for a delicious dessert. The service was fast , the atmosphere great and the staff was top notch . We are already talking about going back tomorrow. :)

We found this in the Find Me Gluten Free app when looking for somewhere to get lunch on a Sunday. The people were so nice and they really understand gluten free. I had a tuna salad sandwich on Gluten Free bread, which was delicious. The bread was tasty and the tuna was definitely homemade and delicious. They also have a separate case with gluten free dessert items.
