Summit pizza I have say, has some absolutely amazing gluten free options for my Celiac girlfriend. We love coming to this place because they have really good food imo. However, over the last year, we’ve decided to order and pick up from the LS location instead of doing dine in most of the time. That has caused a lot of issues with our online orders. For example, we order the same thing every Saturday/sunday, every weekend for about a year. And they have not, ONE TIME, made the order correctly. I understand it happens sometimes, we are all human I get that. But these cooks must be blind because I have not had a single order be correct. We order the GF garlic bread, every single time I double check it, it’s gonna be cheese bread instead. Without a doubt in my mind these people will make your online order wrong. Same thing with the pizza. We get a GF Summit stockyard and half the time it comes out as a supreme pizza… 😂. It’s not like they get it right so it’s hard to give them grace at this point. Great food great people, but if you order online good luck getting what you ordered, you are gonna have to wait an extra 10-15 for your actual order.
Its counter service, but its the asian Chipotle with amazing benefits of being both All Safe Gluten-free, and vegan options not just vegetarian. And some of the best Korean BBQ, and spicy chicken I have ever had.
Never a bad experience here. I usually come once a week or so and I'm always happy with whichever latte I choose. The burritos are simple but absolutely delicious and they have a nice choice of gluten free things for my wife who has Celiac. Will continue to frequent this location!
While visiting the area it was suggested this Texas family try Jack Stack. We enjoyed this BBQ and would go back again if in the area. We were able to successfully eat gluten free, while not celiac I do have to consider cross contamination and did not get sick.
Have loved Xaboo Mephaa since before their restaurant! I have celiac disease and never get sick from cross contamination. Aside from that, the food is delicious. The spicy tomatillo salsa has so much flavor - I always order the same thing and it never disappoints.
Amazing gluten free pizza however the gf cheese bread sticks while tasted good were a tad bit dry and crunchier crust compared to the gf pizza. It tasted as if the gf pizza had cheesy end crust. I wish the gf bread sticks were the same way. (The appetizer)
Nocked 1 star off atmosphere because the TV wall had 1 crooked TV and drove my OCD crazy 😂
This is the place if you want a gluten free alternative or just good food! Been coming here since they opened. It’s our families FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT!
We love coming here. Food is always excellent, no matter the season. I love how the menu changes for the seasons. Servers are so kind and knowledgeable about gluten free options. If it's warm, and they have outside seating, sometimes there's live music. It's a nice touch, but does make it hard to have a conversation.
Have been getting food delivered a few times and honestly it's always amazing with faster delivery time than estimated.
It's the little things like remembering a fork even when I forgot to ask for one 🫶 and the gluten free option is a huge plus!
Great place to watch a game and hang out. Server on the patio was funny, kind, and efficient. He took great care of us and was awesome with kids. Food was great. Their gluten free options are delicious.

They were well staffed and the staff was really friendly. The food was fresh and hot! They literally have something for everyone! They have low carb, gluten sensitive, vegetarian and tons of pasta choices! The service is very fast too!
Incredibly fresh and flavorful authentic indigenous Mexican food. Tamales and picaditas (thin savory corn cake, open faced with toppings like a street taco) were outstanding. Service was fast, friendly, and answered all our questions. We are always looking for authentic, high-quality Mexican food and we found it at the Xaboo Mephaa. Gluten free options available.
They have many gluten-free and vegan options, which is so hard to find!
Each of the cookies have been gluten-free and dairy free and is clearly marked in front of the items. they’ve been able to answer my questions about different drinks, including what contains dairy since they make a lot of syrups themselves. Thank you so much for marking your drinks to state what is gluten-free and vegan it takes so much guest work out of ordering, which can be such a struggle with allergens.
They have a very nice Gluten Free menu and knowledgeable servers. I had the Caesar salad with steak and it was fabulous! The steak was cooked perfectly and the salad was delicious (and I'm kind of a Caesar salad snob.) My only disappointment was that they did not have Holidaily Beer, which they have at their other location on the East side of the state, further away from the brewery! But they do have nice wine, so that was OK. They do have GF Ciders, but Ciders are not beer....
My husband had the Shepard's Pie and loved it, which is saying a lot because he is always searching for a good Shepard's Pie.
We will be back
I have been here a couple times and when it's busy it can be hard to find a seat, but the coffee is great! They have a lot of food and snack options.
They have gluten-free options and dairy free milk options as well!
A friend and I decided to eat lunch here on a whim. The food was delicious. We both tried the house dressing and loved it. In fact we were dipping our bread in the left-over dressing afterward! Oh, and the bread was wonderful. My friend was pleased to have gluten free options. As soon as we sat down and even before ordering she said, "This is going to be good, I can smell the garlic and herbs in the air." Prices were also very reasonable.
The decor was sweet and the food was delicious, but it was so loud at around 7-8 pm that I could hardly hear my friends talk! My friend also noted that his burger bun seemed just like the premade ones at grocery stores. Our waiter I think was quite overloaded too so we had some difficulty flagging him down. That said, they graciously accommodated my gluten allergy and I left with a happy belly (and no leftovers)!
Awful customer service and awful food once I got home with my to go order! I made an order around 5:40pm, for pickup up of 7:30pm, arrived right around that time and they were still making the food. There were also 6 people waiting in front of me to get their food as well and the staff was moving like snails and had no care in the world!! One customer even walked out because of how long his wait was! Once I got my food, I walked out and got home to: soggy, wet bread and wrong sandwiches that were very clearly stated on the order. I also ordered a gluten free sandwich and specifically put on my order: change gloves, no cheese, cut in 1/2….none of that was followed and I’m extremely sensitive with Crohn’s and Celiac disease!! My family and I will NEVER return to this location, as it looks like Samantha the manager doesn’t give a damn, per their responses on others posts. Samantha if you cared at all about how your store is ran, maybe you’d ask people to call you, so you can make it right and fix the problem!! I worked in a restaurant similar to this for 4 years when I was a teenager and never had these issues!
Absolute spur of the moment decision to stop by here with my "American" Grandma, who lives nearby🥰, as we drove past. This spot is obviously new, as we've never noticed it on the rear of Cedar Creek mall before May this year.
Because it was a sudden choice to check out the place, I was hoping for some bar food options. There were more pizza options on the menu (which is understandable as they are, in fact, a pizzeria), so we just both got salads.
I initially requested the breaded eggplant. However, they were out of stock of eggplant for a month, our server had mentioned. I'd remove it from the menu temporarily if it's been out for a while, yes?
For a bar, Redbull sugar-free is pretty common, so I'm hoping they'd start carrying that option soon, too.
Atmosphere: Clean, immaculate kitchen ( I could see through the swinging doors each time they'd open), which for a pizzeria/pub operating for 2 months is impressive. Clean floors, counters tables, etc. Please stay this way, PaPPo's!
Service: Top notch. Smiles, clear calm voice, explained options, checked on us within reasonable intervals, owner visit to table speaks volumes to the overall welcoming atmosphere of the place.
Food: Grandma said hers was delicious. I had subbed for a basic ceaser when they didn't have my first option available, so I barely "ate" mine.
Price: Reasonable
Perhaps on a next visit, I'll discover more about the menu, in terms of gluten-free or vegetarian.
Safe food selections were made today, but I'll definitely have an updated review for a follow-up visit😆.
If you're in Lee's Summit ( or not lol), this is a great spot for hanging with the family, watching a game with buddies, chatting with groups outside in veranda, or even for a date. Go support this promising venue😉👊💪🙌
It's not your typical sandwich shop but the round jalapeno sour do with fresh meat and veggies and sauce are excellent! Plus they have a gluten sensitive bun option as well!
Where to begin. The place looks nice on the inside and out. From there, they tried seating us at some weird table stacked along side another table by the fireplace. No one could sit on the inside because the tables were so close together. Not only that, the people that were sitting on the outside were so far out in the isle that no one could walk by without rubbing against you. Then you throw in the fact that the fire was on and the table was touching the fireplace. It was so hot, you couldn’t even eat there. It’s the single dumbest layout of seating I’ve ever seen in my life. We ordered some margaritas once they finally moved our seats after telling us no twice. Our drinks showed up no less than 15 minutes after we ordered. We had to ask for absolutely everything. Napkins, straws, etc. the server had no clue what was in the drinks. Nor did she care. She barely spoke at a level you could hear her. There wasn’t a single person working there that looked like they even wanted to be there. Poor attitudes from every staff member. The drinks finally showed up after asking about them. And they were the most bland margaritas I’ve ever had in my life. The food might be the worst part of the entire experience. We had 3 meals, 1 being gluten free due to allergies. They have a gluten free section, so we ordered a meal from there. It was 100% not gluten free. So now we are dealing with gluten issues, to go along with the horrible service and the horrible food. You literally could not pay me to ever eat here again.
I have a gluten allergy. I have eaten there often and I have been extremely happy. The Omelettes are yummy. The best part is that I do not have to explain what gluten is. The staff is awesome. We love the food and the customer service.
More than anything I just want to say thank you to the staff, and especially Randy, for accommodating my family and my daughter who has a couple severe allergies. Randy made sure to double and triple check there wouldn't be cross-contamination, knew what was gluten free and wasn't, and was very patient and graceful about it all. Thanks!
Great breakfast. Love that they have gluten free friendly items. Plus getting the lingonberry toppings on the gluten free pancake was delicious. Rosa was our server and she is amazing. Very sweet and friendly and so attentive to our needs. I would come back just to experience her delightful service again.
Good food. They have gluten free egg bites and they were large and filling. They also had three choices for sugar free syrup, and it didn't bother my tummy. The only downside was not much privacy, but it was an enjoyable place to sit and catch up with a friend.
Drinks were never empty, amazing server who helped find food for my wife with celiacs, and the cinnamon rolls are like chips and salsa. Oh my god they are amazing.
Best indoor playground facility to find in this area. I love to get some time to recharge with their delicious coffee while my kids get to play.
You can bring your own snack for the kids but they also have yummy snack and food options for your little ones. Gluten free nuggets are my firstborn's favorite here.
