I love Palio's - the Mediterranean is my favorite & Mom likes the Hawaiian. They have good beer & wine and a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. This was a great experience for us. We have 2 little kids (under 3). The staff was friendly and gave our oldest 2 stickers. They mentioned one was of the truck outside, so we had to get a picture with it after the meal.
We had 2 baked potatoes. One chicken, the other was brisket. Both meats were great on their own. The bbq sauce was really great as well. Most everything here, except the deserts, were gluten-free (gf). We would definitely go back.

Cute pizzeria and bar. We dined in on a weekday at 230pm. They were not busy at all. We were excited for gluten free and vegan cheese options.
The waitress took my order for a sausage/red pepper pizza on GF cauliflower crust. The pizza that came out was not on GF crust. She apologized and went to have it remade, then came back and said, "By the way, our sausage is not gluten free."
I had to find something else and reorder. It took an additional 25-30 minutes (as to be expected with wood fired pizza). The pizza came out loaded with toppings (great!) but because they rushed it out to me, the crust was sadly soggy. I ate it anyway because my family was waiting on me.
I was a little disappointed when we got the check and the full charge for my pizza was on the bill, not really anything to try to make up for the mistake and the additional time we spent waiting. I guess times are tough.
I was going to give 3 stars, but they made up for it by offering dairy free cheese and my dairy allergy son was able to enjoy pizza with the rest of us. That's a rare gem.
They also have a gluten free flourless chocolate cake on the menu that is to die for. So, needless to say, I'd visit again.

Got to try out the upstairs bar tonight. I think the bartender's name was Otis. He was incredibly talented and knew the exact recipe for everything that was thrown his way. The bar itself didn't have the largest selection, but it was incredibly well balanced with a good selection of gins, tequilas, and amaros. Not the usual Amarillo issue of an absolutely stacked bourbon selection and next to nothing else. Major kudos to Otis and whomever put together their bar program
I had one of their pizzas but I forget what it's called. It's the hot honey, candied jalapeno, and pepperoni pizza. It's a fun spin on a proven flavor profile, and the candied jalapenos are the best thing ever. This place has one of the only gluten free crust options in town that isn't some weird cauliflower health thing. It actually tasted like bread. I just wish the pizza was either cooked longer or hotter (preferably hotter). The cheese was barely melted and the pepperonis seemed to be the type that cup when cooked, but most laid uncooked and flat.
Nit picks aside, this is the only place in town to get a decent gluten free pizza with a Fernet and coke. Excellent.

I went in here today after lunch at Chicken Salad Chick and I was so pleased at the smell as soon as you walk in. They have a vast selection of cookies, macaroons and other goodies. Not only does this place have a great atmosphere (light and warm) the cookies and macaroons were everything i hoped they would be. The Macaroons were light and savory and the cookies have the perfect slight crunch to them. They basically melted in my mouth. I have never felt better after eating sweets. Im not weighed down and feeling miserable from a sugar overload. I'm definitely coming back when I come to Amarillo. They are pricier than you would anticipate but for the experience you get when you enjoy the sweets it is definitely worth it. Also, the cookies are huge. Like almost 4 in. In diameter.

Here's the thing... I have lived here almost two years without knowing they have gluten free bagels & bread! My FIL wanted to try something different, so I called.
We have eaten here twice & I have not had any CC symptoms. The GF bagel is fantastic. (I haven't tried the bread yet.) They use Boars Head for sandwiches, so I will have to try it sometime soon.
