This is my new hangout! Not only do they offer great choices for gluten intolerant folks, but they have the best bartenders in town! Best Piña Coladas I ever tasted! My husband enjoyed the calzones and margaritas very much as well. We will be back, and often, especially since it's near his work.
In town with family and didn’t know if there was a place I could eat safely since I am gluten, dairy etc “free”. Found this place on a gluten free app and my family lovingly decided to try it out so I could join them in a meal. Had to do take out with time constraints in mind. Service was A+. Shocking and unexpected that EVERYONE loved their food. My mom was concerned about not eating “badly” while in town and she was so pleased. She even said that it was the best meal she has had in a long long while. Everything was absolutely delicious. Three of us had the same meal choice and we all devoured it.
I have to have gluten-free noodles so ordered the spaghetti Bolognese but when my husband brought it home, I had bravo pasta, which was not gluten-free. So we called and Chris said that he would remake my order. It tasted delicious. It was very nice that they remade the correct order since it’s not healthy for me to eat regular pasta. All in all it was a good experience.

When vacationing, we love to explore local eateries. We were excited to try Aqua and that set high expectations. And Aqua Exceeded every one!! Aqua is not inexpensive and I did not want my guests to feel the need to order based on cost. Staff printed "blind menus" just for my party of 6. Very kind. First "win" for the team. Sat down at sunset, indoors over looking the sound...spectacular view. Win number two. Service was fantastic! Waiter knew foods and how there were prepared and able to make acco.modate two gluten and one dairy allergy. Win number three. Drinks were even better than their descriptions...I LOVED my King Richard and the Pear Martini was sublime. Win number four. Apps were amazingly presented, delicious and good for sharing amongst a party of 6. Crab chowder, scallop ceviche, Banging Shrimp, Truffle Fries...all superb. Win number five. And then dinner comes out. No list of adjectives will suffice! Local Red Snapper, Shrimp and Grits, Sirloin cooked perfectly...Every one loved every bite. Win number five. Desserts including sorbet, ice cream, peanut butter pie (OMG) and Key Lime pie delicious and not too sweet...just perfect. Win number six!
We have been to many places but I do not ever recall a finer meal. Aqua was a perfect evening and worth every penny paid...and then some!

Ngl I was extremely pleasantly surprised. Where I’m from in the north east is known for having good donuts. I’ve lived in North Carolina for years and that’s one thing I’ve never found down here is a good donut. Hendough is awful, grandads cider donuts are ok, and mcfarlenes donuts are ok. I dare say these donuts are good. good donut should be soft, not to dense not to bready or dry, but almost cakey in texture, tender and moist. The donuts were pleasantly glazed and not overpowered by the glaze. My wife told me to try their donuts and I was critical however these are the best donuts I’ve had here. And gluten free and dairy free is just surprising. Making good gf food feels almost impossible. But yes this place is good and for sure deserves five stars.
If you’re looking for an Ethiopian restaurant, you’re in for a treat! They offer gluten-free Injera made with teff, which is a fantastic option. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu, so feel free to let them know you want the 100% Injera made with teff. Plus, there’s a delicious vegan option available right on the menu.
Enjoy your meal!
We stopped in Greensboro on our journey back to Durham and we had chai here. We also ordered dinner to go. The chai was great except that is was not hot enough. We also had dessert on the spot. The serving size was rather small and left my daughter wanting another bowl. Besides that, the taste of both the rice pudding and rasmalai was great. The service was great and they answered all of my questions related to my daughters gluten free restrictions. Now once we get home, will see how good the main dishes are, but until now, it was great experience. My one complaint however, is that the service took a bit more time than I expected considering that we only ordered 2 cups of chai and a rasmalai and rice pudding on the spot. And the time to make and pack the actual order also took much more time than expected.
If you want a comfortable place to eat delicious food, come to this homey restaurant! I’m only sad they close at 3:00!! Thank you, Incorrigible Cafe, though for providing a nice respite from the work day!
And the cookies are gluten free! Oh boy, are they soft and chewy!
Visited this location over the weekend and was shocked at their amazing service! Not only do they have a gluten free bread option, but it tastes amazing, and the quality of their service was amazing. I have an allergy to gluten and they went above and beyond to accommodate. From changing all of their gloves, wiping down the meat cutter, using an individually packaged sub roll, and making sure it didn't touch any cross contaminated surfaces. A HUGE thank you to the staff, and to Jersey Mike's for offering this option!
This Harris Teeter has a truly astounding selection of items. From Gluten free to Sugar free, a wine and beer selection that is better than most bars, a daily hot range of foods available ready to be eaten, a bakery larger than some grocery stores, a seafood section to rival the ocean itself, to a flower selection that would make some jungles green with envy. The last time I checked this location was heralded as the world's largest Harris Teeter and it absolutely lives up to its name. The pharmacy is always running smoothly and well staffed as well. There is more of everything than you think there would be, and when you turn, you find even more. It also has its own coffee shop and small diner area. While the prices aren't exactly the most competitive, you can't beat it for selection. 10/10, and then an extra 1 for range of items alone.
Went for lunch and as always, they delivered great sushi in a timely manner. There aren't many places to go to in Hampstead, especially if you're gluten free, but Sushi Gem always delivers great food and decent service. We go there ALOT, and are so grateful to have them in town.

I moved to Wilmington a year ago and haven’t been able to say enough about how kind and pleasant EVERYONE is in this town....that was until I went to Lovey’s. Any time I’ve ever been to this store, I’ve had a negative experience because the owner/employees are SO RUDE but this last time was the WORST. It was so bad and (always) so unwarranted and I was so embarrassed by the way they were talking to me and what they were saying (in front of many other customers) that I dropped everything I had picked up to purchase, walked right out the door and I will never, EVER go back. It’s a real shame because I love this store and would have shopped there forever but they’ve permanently lost my business and, make no mistake, THEY DONT CARE - that’s just obvious.
Secondly I went into Lovey’s 3 times between December 2020 and January 2021 and all 3 times, not a single employee was wearing a mask. On my first visit, I made a comment about their lack of mask wearing and/or sanitation supplies, especially around the buffet, and the cashier told me she was “sorry I felt that way” with an attitude and had nothing else to say on the matter. On my 2nd visit, I made another comment and was told that if I want an employee to wear a mask, all I need to do is ask.... WHAT?!?!
Given that this is a health food store, I am extremely disappointed and appalled at the lack of attention being paid to health and safety measures during this pandemic. Not only do the employees not wear masks, but neither do a lot of the customers and if you happen to be lucky enough to see an employee “wearing” one, it’s a guarantee you’ll find it to be tucked under their chin or nose. Just a warning - if you have anything to say about it, you will be met with extreme rudeness and a nasty attitude.
It’s very obvious that the owner of this store and her employees have zero knowledge of customer service, zero regard for their customer’s health/safety and definitely show zero appreciation for their customers in general.
After reading a bunch of reviews online, I am realizing that many people have been treated exactly as I was treated, on multiple occasions, also for no reason whatsoever and most of them also mentioned the lack of mask wearing and concern for the lack of any health/safety measures in the store. Many people have also stated in their review that they’ll never go back, mostly because of how rude everyone is that works in the store, namely the owner. You’d think Lovey’s would get the hint and step up their game but the negative reviews don’t seem to faze them at all. Instead I noticed the owner conveniently only replies to the good reviews and blatantly ignores the negative ones.
We’d all be better off spending our money at a different local establishment that would appreciate and benefit from our business, especially while so many of them are suffering under the current circumstances. At least I know I’ll be helping GOOD people and while spending my hard-earned money, I’ll be met with kindness, appreciation and general human decency! It’s amazing to me that Lovey’s feels they have the right to behave the way they do and get away with it - they simply don’t deserve our business!
While Lovey’s might be the only local health food store, the bigger chains (such as Whole Foods and several other grocery stores) carry the exact same products Lovey’s does and, in most cases, for much less money. Whole Foods also has a hot and cold bar with organic and gluten-free options. They deliver and Amazon and other grocery delivery services deliver on their behalf as well. I’ll gladly be utilizing these options from now on if I can’t find another local health food store in the area.
Lots of variety in the menu items and gluten sensitive items were indicated on the menu. Our server was polite and professional and a very chill guy - perfect amount of attention and allowing us to dine in peace - great combination. We had riblets, mashed potatoes, fries, and steak and all had great flavor.
Great ramen place! We each had something different and all were amazing. They even have gluten free noodles which I was grateful for. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
I am celiac so can’t have gluten and I loved how they had a gluten free/allergy menu! I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was amazing!! I told her I was gluten free and she showed me the GF menu. I ordered my sushi rolls and made the changes needed. She advised the cooks about the allergy & made sure that when my food wasn’t correct, it was redone to make sure I could eat it. I’ve never had a server take such care & precaution, it was amazing!

I got a scoop of ice cream here and I was so impressed! I have a gluten intolerance and they looked at all the ingredients and even washed a scoop for me to avoid any cross contamination. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to me!
Can't ever get a Lowe's card & have to pay full price for things on sale because every time I've gotten a card & go to link it to my phone number the card is already been used. What a scam. Staff is OK, polite. But there have been multiple times where I have to prompt them for the rest of my groceries & have to always double check that they have bagged everything. There have been several times where I have missing items. Store is clean, closest grocery to my home, & the selection of gluten free & specialty items are the only reasons I continue to shop here.
Super yummy! Lacking 1 star because there aren't a wide variety of truly healthy side options (southern cooking to the T). I am a vegetarian, and the black bean burger is delicious. If you are truly vegetarian, just ask them to cook it on foil for you. You won't get a crispy exterior, but it won't have touched the same grill the meats are cooked on. The black bean burger isn't vegan (egg is used to bind the ingredients). My gluten free friend loves eating there because he can have a great burger, just gets it without the bun.
Always busy but quick and delicious! Also, accommodating to allergy needs and knowledgeable to ask questions to avoid issues. I have Celiac Disease and haven't had a problem with proteins and veggies with not sauce and white rice. I sometimes bring my own sauce to put on at the table. Very friendly staff!
