Used to love their breakfast burrito but they started refusing to serve it without the wrap even though I have celiac. There isn’t a comparable flavor profile in their gf options, sadly.

Absolutely incredible. Almost everything can be made gluten free and they’re very knowledgeable about celiac disease. Staff is super friendly. Best tacos in NY. Juan L. Is awesome

Celiacs beware: despite the entire menu being “gluten free,” I had a bad reaction afterwards. I’ve heard of similar experiences from others. What a shame given how delicious and awesome I thought this place would be right after eating it, but hopefully helping out others ahead of time with this review.
For anyone else, 5 stars!

Tried these cookies for the first time back in March and LOVED them so much. They were rich and gooey and everything I love in a thick chocolate chip cookie. I raved about them to every single person who was willing to listen. I live in SoCal and we have Levain there too, but I preferred funny face’s so much more. I knew I had to get it again the next time I was visiting the city. I finally returned today but for some reason the cookie was so dry and crumbly? I actually took two bites and tossed the rest. Now that I’m thinking about it, I feel like they might have given me a vegan or gluten free one on accident cause the consistency and texture were soo different. Either way, I’m sad and disappointed that I wasted my money and I can no longer say with confidence that this is my favorite cookie :/

My friend and I dined at Jean's on a Tuesday night. Our reservation was at 6:30PM - I'd suggest booking a reservation on the later side if you want a buzzier atmosphere. We both ordered the Ora King salmon for our main courses, alongside a side of the rainbow roasted carrots. I am dairy free and gluten free (my friend is Celiac), and I can confirm that both items were 100% dairy free and gluten free. If you want something light, flavorful, yet satiating, I highly recommend the salmon (melt in your mouth flaky perfection)! My only "critique" was that there weren't more fingerling potatoes accompanying the fish - I survived though. We opted against dessert, but both had a lovely cup of mint tea to end the meal. We're waiting for the day where the must-try cookie is gluten free! Service was kind, accommodating, and attentive. Would definitely return on a GNO, date night, and/or dip into the club downstairs on the weekends. If you're familiar with LA hot spots, I'd say Jean's = Craig's x Delilah with a New York twist.
