Delicious coffee spot in Hudson with a nice selection of coffees & teas. Along with gluten free pastries & more. There are unique gifts for special friends and family. Service is efficient, very friendly & quick on the made to order specialty drinks.
Sat down at our table and a server immediately came over to ask for my drink order. I did not have time to look at the menu yet and needed a minute. I wasn't sure whether I wanted an alcohol beverage or a fountain drink. The waitress scoffed and came back to take my order.
I asked for a gluten free menu and was provided one. The toast was priced at $5.10 for two pieces of bread. That felt extreme but I wanted bread with my salad.
I ordered a Greek salad which was a generous size and was tasty.
The butter and jelly stand provided did not have enough butter in it and I asked a manager for some. This was met with what was perceived as annoyance for asking.
I think that it was fair to ask for butter for bread I was paying $5 for.
Our server did well with making sure my drink was filled but offered limited interaction. I don't feel like she spoke much to us until it was time to leave.
Based on this experience and the price on gluten free options, I don't think I'll be back. While I understand gluten free items cost more typically, that price gap for 2 pieces of bread was more than I've ever noted eating out gluten free.
Very complete menu with many options listed including your possible allergies, your choice of levels of vegan and gluten choices. Fairfield sorry for the waitress as she struggled to fulfill everybody's food idiosyncrasies.
Attended the Easter brunch and the food was delicious! They offered a large variety of foods, each of which was clearly labeled with information regarding gluten & dairy content for those with dietary needs.
The atmosphere was intimate and classy with the leather & wood booths. Bar is well-stocked. Staff was friendly and efficient, even with how busy it was.
Zeppe’s is one of our favorite places, whether it’s just the two of us or we’re with a group of friends. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. I’m gluten-free by necessity, and that can make dining out difficult; but Zeppe’s waitstaff and kitchen have never made me feel like a burden. Even though they don’t have a dedicated GF kitchen, they know how to take precautions and they are so welcoming to my dietary needs! Zeppe’s is an easy choice!!
My daughter is gluten free and they did an amazing job of avoiding cross contamination! I didn't even have to ask, I just informed them of her allergy.
100% recommend this place, especially for those with allergies!! They are extraordinarily careful and reassuring about no cross contaminations. Members of my group were allergic to nuts, celiac, and vegetarian and everybody’s food was delicious. The restaurant itself has a very nice atmosphere and staff is very friendly. Can’t recommend enough!!!!!!!
I just ate the best chili in Summit County. Chunky, beefy, nice balance of meat and beans, not overly sweet or spicy, not bland, not under-cooked, a little smokiness. Excellent. Whitey’s is now second best. We also had some delicious burgers, gluten-free pizza, bbq brisket fries, drinks. All good, friendly service. But this is the best chili in Summit County.
We met Cailee on this lovely Monday! She was awesome! Great beer selection, and gluten free cider/drink options as well. We didn’t try any food, BUT the portions we saw looked grand. Thanks Cailee for all the hospitality!! We will be back to see you again!
What a great place!!! I never knew I like balsamic vinegar in all of the great flavors they have. The gluten free pasta is also one of the best we have ever eaten
The walnut shrimp was excellent. The fried rice was delicious and so were the spring rolls. The staff was friendly and considerate. They accommodated my friend who is gluten intolerant. We will be back next time we are in town.
This place is great for either a casual lunch or a nice dinner date. The atmosphere feels nice without feeling pretentious. The place is very wheelchair accessible with on street parking. I had the lamb and the beet and goat cheese salad and they were both fantastic! They also had a great gluten free cake. I told my husband I was leaving a review and he said I only needed one word - yummy!
We recently worked with Good Grief! to bring in breakfast burritos for a work function. I was impressed with how quickly the owner, Jim, responded to my initial email inquiry. I actually worked with Jim's colleague Steve, who was AMAZING. Super nice, super helpful. We texted and spoke several times. We have a staff member who needed something gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free. Steve created a custom dish just for this staff member, which was DELICIOUS--as were all of the burritos! We ordered some of every variety and our staff loved them all. Steve had them ready and warm for us to pick up, at the time we had requested. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the food and the wonderful experience I had working with Good Grief! We will absolutely use them again and I highly recommend them.
I had the cod, and it was perfectly prepared. My spouse had the seafood risotto, and she enjoyed it. It is served in a parmesan crust shaped like a bowl, which was very tasty. I have to eat gluten free, and the server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with selecting good that was safe for me. I would also recommend the Mexican hot chocolate ice cream. It is a great balance of sweet, but with just a little kick from cayenne.
Stopped here on our way home from hiking in the valley. First time here and it was awesome. Beer and the pizza were both delicious. My husband really enjoyed the Snowed In Milk Stout. We also ordered a gluten free pizza and loved it! This place has a great causal atmosphere with an outdoor patio and friendly staff. We could immediately tell this was a community staple with how many patrons were in and out during our visit. We will definitely come back.
