My friend's and I eat at The Cellar frequently, because for the most part we know that the Food will be good. It is also one of the few places that my friend can eat because she has corn and gluten allergies. I have beef and pork allergies, so I appreciate having a lot of options on the menu. The service can be slow at times, but the servers are always kind. So I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I mean no insult when I describe this delightful restaurant as a kind of hippie diner. Its menu includes many diner favorites. However, it offers gluten free, vegetarian, & vegan options! This is wonderful for my husband and me, since we have different food allergies
The food is great --- check it out!
Their minestrone soup included a gluten free option ( no pasta) it was nice to have that option available. It was really good. Then I ordered the salmon salad 🥗 it didn’t disappoint! It fresh and tasty.
Zeppol's offers a truly lovely dining experience! The inside atmosphere is nice and quaint, with beautiful naturescapes art creating a relaxing backdrop. What really stood out to us was the exceptional service, especially regarding our gluten-free needs. Our server was incredibly helpful and made the entire meal enjoyable for everyone in our party.
We started with the applewood bacon soup and a salad, both of which were delicious. The highlight, though, was the shared gluten-free pasta – it was so good, it honestly could have fooled us! As someone who isn't gluten-free, I also had the pleasure of trying the table bread. Served warm with bits of olives and a delightful olive oil, balsamic, and herb dipping sauce, it was absolutely fantastic.
Overall, we had a great experience at Zeppol's and highly recommend it, especially if you have any dietary restrictions. They clearly prioritize both the quality of their food and the attentiveness of their service.
I've never actually eaten at this location before, I have had mezah before and it's probably one of my favorite places to eat. I deliver food from here a lot so i get to go inside and see the restaurant. My only concern, and leads to my hesitancy to eat here, is that I saw a young man using his phone with his gloves on, and proceeded to make food with the same gloves afterwards. I've worked in many food service jobs before, and number one rule has always been to change your gloves before working with food again/contaminated foods (meats/dairy/gluten vs gluten free). As someone who's been in this position, it deters me from eating somewhere when I see health precautions not being taken.
I visited this restaurant with a large group, a number of whom needed gluten-free meals. It was easy for everyone to find something yummy that fit their dietary needs. The portions were ample and the service was very good. (I had the Pho Beef, green papaya salad, & a summer roll)
Gluten and Dairy free: YES. The kitchen salad was delicious the roasted sweet potato salad was not Dairy free but substitutions could be made and it was quite tasty as well. Food was appropriately priced for the fare. Our server suggested a lovely California red based upon what I said my taste preferences were.
If you like wine with chocolate, coffee, caramel, or pit fruit after notes the Prisoner is a good choice.
The service was good, the atmosphere was relaxed, but classy. It was crowded and a little loud, but not overly so, it was a bit of a more mature crowd compared to the college scene of many of the bars in the area. So if you are over the days of frat parties, and a fun night is a sophisticated atmosphere, with a good meal and good wine give the Wine Lab a try.
I’m so happy to have found this restaurant. They have been so accommodating with my need for gluten free food. Many of their items are made gluten free without even needing to request it, like the fried rice, the spring rolls and the white sauce. The food is always fresh and tasty and the prices are great. It’s been a long time since I could eat Chinese whenever I wanted!
Jason and the team were absolutely awesome. This is the 1st time I've had a sub in over a year since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. My wife and 2 daughters loved their subs. Everything was prepared with care and came out great! Thank you guys again!
Really cute coffee shop! I love the overall vibes and aesthetic inside! The coffee is good, and there's a nice selection of pastries and sweets to choose from. I've noticed that sometimes the pastries change, and occasionally there are dairy free or gluten free options, something I haven't seen too much at other coffee shops.
Overall it's a nice place to study or hang out with friends. The staff are really nice too. Highly recommend!
First visit and will definitely be back. I’m gluten free and married to a craft beer lover and this is the perfect place for us. Wine and beer was great. The food was excellent. The vegan bowl is gluten free. Fries are cooked in a designated fryer so are a gluten free bonus! Will try the gluten free brownie next time.
EVERY time my family is in Blacksburg, we eat here or get takeout. The dine-in atmosphere is beautiful, the food is amazing and spiced perfectly. A huge plus for so many gluten free options. I love this place!!!
Visited while in Christianaburg for a wedding. Gluten sensitivity is new for me and so I've had to give up beer for good, until I discovered Beliveau through a Google search. I tried the Maple ale which is a solid gluten free beer in a world where gluten free often means a sacrifice in quality. My wife got a flight of wine which I'll review on the winery side.
If you are gluten free or gluten sensitive this is a great spot to come and enjoy a glass that won't completely wreck you. Bring your friends!
Hosted an event here and it was great. Everyone loves the food, and the service was fantastic.
Also... To my fellow gluten intolerants... This place has by far the best gluten free pizza in the area.
I have eaten here several times. The food is good, I love the atmosphere, and the service. The atmosphere is down home, warm, and familiar. I know that no matter what I choose, it will be good. We chose the restaurant for my friends birthday. Our server was very kind attentive, and everyone loved the food. The restaurant was very kind to allow us to bring our own cupcakes for my friend. Be cause she has a corn and gluten allergies, she was not able to eat any of their desserts. I had ordered the gobbler bowl. It's pulled fried chicken, mash potatos and gravy, pimento mac and cheese, and green beans. It was delicious as always.
It has an IHop and Waffle House feel to it and I love it! I had Gluten Free Buttermilk Pancakes with sausage and scrambled eggs. It was quite delight. Service was great, food was awesome, and atmosphere was chill. 10/10 would highly recommend!
I'm gluten free/vegetarian and I was so happy they had a burger with a gluten free bun and a veggie option and I felt like I was eating like a regular person. It was also delicious and reasonably priced, will definitely be going back.

I am so excited to have this spot in town. I’m not a big drinker and like to have a calm space to hangout at night with my friends. We painted some watercolors and drank some very delicious decaf coffee, I got a mocha that had really nice espresso and the chocolate was flavorful but not too sweet. They also had gluten free cookies which were awesome, and tasty. I also appreciate the flipped schedule because sometimes you gotta get some work cranked out, or just hangout late with your sister, and i love that I can hangout at my old standby coffee shop in the daytime, then head over here when they close. The music in the shop was not overwhelming and was a good fit for the atmosphere. I will be frequenting this establishment and look forward to more late night hangouts here.
Feather Bone provides excellent food in a cool casual setting in an old elementary school turned restaurant. Beer and wine list is very nicely curated. Food is delicious. The menu includes casual fare like burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, and chicken sandwiches. Also great vegetable sides and fantastic salads. The vegetarian selection is good as is the gluten free selection.
Great place for anyone with any dietary needs. Delicious vegan cheese with lots of topping choices and even cauliflower or gluten free crusts! Will definitely be coming back!
Their ice cream is so tasty! We love their $1.00 unlimited topping deal. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They have several gluten free flavors and they have an allergen listing so you know what is safe for those with allergies. We love to bring our family here for a tasty ice cream treat in a fun location. I just wish there was a location in Christiansburg so that we did not have to pay to park.
Good gluten free options. Staff is super nice and patient. Ate here once for dinner and once for brunch and both were fantastic. Definitely would recommend!
My pickup order from Panera was on time and delicious. I ordered the vegetarian squash soup and Greek half salad, with a side of chips. The soup was creamy and perfect! Mybsalad was nice too, but could've had some more olives. I will definitely order these again...especially the soup. It is a tasty and gluten-free option!
I got the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Gluten Free Lemon Berry Cake, it was so delicious. And the overall atmosphere is great! Music vibes are on point. Defiantly a great place to work remote from. Wi-Fi is good for video conference connection.
One of the best ramen places in blacksburg with good decor and atmosphere. Main courses are excellent, as are the appetizers (I like the takoyaki). One of the few ramen places I’ve ever been that can accommodate gluten intolerant customers without losing quality.
