I visited Roberta Vinci in Pardes Hanna, and I have to highly recommend it! I ordered a gluten-free pasta dish with lemon sauce, and it was simply amazing – a creamy and balanced sauce, high-quality pasta, and a magical Italian atmosphere. My friends had Jerusalem artichoke pizza, the salads were fresh and excellent, and the wine was excellent. The restaurant is not kosher and I am looking forward to going back there for Passover. It is also worth making a reservation because it is the only place in Pardes Hanna that is open on Shabbat, and therefore very popular.

We came because of the announcement about the new brunch menu that was added to the restaurant. Let's start with the better things: the place is beautiful on the ground floor of a conservation building and the atmosphere is relatively pleasant. The waiters were nice and took our order fairly quickly with all our requests. We ordered the couple's brunch, which included an omelet with toppings, dips and salads, and coffee that we asked to be served with the food. The other couple ordered a not-so-cheap shakshuka dish and a "Haifa" salad that was highly recommended by the waitress. Everything else turned out to be disappointing, and not just because of the prices: apart from the omelet, which was made with butter and was quite tasty, we received inconspicuous and few samples of dips that can be summed up in one word - "insulting". The brunch did not include the types of cheese that are common at most breakfasts, and the salads came in stingy and unsatisfying portions. The small bread bowl included a sample of small but interesting breads, but they were gone pretty quickly. The tiny shakshuka was served without bread and we had to ask the waiters to add another bowl of bread. The promising Haifa salad turned out to be a rather ordinary and completely unsatisfying dish, which cannot compete with any salad in another restaurant at the listed price. But the service of the kitchen is also quite lacking and without any justification. The dishes arrived gradually and in vain we begged again and again to bring us the coffee we asked for with the food. Only after I really had to go and talk to the person in charge of service did the coffee finally arrive, but long after we had finished eating. A little earlier, a few slices of gluten-free bread arrived that my wife had asked for but had to eat only after she had finished all the rest of the food... They saw that we were very dissatisfied and tried to compensate us with a final serving of crème brûlée, which was fine, but it did not sweeten the bad taste of the whole experience we had gone through. In conclusion, we will not return to any brunch at this restaurant, when at this price the meal does not even come close to any breakfast at any restaurant in the well-known coffee shop chains... The potential was quite promising, but come to that... the bigger the promise, the bigger the disappointment, and what a shame!
