I had a wonderful catering experience from start to finish! Mini Batch provided a delicious dinner for a large group. Communication was seamless, food (lemon chicken, quinoa salad, beautiful tossed salad, mini desserts) was enjoyed by all. My son commented the salad had the best tomatoes he has ever tasted! Everything was fresh and wonderfully curated. Mini Batch worked with our dietary restrictions. We also loved the 6 pounds of chicken salad and brunch items for the weekend! Lemon lavender and cranberry orange scones a hit! My guests LOVED the bacon twists and wished I had ordered more. Gluten free mini quiches perfect as well as large veggie quiche and bacon cheddar quiche. Not a single complaint!! The gluten free mini oatmeal pies are quite possibly the best in the world. I will be relying on Mini Batch for many of my future family gatherings and dinner parties. Just wish I would have found them sooner!! A lifesaver!!

I had the monkey bread. Expected it to be dry and hard. It was not. I REALLY enjoyed it. My wife had a gluten free ginger cookie. It was GREAT! She has an espresso and a drip. I had an Americano. All very good.

A lucky horse shoe find! Cognative Café! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff who truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s clear that this place is run with heart and intention as a community favorite. The coffee options are incredible, espresso, cortado, lattes, or prefer a simple drip, they’ve got something for everyone. They proudly brew Cooperative Coffee, which makes it even better knowing your cup supports ethical sourcing. If coffee isn’t your thing, no worries—the fridge is fully stocked with a wide variety of non-coffee beverages, and their tea selection is just as impressive. Their food menu is impressive, hearty sandwiches to fresh baked goods, there’s a wide selection to choose from, and they even offer plenty of gluten-free options, which is a huge plus. You can tell the staff is creative, and they’ve put a lot of thought into their offerings. The space itself is clean, bright, and completely handicap accessible, which I truly appreciate. The restrooms are spotless, and there’s fast, reliable WiFi, making it the perfect spot to work or relax. Overall, Cognative Café is so much more than a coffee shop, it’s a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant space with top-notch service and quality in every detail. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee, a bite to eat, or a cozy place to hang out. it’s typically and usually a pleasure to shop at Publix supermarkets. They are pricey, but their customer service is unmatched in the grocery and supermarket industry. One of their best features is that they have a good selection of organic, gluten-free items that are clearly marked.

This is a cute place to stop after hiking or biking in DuPont State Forest. They have ice cream, food/snacks, and beer. I had gluten free butter pecan.

Yummy little Italian restaurant with a full bar and extensive beer and wine list. I had the trout with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was prepared nicely, but the broccoli had zero seasoning so I held back a star. Being a gluten-free person always on the hunt for pizza that doesn't hurt, I didn't have that option here. No biggie. Very comfortable place to have dinner with a friend. The broken brick work on the wall was in the shape of Italy. Clever! All of the ladies that were serving or hosting were really helpful and prompt. I'll happily go back when in Hendersonville.

I came here for wine tasting this past week. Lovely location with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful views of the rolling hills all around the winery. There is both inside and outside seating. The outside seating includes lounge chairs and tables with chairs. The inside has picnic tables, and plastic tables and a register at one end where they have the wine bottles from which they pour. There is no centralized feeling to the place such as a tasting counter, which I heard other people express disappoint in. There is a nice viewpoint outside that people use for weddings. I really appreciate that they have vegetarian gluten-free pizza (along with the usual regular pizza choices) available. Not the best, but still nice to have something filling on the menu. They also have nuts and chocolate-covered raisins, as well as chocolate truffles available for $3 a piece. I had a wine flight and was disappointed by the fact that they don't have any sort of guided selection of wines. They hand you a paper and tell you to choose 5 wines and one mead like you would choose toppings for a deli sandwich. So, no input or discussion on their wines. The next disappointment was that they served the tastings in shot glasses. Nothing like wine served in shot glasses to break the fun wine experience you were going for. It felt more like going to a college students' house where they were missing the proper stemware. I was hoping the wine itself would make up the other disappointments. However, I didn't taste anything good enough to buy. Sadly, their reds are acidic and unbalanced and their whites are not worth getting as a full glass. There was no smoothness to their Cabernet or Malbec that you expect in good wine. In all, I'd say skip the wine tasting. Order a single glass so at least you can drink it in a proper wine glass and enjoy the gorgeous views. Don't expect to be wowed by their wines.
