According to Bloom’s website, “As of November 15, Bloom will no longer be exclusively gluten-free, but rest assured, we’re committed to maintaining ample gluten-free options and making our space as friendly as possible to those with allergies and dietary restrictions. We remain Chicago’s most gluten-conscious restaurant, and our team is committed to keeping plenty of delicious, fully gluten-free options that everyone can enjoy.”
Their “gluten free” donuts are actually advertised as “gluten less”. If you are celiac be aware they are fried in the same oil as the regular gluten containing. My work got these for me thinking they were gluten free bc of how they are advertised. They made me very sick.
Always a wonderful experience. We shared a salad, pasta course, main course & dessert ; everything came already divided which was so nice. My guest has a gluten allergy and we had plenty of options, no problem
Happy to have visited the Chicago location after going to Seattle's earlier this year. What a great spot.. A so happy to realize that most is gluten free! Vegans and non vegans alike should check this place out.

Veggie staple! I love the new menu changes! I have been eating here for at least 13 years and I am thrilled to have newer options. Love all the gluten free options now too, especially that new cheesecake. So nice to see a little menu revamp while keeping the favs. Well done! - also their delivery travels/holds up a lot better than most, so that's a plus.
Came here with the family and had a wonderful time! Adrian was our server, he was so kind and helpful! He was also super knowledgeable about all the gluten free options on the menu and brought out my tacos in a separate dish! Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! Will definitely be back soon!
I really wanted to love this place! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. However, my fiancée and I were pretty disappointed with the vegan and gluten-free cheese pizza. For over $20, we definitely expected more. The cheese wasn’t melted at all, the crust was bland, and there was hardly any sauce, which made the pizza really dry. Neither of us could finish just one slice. Maybe it was just an off night, but based on the reviews mentioning great vegan options, I had higher hopes. I love that more places are offering inclusive menu items, but I think it’s important for restaurants to really taste-test these options before serving them.
Great drinks, great pastries (including a fantastic set of gluten free options), and great customer service. This is exactly the kind of local business that we want here in Chicago. Highly recommend stopping in!
