First time ordering delivery for a Gluten Free pizza. The pizza was delicious and came in Gluten Free box as expected. Based on reviews pizza did not affect Celiac individuals. Based on reviews items are kept separate to avoid cross contamination. I hope it stays true to this so we can keep ordering it for our family. Thank you!
Pretty good pizza, great service, a little overhyped.
30-45 minute wait on a Saturday evening without reservations…not bad. We were served small samples while we waited which was much appreciated.
We shared the Salsiccia e broccoletti to start which was absolutely delicious. The Italian sausage was full of flavor and rapini was excellent.
My Cafona pizza was pretty underwhelming. Tomato sauce was too watery which soaked through most of the undercooked crust. My partner loved their gluten free Fiorentina! Good GF crust is hard to find.
Fabulous gem of a restaurant in the Fulton Market area. Croatian theme cuisine and excellent cocktails. Great vib. Shrimp scampi, charred green beans, risotto with carrots, pork ribs and branzino were amazing! Gluten free and egg free menus also.
I am so happy we stopped here for dinner. The staff were knowledgeable and so kind to me when I told them of my gluten and dairy allergies. Service was amazing and the food was sublime. I missed eating Italian for fear of cross contamination but they reassured me pasta were cooked separately. What a lovely place! I will be revisiting when I'm back in town.
Edit: Forgot to add, my husband got an Amaretto sour and he said it was the BEST one he's had.
Maggiano was great! Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. I had the chicken saltimbocca. When seated, the waiter asked about if anyone had any food sensitivities and I’m severely gluten intolerant. He then invited the chef to come out to talk to me about my allergies/ sensitivity which was pleasantly surprising. Most chefs never do that.
Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time eating here. I’ll definitely come back again the next time I get to visit Chicago.
First time eating here. They were great about handling my gluten allergy. The mushroom casserole was DELISH, the horseradish cream with the prime rib OUT OF THIS WORLD, yes it is thin sliced prime rib. I have NO IDEA why anyone is upset about this??? The meat is great quality, cooked to the perfect temperature, well seasoned (the only dish we had that WASNT over salted). It’s a generous serving- the two slices equal the same size hunk of beef I’ve enjoyed at any other steak-centric elevated pub type restaurant. It’s like a cooler version of RPM steak. My partner loved the sticky date cake for dessert, the brown butter ice cream was mid; only improved by the “hot” fudge (more lukewarm than hot in temperature). The ice cream didnt taste much like brownbutter at all. Would have appreciated the option for a salted caramel instead of only hot fudge.
The service was really quite good, if veering on too eager. Our server was kind, approachable, made a great surf and turf entree recommendation. The shrimp scampi (about 6 large two-bite shrimp in a buttery sauce; no noodles) alongside the prime rib, mushroom casserole and the wedge. She also offered to bring a sample of two pinots and a procesco for my partner try, which we would have never presumed to ask for.
My biggest complaint of every dish, except the prime rib, including the wedge salad were 2 notches too salty. I would have enjoyed it much more if I didnt feel slowly dehydrated by the sodium. A dry wine or soda water is a good idea to have on hand.
The place is quite large and noisy, leaning dangerously close to a cheesecake factory vibe, though it’s saved by the decor which is incredibly charming and homey with bespoke touches like a vintage linenkugel, very midwest, sign and what looks to be grandma-stitched, framed needlepoint roses.
We will definitely be back and look forward to sitting in a more secluded part of the restaurant.
First issue was the lack of understanding of celiac. I get that my fiancée having a disease is our limitation but this restaurant was supposed to be good about it. We explained about how even cross contamination makes her sick and the 2nd thing we ordered was brought out and when we asked if it was fried (Brussel Sprouts) they said yes and we asked if it was a shared fryer and they said yes. So she couldn’t eat it. (When we already explained that she would get sick from cross contamination, this was a major oversight by the waiter). They also had very small portions of the pasta dishes and the prices were way higher than they should be given the quality of food being just okay. Really disappointed overall.
Always a wonderful experience. We shared a salad, pasta course, main course & dessert ; everything came already divided which was so nice. My guest has a gluten allergy and we had plenty of options, no problem
Hands down, the best gluten-free pasta in Chicago, and the rest of the menu is great too. They have a nice little summer patio and super cozy inside space in the winter. Wait staff are always personable and professional. Nice Italian wine list with some unusual offerings.
Great spot — highly recommend!
Beautiful decor and ambiance with solid drinks and food to match.
What we ordered:
Whipped feta with truffle honey — delicious
Feta pistachio pesto
Gluten-free spiced beluga lentils
Drinks were great too. If you’re into something on the sweeter side, try the Lavender Knees Bees.
All around, 10/10
Food taste good, service is also good. The table where we were seat was kinda of small. Prices seem to be kind of high and they also charge you 20% upfront for the service. They don't offer gluten-free toast or pancakes.

We chose this dinner spot for the gluten-free options and it did not disappoint! The service was friendly, we were seated right away on a Saturday night, and they had plenty of celiac-safe food options. The pizza was some of the best I've had. We'll definitely be back!
Beautiful Italian restaurant. They offer courses, so take your time and enjoy the food. They have delicious gluten-free options. I would absolutely dine with them again. It's an elegant yet family-friendly atmosphere. And I really appreciate that they didn't rush us out when we finished our meal, and let us wait for our Uber at the table.
Haven't been out lately due to several circumstances. Finally had a double date with some very good friends. The food, service and cozy vibes were so fantastic. And needed. Zane was out server, and he was excellent. We spent a good bit of money, but it was well worth it.
Also had a gluten free pizza (focaccia) and pasta that was in no way less-than. That really bowled me over as a GF person. Thank you!
Outstanding food, service, ambience. And the prices are extremely reasonable relative to other choices. The attentiveness of the staff rivals Michelin starred restaurants. The pasta was gluten free and fabulously delicious.
Ordered a gluten free pizza with pepperoni and an extra cheese topping. Pizza was dry with very little cheese. Because of the lack of toppings and sauce it was hard and difficult to eat. While the pizza was a 12" the toppings were put on like a 10".
Can't recommend.
Server Lily is the best, definitely request her section!! I’ve been three times and all three meals have been splendid. The gluten free thin crust pizza is one of the best I’ve had, and the wings are spectacular. Great vibes at the bar for a game, but if sitting at a table, definitely request Lily as a server!!
Decent place that's by Wrigley. I got a veggie wrap and my wife got a gluten free pizza. The wrap was ok, a little greasy and weird but decent. And my wife said the pizza was ok as well with the cheese and toppings being good but the crust being ehhh
Ate in the bar as we didn’t have a reservation. I ordered a salad without croutons since I am gluten free and salad still came with croutons. The gluten free pasta was over cooked and the Alfredo sauce was just ok.
I hosted an event at Pizano's, on Madison recently. They have a really nice event space on the lower level of the restaurant. The event coordinator was very helpful and accommodating. She helped me select the menu and made sure we had gluten free options. We had quite a few attendees who had never tried deep dish pizza before. Everyone loved the pizza, including some thin crust options. In addition to food, we were provided drink options as well. The cost was very reasonable, the service was great, and the space was perfect for our needs. We will definitely consider hosting a future event in their event space. I highly recommend this option for your next large gathering. We had about 30 people with room to spare.
We literally started eating before I got some pics in. The presentation and the choice of ingredient combinations were amazing: we couldn't wait, lol! The crust was so tender yet crispy; this is the best pizza I've ever eaten. Also tried the gluten-free dough, and it was delicious also. The waitstaff were friendly and professional. I can't wait to go back :)
We had an afternoon 75th birthday with 70+ppl (from 2 weeks to 81 years old). The Strada room was beautifully decorated with colored napkins & balloons as we agreed. The food was delicious & abundant. The few guests with gluten-free & vegetarian needs were given terrific dishes. The hard working staff were great, & parking for so many cars was a bonus!! We had a lot of compliments from our guests & very pleased with our event. Would highly recommend!
Great find for easy Italian food. Gluten free menu. Decent selection including gluten free pasta. Our server was cheerful and excited to talk with us. Would highly recommend for an easy affordable Italian dinner.
Gem of an Italian place on the northwest side. Foods great drinks are well priced and service is always good. Gluten free options are tasty and never feels “on top of eachother” even when it’s busy.
Fantastic restaurant! Great food quality and choices. Great service. Great atmosphere between inside and outside seating. Gluten free options as well. Prices are fairly reasonable for Chicago and dining quality.

Be careful yall!
This place has tasty pizzas, but if you order the gluten free option they full scam you.
The servers were shocked and telling me they were shocked when they found out the actual size of this pizza.
It’s marketed at medium.
You be the judge.
We were expecting this to feed 2 as it’s marketed as medium… fully impossible.
Also i paid $26 dollars for this
I have to give this place a 1 star just for this.
You may think fries wouldn’t be your first pick at an pizza restaurant, or that you wouldn’t want Caesar dressing on it, but for some reason it’s a religious experience, as is the gluten free pizza. I’m not even gluten free but my fiancé is and for some reason I prefer it anyway. Everything’s delicious in a way that doesn’t make sense.
Customer service and management seems to be top notch too.

Not too crowded and excellent food. I ate gluten-free. It was like eating at a fine Italian restaurant away from an airport. It was a unique airport dining experience. A restaurant with that old country Italian flare with accents. And they are excited to tell you about their foods and wines. Worth visiting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Ceres'. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, absolutely delicious and very satisfying. Our server, Matthew, could not have been more of a pleasure and enhanced our evening all the more. Excellent options for vegans and vegetarians, as for gluten free.
