Staks Kitchen - Germantown

Born in the 901, this establishment serves breakfast, brunch and lunch with a fairly expansive menu. On this particular visit, a Sunday brunch, I had the lemon ricotta dish and a side of hash browns. My guest had the sous vide chicken entree. We both really enjoyed our meals. As far as the service? The business model is much aligned with many restaurants in the post-Covid world in the sense that there are servers, bartenders and hosts/hostesses, but it’s more of a team dynamic than an individual, dedicated server. There are pros/cons to that approach, but it’s good to be informed about it on the front end. I was glad to see a large quantity of vegetarian options, a couple vegan options, and several gluten-free items as well. For those curious about their proximity to this place, there are three locations as of this writing - East Memphis, Germantown, and Southaven. Give them a visit!

The Gluten Free pancakes were grainy, not fully done, and sour. I would not recommend to someone with a wheat allergy. Other stuff looked good though and the service was good and attentive.
