Ordered leek & potato soup. It tasted fishy and looked the color of a lobster bisque with fried leeks on top. I ordered a side of salmon and they gave me an entire dish instead. The salmon tasted fishy and the coleslaw that was included tasted old. I’m easy going and definitely not picky and actually felt pretty nauseated after eating. My husband ordered a chicken salad gluten free and it came with the fried leeks. Spent $50 for what ended up being a disappointing dinner unfortunately. The atmosphere seemed cool but I can’t say I would order from here again or make the effort to dine in.

Always delicious food; and gluten free buns are available. The fried chicken dinner was to die for.

Not sure why this place gets such good reviews. My family and girlfriend treated me here for my birthday since I was curious to try it out. It was just ok overall. For starters, their menu is a bit confusing (e.g. most dishes come with "a choice of sides" but the sides aren't listed anywhere). I had the vegan sloppy joe and side salad with mango-lime dressing, which was good but smaller than most of the dishes I saw come out. Wasn't filling enough by itself. My gf got the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich with tater tots as side. The tots were over-fried and way too hard/crispy. The sandwich was surprisingly very bland, which we later learned was probably because it was missing the jerk sauce. My dad got the same sandwich, albeit with a gluten free bun that cost an extra $4 and almost ruined the sandwich as a whole. He said it was fine though after dipping it in the jerk sauce (which is how we came to realize my gf's was missing the same sauce on the side, and unfortunately after her sandwich was already eaten). My sister was happy with the plates she split with my mom - fried chicken & mashed potatoes + biscuits and gravy, and a chicken salad. My mom seemed to like it ok, but nothing special. My gf tried the mashed potatoes and gravy- she loves gravy generally but said it was awful there. The mashed potatoes (with duck fat and roasted garlic) were a hit among the three that tried it. Service wasn't bad, our waitress was nice. Overall, just average. And not worth the higher than average prices. I live nearby but don't think I'll bother going back
