I love this place! The pizza is ALWAYS fresh! They have the BEST vegan cheese I have ever tasted and their gluten free crust is the only kind I will eat! Due to a doordash mistake and doordash refusing to help rectify the situation, I had fear of going without my pizza! Then, a miracle!--Glen himself showed up at my doorstep, correct pizza in hand. wow!! Now that's amazing service! He's such a great business owner and so kind, thank you Glen! You made our night!

Absolutely delicious! Excellent food and service, I loved my eggs benny on gluten free bread. Nothing but good vibes from this family owned cafe. Great prices for the portion size. Paula was very welcoming. Will be back soon!

My wife and I were out in Ocean Side looking for a sit and a sandwich when Rye’s and Grind came up in our search. Even though their menu didn’t explicitly state that they had a gluten free option, we opted to give them a call. The staff informed us they could accommodate my dietary restrictions and would do their best to take extra precautions to prevent cross contamination on their cook top. My wife ordered a pastrami sandwich while I opted for the Gluten Free Motley Loo. Both sandwiches were extremely well appointed with some of the tastiest pastrami I’ve had this side of the Mississippi. The staff informed me that though the latkes were made without gluten, their fryers were a cross contamination risk, so their steak fries, tots, latkes, and rosemary home fries would be off limits for me. Thankfully, their coleslaw and potato salad were delightful and rich so I didn’t feel left out of the side order game. My wife reported her latkes were top notch, and they came with all of the condiments you could possibly want including what tasted like homemade salsas. On top of the top notch service and food, the coffee was hot, rich, and bold, which is what we needed on a surprisingly rainy day in Southern California. Everything about my experience with Rye’s and Grind was above and beyond. I cannot commend the staff enough for the compassion, service, and attention the team gave us even at the end of their day. If you’re thinking about going to Rye’s and Grind but can’t make a decision, just go. The team, food, venue, and coffee were all top notch.

We are vacationing in Oceanside and love to try new places. We chose Toasted for dinner due to it being new and has small Gluten Free options. We were a group of six adults, they were busy and serice was slow, no fault to our server. For the price of the food, (total bill no alcohol, over $200) it was okay, nothing special. Maybe their breakfast or lunch might be better.

Went for a breakfast date with my husband. We are both Vegetarian and gluten free. At least 4 options on the menu for us, which was wonderful to have choices. It was a Sunday, so a wait time of 20 minutes for us. Perhaps next time we will reserve ahead of time. Great view of the ocean from the patio.

This is my new favorite restaurant on the coast. The atmosphere and service are top notch and the food is to die for! I'm gluten and dairy free and it's really easy to adjust my order to accomadate that. I also think their Bartenders are top notch and great mixologists!
