Simply awful place to dine. Dirty, ridiculous service and so completely overpriced. Went there for my birthday lunch. Strong bleach smell upon entering, ketchup splotched all inside the light over the table, waiter wouldn't let us read the menu and instead, insisted on telling us about everything on it including all of the seafood dishes even after we said we don't eat seafood. Let them know I was Celiac and he talked all about it and how they had it covered but brought my food with a bread roll sitting on top. Remade it and did not include the cheese and assured me there was no dairy...what? Um, seriously? Then he brought me a bowl of microwaved cheese. Ugh. Spinach and artichoke dip was $13 and had very little chips and nasty globby cheese all over it. No! The rice pilaf was very greasy. Portions were super small, the plate was smaller than my hand. Asked for a refill on our waters and he never brought it, just the bill...$45 for a nasty lil lunch.. didn't even reduce my meal for never getting it right. Unprofessional. Avoid this place if you're passing through Memphis especially if you're Celiac and definitely if it's your birthday. Bummer.

This is my favorite place to eat in Memphis! Every time I pass through on a roadtrip this place is a MUST. They are so friendly and the food is delicious. There’s gluten free fried catfish and shrimp which is my go to. It’s close to the river and downtown, super easy to get to. There’s something special about this place and it’s worth a stop in!

The restaurant is very cool, but we waited almost an hour for food. One person in our group didn't get their food and we had to find our waitress to ask for it. Drinks were not refilled at any point. The red beans and rice were from a dehydrated mix and microwaved. The only positive was the catfish was good and there were gluten free options. When we were leaving the waitress told us that when we all come in at once (from a nearby conference) it makes the wait longer. The restaurant was not even close to full and the table next to us came in after us and got their food before us.
