We had dinner here during our overnight stay in Bovec and it was a great find as they have gluten free burgers and a gluten free brownie as well!
My partner had the beef burger in a normal bun and I had the vegetarian burger in a gluten free bun and both were delicious. The gluten free brownie was tasty as well.
It was pretty busy when we got there but we got a table quickly and the waiter did a great job making sure we get our order quickly.

And their gluten free crust is excellent (only available in one size, slightly smaller than the regular size, but plenty big!) The server, Sergej, spoke great English. When trying to help them help us they push their point with no listening .The manager cut in and went for the "traces of..."-card. When we said that traces of... We were initially turned away by the hostess who told us that no seating was available without a reservation. We elected to order takeout which they accommodated.
Surprisingly, multiple similar sized groups without reservations were seated in the 30 minutes that followed.
Despite sitting near the entrance and attempting to flag down the hostess for over 15 minutes, we were not brought our food until it had been 55 minutes since we ordered, and it was clear that the food had been sitting out on a counter for some time.
The food was mediocre at best and not worth the price nor the wait unfortunately. They do have gluten free options which we appreciated.

We ate here twice during our stay in this lovely town. My partner is celiac and the staff were very aware of gluten content of their food. The menu changes with what’s available… so we had asparagus with each meal which was delicious. Fresh, simple, local, healthy food. My partner enjoyed the goulash ( made with pork, beef and deer) as well as traditional buckwheat porridge. I had a lovely gnocchi with prawns and asparagus as well as a delicious grilled chicken breast in salad. Asparagus soup too! Probably the best food we had in Slovenia. And the best value. A nice glass of house red wine was 1.60 Euros!
