The food was good, but my celiac daughter ordered a gluten-free Gordon's, and they were supposed to have changed the bread to make it gluten-free, but it got contaminated, and she ended up with a stomach ache and vomiting... We bought our wedding cake from Bakkerij De Anti Gluut, as well as some donuts and cupcakes for the day - I would've ordered even more if I could have justified it! Our cake was vanilla and lemon/lemon curd, and vanilla and strawberry jam. The donuts were vanilla and cinnamon with a vanilla glaze. The dairy-free cupcakes were also vanilla with a vanilla glaze. Everything was absolutely delicious and looked and tasted exactly as requested! Communication with Manuela was great throughout, and delivery was early on the day, so there was no stress or worry. The pancakes, the one with apples and the one with chocolate chips, are very good and generous in size.
Unfortunately, despite being young, the staff is not friendly, never a smile and when I asked if there were vegan options I was told by a girl to look on the menu even if there was nothing written on the menu, I solved it by talking to the male waiter who was able to point out options not listed on the menu.
We spent €10.70 per person for two pancakes.
