I have always personally been a fan of Sweet 27 but thought I'd add a review from my wonderful experience coming here for work meetings and with catering for work events. Highly recommend! There is something here for EVERYONE's tastes/dietary restrictions/etc. The service is wonderful and there is never a wait for a table. All of our orders have been accurate and ready when they say it will be ready for pick up. They also are really thoughtful in providing forks/napkins etc. as needed with to-go orders. The portions are very generous. Choosing Sweet 27 for group orders is always the best way to go! Pro-tip: If you are lucky enough to be where when the cinnamon rolls come out of the oven--GRAB ONE! You won't regret it! (and yes, they're all gluten free)

Those who have to follow strict avoidance (whether an allergy, intolerance, or Celiac) have limited options when it comes to dining out safely in Frederick. Great breakfast food. We had omelets, OJ, and pancakes. We were starving so no leftovers, but generous portions. Allowed us to skip lunch while we visited the national park. Food arrived very quickly. Staff were friendly. Many gluten free options. Not a dedicated GF kitchen but I didn't have any issues despite being very sensitive.

Cypriana was terrific. We had a birthday person with us and they made it special (see Picts), the food was great. Specifically the chef’s hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had! Seriously, I could’ve eaten that alone and been happy. The branzino with lemon was excellent and light. The chicken with lemon potatoes was perfect for my kid, the grilled octopus was nice and tender-had a slight Smokey taste and the portion size was enormous. The grilled eggplant was another lovely dish, although that reduced balsamic drizzle on top was so delish I could’ve used more! The had a gluten free pita which was excellent, and the wood roasted olives was a “to taste” item. I did not care for it but the rest of the table loved it. The service was great, drinks were generous. We had a very good time and will be back!

We ended up here on a whim the day of the fall festival. It was crowded but we were seated very quickly. The service was great and was completely unaffected by how packed it was. They had gluten free options available (even dessert, which is rare). I had a BLT on a gluten free bun AND a gluten free strawberry shortcake. I will absolutely be back.

Best gluten free pizza I’ve had since going gluten free. Wish it was a little more affordable, but understand the cost due to the high quality of the imported flour. Definitely recommend!

Everything about True Food is a delight! The cocktails were perfectly balanced and the service from James was absolutely top notch. I typically avoid gluten free options due to the texture, but the gluten free blueberry pancakes are the best pancakes I've had at a restaurant period. My partner loved his matcha horchata and farmer’s hash. I highly recommend giving this spot a try, it’s wonderful!

My partner and I had dinner here tonight. He got a burger which he said was very good. We shared a crab dip which was delicious. I am gluten free (allergy) so I was thrilled to see so many options. Unfortunately, I did indeed have a reaction to the gluten free pizza. My partner had tried their pizza here before at an earlier date and he did mention he enjoyed the piece of my gluten free crust very much, in his opinion he liked it better than the normal crust. I’m not sure if somewhere along the way my food somehow encountered gluten contamination. It’s understandable but disappointing. Thankfully I take enzymes for when I eat out which do reduce any reaction I may have if exposed. But aside from that the bacon fig pizza was very tasty. The atmosphere was great. And our server Keller, was friendly, and attentive. Another worker did say bye to us on our way out, which we appreciated. Great place, my advice is to people with celiac to just be careful and bring your antispasmodics/enzymes, just in case.

I recently visited Truefood, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the variety of options, catering to both health-conscious eaters and those with specific dietary needs. They have everything you could possibly want in a coffee shop!! Plenty of seating inside. Outdoor seating. WiFi. We ordered Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, Iced chai latte, and a shot of espresso with real whipped cream on top. Very delicious! We were not going to leave without eating some crepes. We had the banana Nutella crepe and Croi’ffles. Also the gluten free crepe with honey and salted butter. Absolutely amazing!!!!! The crepes are huge and did I mention delicious?!?!? We will return and try new crepes and drinks. Once you hit the coffee shop, walk through town and shop in some stores. The whole town is great! And for those of us who love trains, active tracks to watch trains rumble through!! The staff was fantastic and we really enjoyed watching them make the crepes. It’s inclusive and welcoming to everybody. Which is always a plus! They have new fans in this family!

I am so excited to have found this place! My youngest daughter is diagnosed Celiac Disease and so cannot have even the slightest bit of cross contamination in her food or she'll be sick. On Christmas Eve I called to see if they had a dedicated gluten free fryer (my girl loves fries!). I was told no but the man, Jason, who turned out to be the GM, encouraged us to go anyway because they have such an extensive gluten free menu. I'm glad we gave it a try! When I arrived Jason told me he decided to make a gluten free dedicated fryer in his kitchen and had already started it up to be ready for my daughter's fries! On top of that, the staff were all lovely and the food was *amazing*! Jason, if you see this, thank you again! It's rough for a 13 yr old with Celiac Disease; your kindness made a difference! We will be back!!

*Update: 12 hours after meal, still no gluten symptoms!* Very gluten friendly. Had a pizza. Our waiter, Diego, seemed knowledgeable about gluten issues and asked if it was an intolerance or an allergy. I'm pretty sensitive and I didn't have any issues after my meals. Will definitely be coming back! Not going to lie, I get sick most places that claim to offer gluten free pizza. NOT HERE! There are GF options that include entrees and salads in addition to pizza. Website mentions that they worked with the GIG (gluten intolerance group) to develop kitchen procedures, which is why we decided to go there.

Such a great place to go relax and feel welcome. Food is always on point, and I can tell the proprietor and chef puts love into the food. If you have food preferences/allergies like celiac, dairy, vegan, or whatever you can rest assured that this place also has an allergen menu, which is basically the same menu without spatzel or has marked allergens on the item. The staff is always super helpful and kind. Eating here is just the best. I hope you like sausage tho

My husband and I ate here for the first time and just before sunset. Loved the atmosphere, especially watching the sunset from the main dining area. Munir was our server. He was prompt, responsive, attentive and personable. I warned him I would be the problem diner with my dairy and gluten allergies, LOL. He was great about it. He consulted with the chef about what I was interested in eating. Food was awesome. I had the steak and bites of my husband's catfish. Everything was delicious. My husband loved the Mississippi Mud. Great little restaurant. Great food. Had a chicken taco and a chorizo taco in corn tortilla. Both excellent. Chips were great. I wasn't a fan of the salsa buy my family gobbled it doen.easy to pay with a QR code. Fun surfing vibe. Enjoyed watching surfing on the TVs. So far so good with the gluten free for my Celiac.

The sickest out celiac family has ever been. Has come from this place. We got the chicken enchiladas and the gf mac and cheese. I even confirmed the noodles were boiled in their own water, clearly they were not when we discovered another noodle from another dish with the food.

It’s hard to beat a gourmet burger with bottomless fries. I love how there are options for a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. The royal red robin is my personal go to, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their delicious burger options. From beyond meat to gluten free options- they seemingly have it all. The staff is always friendly and while it can sometimes be a bit busy at times the tables are spread far enough apart that it is still comfortable. If you are tired of reheated drive thru meals, this is the place to go without breaking the bank.
