A lovely gentleman took care of us, excellent customer service. The food was delicious, my mother has celiac and other food intolerances, she had plenty of options to choose from. I had their prosciutto panini, it was yummy. Highly recommend!
A popular spot known for its tasty meals and quick service, though attention to detail can occasionally slip a bit.

If you’re in Stamford and there’s nowhere else to go then this place, attached to la Quinta, right off 95, has a cool, old school American diner look and a nice hostess. Order something very safe. Do not order any salad, anything with chicken or the French dip au jus, because they are just not good at all. I met my friend and her daughter there. We normally meet at the fabulous New Rochelle diner, but we thought we’d change things up. Sigh. We told the waiter the daughter was celiac and asked several questions about what was gluten free. She got grilled cheese on gf bread which came with French fries that were NOT gluten free. Fortunately the daughter sensed they weren’t and held off eating them. The waiter just didn’t register his mistake. No one ever bused the table which was a mess. We finally went and found a waiter and ordered lemon meringue pie- 2 slices - and deçàf. The decaf was great, the pie had a bit of freezer burn but was fine.
The place looks fun, but it’s just not good or friendly besides the hostess. Then, while we were eating the pie they began to vacuum. Loudly.
We are friendly and there’s nothing off putting about us. We didn’t say anything about the fries mishap or anything else, and they decided to just full out loudly vacuum right there in our faces. No communication/offer to have us move.
In short, they were unfriendly and the food was bad.
When it comes to having hamburgers out I like to have options. I don't like that one size fits all cheese burger, I have to have more options and this place has a nice selection. The teaming is also nice and looks like a place out of a 50s movie. We went here twice during our stay in Stamford. They had gluten free rolls and were able to make us breakfast sandwiches that were fantastic. The restaurant is very cute, looks like an old fashioned malt shop.
With a cozy atmosphere and stunning views, this spot offers tailored experiences for special events and a lively vibe as the night unfolds.

I hosted my sister's baby shower here last weekend. I was really impressed by how Will (manager) and the chef accommodated a custom menu that met all the unique dietary requirements of our party (vegan, vegetarian, celiac, dairy free). The view from the semi-private area of the restaurant where we held the party felt quite personal, with a great view of the patio and water. Nice, tall, green hedges sectioned off our area from the rest of the restaurant. We were allowed to arrive early to set up some flower arrangements and all the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful (they provided us with glasses for flowers and an extra high table for party favors, and they cleaned up everything we brought after we left). They even let us linger longer after our three hour time slot had finished. Everything went so smoothly and was very relaxed and delicious. The cocktails and mocktails were GREAT too. Thank you so much for making it a special celebration for our family and friends.

As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be stressful, but Terra Gaucha exceeded all my expectations. I was initially concerned about gluten-free options, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that almost everything on the menu was naturally gluten-free or could be accommodated. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about cross-contamination and took great care to ensure my meal was safe.
Beyond that, the food was phenomenal. The variety and quality of meats were outstanding—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The salad bar had fresh, delicious options, and I never felt limited in my choices. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly servers making sure we had everything we needed.
Very good sandwiches. Always packed and can take a bit I time to get in and out. Usually have gluten free bread available, though Fridays can be dicey.
An outstanding dining experience. Great view. Diverse team and clientele. The staff is professional, gracious and aims to please. The food is delicious. Parking is not a problem. Be sure to take a stroll along the waterfront. Options for gluten free folks! I do not have a single criticism. Just go! Make your reservation and go!
A go-to spot for fresh, healthy eats with a vibrant outdoor patio and a great variety of flavors that keep people coming back for more.
