Plenty of food options that were gluten free. The chef took the time to personally walk me through the entire buffet to explain the gluten free options. Never had a chef do that before. Wonderful exceptional service. Roast meats were good quality and overall a good buffet.

Fantastic dinner at Marios. We didnt have a reservation, but we were grateful staff had a table available on a very busy night. Staff were super attentive and helpful with our dietary requirements. Plenty of gluten free options for myself and my coeliac daughter. Very good quality food & excellent service, we will definitely be back again.

Excellent food - a good variety of really tasty dishes. We just had a few of the small share dishes which was such a good way to go for just the two of us. Probably one of the best places we’ve been to as far as offering gluten free dishes - basically everything is gluten free unless the menu specifically says it contains gluten. Very reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Will be going back there again soon.

Amending food and service! The young girl who was running the front of house on her own (as they were down staff) was incredible. I wanted got shout her out as it was busy and she was on top of it all! Excellent gluten free options for two in an our group of 6 have intolerances. Drinks and food came out very quickly considering how busy it was and price was pretty good also. Love our tropical juices. Parking was also a breeze.

It was my first time at Georges after a recommendation from another shop owner who said it had been there for 40years. Look... it was reasonably priced, with a knowledge of gluten free, and some of it was nice while some of it was frozen. I just dont expect that from a restaurant across from the ocean. Waiters lacked any interest at all which was sad because it made a very negative impact on the overall experience.

A must visit if in the area. Was introduced to Rumi's a few years ago by friends and always return when near Broadbeach. Their mixed platter for two is heavenly - an absolute must and easy to see why it's their most popular dish. And they can easily alter it for full gluten free and other dietary considerations. The service is always fantastic - the staff rake real pride in customer care. If I had any feedback, it would be to list on the menu that they can handle different dietary requirements. But apart from that, this place is perfect.

We celebrated my partners birthday here tonight and were served by the amazing Tiago. Firstly, he was honest and very knowledgeable and when he didn't know something, he found someone who did. The food was not only incredible but Tiagos service made the experience 10x better and ensured everything was gluten free. 👨‍💼 We loved this place, complements to the chefs aswell.👨‍🍳 To anyone reading this review, what are you waiting for? I recently visited Elk Espresso and was thoroughly impressed! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I never had to wait long at all, which made my visit incredibly stress-free. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated the celiac-friendly options on the menu; it’s refreshing to see a café that goes the extra mile for all its guests. Went here with my mum and sister without a booking on holidays. I informed them that I had coeliac disease and the waitresses and the chefs were extremely accommodating. They were constantly confirming that they were only using gluten free ingredients. The chef cleaned down the grill in front of us before making my gluten free food. The food was excellent, we had the fried (gf), the chicken (gf) and my sister and mum had the beef. We started at a table to order, then were moved to the teppanyaki station promptly to watch our food being cooked. The chef was very entertaining and personable. I also noticed that he was very engaging with children at other groups’ table so it is definitely a good option for families. Would definitely recommend as a dinner option for anyone in the area!!!

Our favourite pizza place when we are on the Gold Coast. Authentic and delicious pizza and pasta. There gluten free bases are also delicious. Service is also fantastic and they always manage to squeeze us in even at last minute notice when they are busy. A great husband and wife team that provide an awesome atmosphere together with their staff. My son’s favourite trick is to add burata to his favourite pizza. Highly recommend if you’re after a great pizza.

Visited Sage Broadbeach for dinner with my partner’s family. As a recently diagnosed coeliac, I was initially relieved to see the menu clearly labelled with GF options, and staff who encouraged us to mention any dietary needs. We started with cocktails and wine which we were impressed with the selection at reasonable prices, and the service was friendly and attentive at this point. Things quickly went downhill. When ordering, I asked if the mushroom sauce was gluten free, and the waiter casually said he’d just “mark it as gluten free,” which didn’t inspire much confidence. My meal arrived a few minutes late, and after checking again, I was told there was contamination with the fried kale. Unfortunately, by that point, I had already eaten some vegetables and a potato, only to find out the potatoes were also cross-contaminated. My plate was taken away, and after more delays, I was told they couldn’t even pan-fry a fresh batch (which was the waiters suggestion!) Everyone else was finished eating by the time my meal returned, what I assume was the same steak, now overcooked from medium to well-done, thrown together with a basic garden salad (not the pear salad I ordered), and a bowl of steamed vegetables that came out later. It was incredibly disheartening. Despite seeming aware of coeliac needs at first, the kitchen clearly didn’t understand safe food handling or cross-contamination risks. After expressing my frustration (after staying extremely optimistic and pleasant up until this point) they offered a discount on the steak, but it barely felt like a gesture considering how little I ate. Sadly, the experience left me feeling dismissed and disappointed. I wouldn’t trust them to safely cater for anyone with serious dietary needs.

AMAZING!!!! Lunas is Italian 🇮🇹 I have Celiac (GF) and there was so much things to eat!! Like Pizza Pasta And more I got the pasta and when I asked for GF they said are you Celiac(I said yes) and they told me there is still a risk of having gluten and they told me everything!! They also cook it in a different pan!! I would not take a kid under 10 as because of the atmosphere of adults and the vibe But overall just go there is AMAZING 🤩 (Btw, the pasta was delicious 🤤)

This is my second time at social eating house and I would just like to show some love and appreciation for the very attentive waitstaff and exceptional customer service experience and also the effort that was made from every single person I interacted with to ensure my food was gluten free and coeliac friendly. I had the Wagyu steak which was perfectly cooked and honestly the best steak I have eaten on the Gold Coast to be honest. It literally melted in my mouth. The Kurrawa Surf Club is in a good location and has a beautiful beach view. The staff is friendly and professional. There is a good range of food. The gluten free raspberry cheese cake is a delight. Would go back there again.

This is my absolute go to when wanting takeaway. Being coeliac I’m always limited on foods I can eat and it being safe. For the price it’s a great serving, it’s always made up very promptly to grab on the go. It’s fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. I have tried a few different bowls but always circle back to the Triple Chilli with tofu, and depending on how I’m feeling it’s either rice or salad. My kids love popping in with me and last time got to try the frozen OJ which they absolutely loved. Nothing better than frozen freshly squeezed orange juice after a hot day at school. Always smiling and friendly. Highly recommend

My new favourite Indian Restaurant on the Gold Coast. Amazing food, prepared and served by beautiful people. I ate their 3 time over 2 weeks. The food is delicious and fresh. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, so fresh, so tasty. They leave the windows open, there is a great breeze flowing through. Not a lot of parking, but worth a short stroll if required. You will not regret visiting this little gem.

Great place for bacon and egg sandwich if you require a gluten free option. Only have white bread for the GF option. Coffee was good and strong with many different milk choices.

Beautiful vegan restaurant with lovely food. Some dishes are tastier than others as you'd expect, but so many vegan gluten-free options so we were very happy. Waiter was a bit rude and commented on how much we were eating (you don't say that lol) and we had to wait for a long time for some brown rice that we finished some of the other meals before then. Otherwise, great experience and good food; would eat there again but more likely takeout or delivery.

One thing I like about this cafe is the hours (I've been there as early as 6 am & they've still been open at 11 pm - very unusual for a cafe/coffee shop). The gluten free caramel slice is really good & the bacon , egg cheese & hash brown breakfast bagel is a banger. Toasted sammiches are on point as well.
