I have always personally been a fan of Sweet 27 but thought I'd add a review from my wonderful experience coming here for work meetings and with catering for work events. Highly recommend! There is something here for EVERYONE's tastes/dietary restrictions/etc. The service is wonderful and there is never a wait for a table. All of our orders have been accurate and ready when they say it will be ready for pick up. They also are really thoughtful in providing forks/napkins etc. as needed with to-go orders. The portions are very generous. Choosing Sweet 27 for group orders is always the best way to go! Pro-tip: If you are lucky enough to be where when the cinnamon rolls come out of the oven--GRAB ONE! You won't regret it! (and yes, they're all gluten free)

Get one of everything. Try it all. Everything they offer is the best you will ever have. Macarons, alfradores, pavlovas, etc, - TRY THEM and you will not be disappointed. The donuts are literally to die for. Seriously, croissant and brioche donuts?! You will not understand unless you try them. Their cakes are amazing, but don't forget to book them in time! Their GF options are the best around and we have never any cross-contamination (perfect for celiac). The staff is also incredible, kind, and super knowledgeable. Do not pass this shop up!!

We are SO lucky to have such delicious, plant-based food, served by such friendly folks here in Baltimore! Everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious and very friendly to plant-based eaters and omnivores alike. I especially appreciate that there are so many gluten free offerings, since my digestive system hates me. Definitely a great place for a nice date, special occasion, or one of those days when you just need some delicious food that makes you feel cozy inside 🥰

Bougie pricey cupcakes but the FLAVOR IS THERE!!!! They offer vegan and gluten free friendly options! Obsessed with the oreo and the biscotti flavors. Small shop so I would just grab them to go.

Always enjoy visiting the Cheesecake Factory however this time was different. I have a gluten allergy and ordered the Four Cheese Pasta with Gluten Free Pasta. Their gluten free pasta is spirals and as you can tell by my photo there are two pieces of penne pasta on the left side which indicates to me that the gluten free items are made in the same bins that the other pasta is. I caught it after a few bites and thank heavens I did. The waitress took it back and they made me a new dish and even gave me $10 off my bill which I appreciate however this could have been a serious issue had I not noticed and kept on eating.

Huge diversity of pastries and sweets made each day. When they sell out that's it until the next day, but there is always a large variety to choose from. We love the quiche and have also done cakes from them as well. There are gluten free options for dessert as well. This is becoming our own little coffee and brunch place.

One big priority for our wedding day was to find a vegan cake that tasted great. Sarah was so easy to work with, and her cakes were disproportionately better than the others we taste-tested! We ended up ordering a small tiered cake, which Sarah designed beautifully, and many filled mini-cupcakes, all of which were excellent. We got 12 gluten-free almond wedding cake mini cupcakes, which worked especially well. We are very grateful that Sarah helped us meet our guests dietary needs so deliciously! Pricing was also extremely reasonable for the DC metro area.

It also offers a wide selection of wines and liquor. Fantastic store with many specialty items, fresh fruits, and veggies. Great for Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.

Awesome breads, pastries, and bagels. Their breads are delicious and almost all sourdough base (helps make gluten more digestible!)! The croissants are so perfectly flakey. The chocolate croissant and whole wheat sourdough are my favorite things. My husband loves their breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Everything is inexpensive as well! An adorable neighborhood staple. Busy on weekends but always worth it!!

Overall a really good grocery store not too far from me. I think they have good sales and generally good produce. I wish they had a little bit more gluten free stuff but otherwise a really solid grocery option.

I absolutely love Lena and Erin! They are young, black owned and women-led in Baltimore Md. They’re cupcakes are amazing and perfectly made. I have a gluten allergy so whenever I’m in the mood for sweets I can count on them for gluten free cupcakes. Also I’m obsessed with they’re lemonade, definitely a delight. Overall they have amazing customer service and the most incredible personalities. I highly recommend. 🤗

Convenient location and abundant parking in the covered garage. Liquor store (connected), Starbucks (entrance) and pharmacy (upstairs) make this a one stop shop. Decent hot bar and good bakery with premade meals. Sushi is so so, but ok in a pinch. They also have poke bowls, subs, pizza and ready-to-make dinners. Reasonably priced organic produce selection and a nice little butcher in back with good seafood selection. Gluten free and vegan options are easy to find here and the "ethnic food section" had expanded notably in recent years. You'll even find indian, and Thai, in addition to a large Hispanic selection. Customer service desk is a gem. Managers care a lot. Always check your receipt because they reliably miss posted discounts at the register and the managers are gracious about it. Rest room behind the registers is cleaned regularly and I'm nearly positive there's a baby changing station in both the women's and men's room. Pick-up orders are great and grocery delivery is really worth it when you can't afford to spend an hour waiting for people to clear self checkout. Pro tip: if you have anything to weigh or anything on sale, just wait for a register and skip the self checkout.
