I love this North End staple. They make a small selection of dairy and gluten free items daily - a coffee cake, chocolate chip cookie, and whoopie pie. Like everything else, they are available until they sell out. The coffee cake is my favorite! The cookie is not the best in town, but still good and I appreciate having the option. The whoopie pie is best eaten fresh. I appreciate this long-time establishment having some options for those with food allergies.

I’m gluten and dairy free and was very excited about this place despite the mixed reviews. I got a brownie cupcake for $6 and it just tasted like extremely sugary dough. I was very disappointed and will not be coming here again.

Pictured is their gluten free bread egg and salmon sandwich that waa good. I loved this bakery. It gets very busy during the peak times but the lines seemed to move quickly. Because of how busy they are during peak times, seating can be a bit limited.

The two workers there on 5/31 were super nice. Definitely ask for a sample if you don’t know what you want. I should note that everything is dairy free which was awesome to hear! I got the birthday cake ice cream which was delicious and also a 7 layer bar which was soooooo good and also gluten free. Definitely coming back soon!

Nice cafe with a bunch of gluten-free snack options that have come in handy for me. Coffee and tea drinks are all good, but not standout. Can be hard to find a place to sit as it is always pretty crowded. However, we've always been able to get a place to sit without too much of a wait when we decide to stay. I had the gluten-free chocolate tart, which was rich, chocolaty, and not too sweet. The London fog was acceptable but seemed a bit underbrewed as the earl grey didn't come through strong enough for my taste

Had egg sandwich which was extremely salty and focaccia they used was cold. They give you a number plaque if you dine in, it makes you think they would bring it to you like tatte. They don’t, so I sat down while my sandwich sat cold on the counter… so why don’t they tell you to just wait by the counter? I liked them when I first visited them… not many pastries I wanted to try. Maybe it’s catering vegans or gluten free?

The place was nice however the options for gluten free with the bread choose was terrible. It was hard and the avocado toast with the GF bread was flavorless. So disappointed :(

Was looking for a sit down breakfast but when I got here it was absolutely crowded , so I decided to do take out : it was certainly faster and I enjoyed my goodies and coffee outdoors . This was a really good looking store with a very well presented display of goodies . They have lots of gluten free options to choose from including gf muffins , tea cakes , cookies and meringue. Their regular offerings are equally vast with croissants and breads and many other breakfast pastries . I chose a pistachio filled croissant with an iced coffee . Croissant looked amazing in the display but for me it fell a bit short in flavor . Seemed too plain for me . Also got two gf tea cakes : raspberry and a Halva sesame . These were really good and considering how hard it is to find good gf baked good they were better than the croissant . Worth stopping in early if you want a table otherwise take out is the way to go .

Gluten Free Beware 😭 I visited about 2pm and every single gluten free product was sold out except for a brownie. Not to mention they had run out of the gluten free soup, muffin and even iced tea…. The employee was extremely kind and caring, tried her best to make my experience better. Super impressed with your staff and will give you all another chance, but please, us gluten free friends are so desperate and it’s really a bummer not to be able to eat anything except a salad.

Elyse made my son’s 6th birthday cake dreams come true! Our entire extended family was raving about the decorations *and* the flavor. She has something for everyone at Weesh - the gluten free cake jars are incredible. Will be our go-to custom order bakery from now on, as well as a frequent weekend pit stop for treats. :)

No shade on Levain Bakery. Their regular cookies are excellent. And while I really appreciate that they include a wheat-free option, it is not very good. It's dry and has the fake flour taste. It's also not celiac friendly. I am only rating the wheat-free cookie.

I’ve only have good experiences with Tatte. Food choices are excellent. Excellent Gluten-free options, from the main menu, and baked goods, too. This location is perfect, with easy access to Northeastern and the MFA. I made a silly allergen mistake while ordering, and didn’t realize until the food arrived. The manager went out of her way to handle the issue, and have a new order sent out to me. No questions, no hassle, just great service. I really appreciated it, and I’m happy to recommend Tatte!

We found our way here because of its gluten free recommendations. And I'm told they did not disappoint. In fact, we went here on back to back days because of its selections and overall freshness of the food. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing + love the exposed white brick walls and the displays of sweets is pretty stunning. We enjoyed sandwiches, desserts, cappuccinos-- everything was delicious. Wishing we had one here in Toronto to be honest! Such a great spot.

Chili was mostly tomatoes and peppers. Caprese sandwich was good, but soggy. Mediocre GF bread. GF macaroon was good, sugary, and right next to the gluten brownies.
