Make reservations well in advance! This location was near the London Palladium where we were seeing a show. It is very important to note that Dishoom is very serious about allergens, but not all locations have the same dishes. The Carnaby location is a bit limited on its GF entree choices. Because of my husband’s many preferences plus GF needs, he felt his only choice was the Mutton Pepper Fry, which ended up being tender and delicious. There were more side and small plates that were GF or could be modified. The Carnaby location is in a bustling pedestrian area that is bustling with bars, pubs, and shopping. Our reservation was early so we had time to walk through Carnaby and into Piccadilly before our show. Specific note: if you have airborne wheat allergies, the bathrooms are in the basement and you must walk through the naan baking section and flour is abundant. It’s cool to watch unless you’re allergic.

My husband and I had a great experience at Bills. Our waitress Dora was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was incredibly helpful when it came to helping me with my allergies. They have an entire gluten free menu which was incredible and made me feel very safe eating there. I got the vegan and gluten free pancakes and they were delicious. My husband who does not have any allergies got the eggs royal and he said they were very good as well. This was a great place to eat if you have allergies or not!

A little claustrophobic inside as it’s a pretty small restaurant which I didn’t initially realise when looking online but overall a nice atmosphere with accommodating staff esp for my friend with celiac disease who were helpful & communicative & took all necessary precautions. ✔️🔵 Decent prices & within a nice location. 🛄⚪️ if you’re alcohol free I would recommend one of the 0% beers more so than the mocktails as I personally found my virgin mojito mocktail too sweet & not particularly enjoyable.

We had an amazing afternoon tea - the sandwiches were fresh and delicious with lovely tea, scones and cakes too. My friend who is coeliac was fully catered for with gluten-free sandwiches, scones and cakes. A lovely environment with great service - will definitely return.

We visited Dishoom in mid-April. And the food was awesome - the most authentic Indian food I've had outside of India ! However, our experience was muted by an important communication challenge. I was dining with a guest who has sensitivity to gluten. Dishoom has a clearly-marked "allergen" menu, however nobody on the restaurant floor knew enough about the ingredients in any dish to be able to guide us. Not the hostess, not the server, not the manager. They explained that the allergen menu was developed by the chefs strictly analyzing each ingredient -- and if any ingredient contained any risk of any gluten cross-contamination, then the entire dish is flagged as "containing gluten". (e.g. - so many (maybe most?) of the dishes on the menu contain no glutenous ingredients, but if a single ingredient may have been processed in a plant that also processes wheat or barley or rye, then the entire dish is labeled as unsafe for diners with gluten sensitivities.) Nobody in the restaurant was able to provide any additional information about the ingredients in any dish to help us assess the risks. This aspect of our experience was quite frustrating - and made more challenging by the very noisy dining room, which made even basic communication difficult. We nearly left without ordering food, but we eventually chose dishes based on the listed ingredients, and our own knowledge of the cuisine. Again - the food was amazing ... but the frustration and anxiety caused by the inability of the restaurant to communicate allergen information left the most lasting impression.

The first crepe I had - the (vegan) savoury Juarito (with avocado, 🥑 plantain and black beans 🫘) was so tasty that I decided to order a sweet crepe as well for dessert! I had the banoffee 🍌 which was delicious. The portions are a decent size, the service is quick and polite and they have vegan and gluten free options.

Incredible food, loads of amazing gluten free options such as Chicken Milanese and fish and chips, and loads of appetisers. Huge portions and probably one of the nicest pubs/restaurants to grab a drink at in the area. Absolutely reccomend, atmosphere and service were also amazing.

We sat beside the water, and looked over at the boats whilst we ate. We had vegetarian food, steaks and gluten free food and all of it was full of flavour and fresh. We would definitely come back, the staff were friendly and attentive.

What a lovely surprise! Popped in to Bill’s on recommendation of a friend and ordered the £5 Friday pancake brunch. I’m so pleased that our server, Emma, asked whether we had any food intolerance or allergies because despite being gluten-free for more than 20 years now, I do often forget to disclose. On mentioning that I am gluten intolerant Emma gladly shared there is a gluten-free options within the pancake brunch as well…such a treat! So glad that we chose Bill’s today and really grateful for Emma’s great service.

Delicious but there are a lot of “‘may contains” on the menu, despite the fact that there are no gluten ingredients in the meal. Frustratingly there was only two main meal options available for coeliacs, which was disappointing seeing as most of the menu could easily be naturally gluten free with a bit of thought!

We dined here last night and so surprised it’s not fully booked, the staff was amazing and welcoming - also made sure my gluten and dairy allergy friend knew exactly what she could eat and what it’s been made with. We were a large table and the kitchen sent out quite a few plates on the house which made our evening! The food looked and tasted incredible! The atmosphere and decor was also super cool which I didn’t expect. Had the most wonderful birthday celebration here and would recommend!

We were in London for a conference and needed to find somewhere to eat after arriving. We stumbled upon this bar, and when looking at the menu, we were recommended it by someone currently dining there as he said it had great gluten free pizza and pasta. So at 8pm on a Wednesday they thankfully had the time and space for us and were very helpful, nice and attentive. The food was great and I didn't notice a difference from what a normal pizza base would be like compared to their gluten free base. My colleagues were both very happy to have great gluten free food and I was happy to have gluten free with them so we could share our pizzas. If I am ever in London again, I will try to visit again. Thank you!

I previously had a great experience at NOPI but was disappointed this time. Service was super spotty. Lots of staff standing around but not serving or looking at the guests. We were downstairs and it felt like they didn’t want to serve our table or that we were in a different restaurant. It took over 20 minutes to get a taster of a wine before ordering. We ordered the food while waiting & the arancini came out within minutes of ordering which was strange & we hadn’t even got the drinks yet. I put my allergy on the booking yet they still asked about it & then took time to get the gluten free menu. When asking for advice for the food quantity the waiter was super unbothered and unhelpful. Very disappointing as it ruined the overall experience. Some of the food was still super delicious like the fritter & the chicken.

A busy restaurant, do book in advance. Nice decor with a stylish vibe. Efficient staff they really know what they’re doing, on the ball with customer service. It’s really helpful that they have a gluten free menu and to know that Cote are fully accredited by Coeliac UK. Takes the stress out of ordering! Staff are superb. Nothing was too much trouble. We were well looked after. Food is delicious and great value for money.

My wife and I visited for the 2nd time and on both occasions had G/f fish and chips which was fantastic. Very rare to find such a hidden gem that serves gluten free food and beer. Even booking my 60th birthday with them in the cosy bar downstairs for December. Definitely going to be our regular drinking hole from now on.

Lovely restaurant. Small menu but food was absolutely first class. Delicious steaks cooked to perfection and my daughters had an amazing pork chop and burger. Coeliac UK accredited but the reason for 4 stars is no GF desserts except boring sorbet! Would definitely return.

Honestly 5/5 we had a student bottomless brunch deal and everything was perfect, our drinks came out quickly especially for how busy the restaurant was!! Our server Fadi checked up with us constantly making sure we were okay, had our drinks sorted for whenever we were ready for the next, I personally have a gluten allergy and he toke note of that perfectly and recommended us drinks! It was busy considering it was a hot Wednesday night and clearly a lot of wait on the food but Fadi constantly kept us updated!! And our drinks were made perfectly! The mood was a bit ruined but a self centered table next to use who despite being told the wait kept being rude, laughing and snarking at the server who was clearly trying to do his job and as we were in ear shot could tell he was nice, friendly and even offered them free drinks which they complained about !! I couldn't believe it (there was about six/seven of them so it was a big table too and super rude / distracting as a customer) OBVIOUSLY this none of the servers fault at all considering they kept everyone updated about the wait and clearly wasn't staffed enough for how busy it was!! But our server and the bar staff who made our drinks handled it perfectly - honestly if I was our server I would've probably cried with how sparky and rude the table was.
