This was lovely. As a human with gluten intolerance it gets old feeling like I have to apologize for asking what the ingredients are and explaining why and what half the time in restaurants. Here, everything is clearly marked, our waiter asked about preferences right up front and was able to say what menu items to avoid and how other menu items could be easily modified. He was fantastic. The food and cocktails were delicious as was the ambience.

Service and atmosphere of the bar was great! Very nice people. The regular bread sliders were pretty good (I'm told). The gluten free bread was just okay. Taste and texture akin to an undercooked homemade biscuit, but it was certainly better than no option at all! We had banana pork, halloumi, and venison & pork. The pork was the standout - very good! I can only imagine how delicious the pork belly is. They have gf fryers for the tators and fries, but everything else is fried in the shared fryer. There were a couple options that were technically gf but were in the shared fryer; so they were cross contaminated. Service staff were great! They answered all my questions and were very accommodating. Not sure why Google lists this as a "new American" restaurant. It seems to very clearly be a Nordic restaurant of some sort...?

Ordered the small gluten-free holy shiitake pizza. It was absolutely delicious. The truffle aïoli is absolutely over the top. Also ordered a large thin crust, funky BBQ chicken, and it was also equally amazing in its own southern barbecue way.

This is my kids favorite restaurant. It’s one of the few places where we can find a gluten free burger and gluten free fries. All servers are great but Mina has always been super attentive, efficient and friendly.

The best place to eat with allergies! The food is amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to allergy safety! I felt like they actually cared! Even my family loved the food! Truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience! So excited to find they have one back home where we live also! This is now at the top of my list of favorite places to eat!

Doc Crow’s has the most number of reviews (+4,000 as of 4/2025) and they are all consistently high. Plus, I was in a hotel around the corner - definitely had to stop by. Ate at the bar. Great atmosphere - plenty of bourbon and beer for you to choose from. They have a dedicated gluten free menu - a photo is attached. All the meats and the obvious sides are okay - as are the wings. Got the wings and the ribs. I did politely ask if I could sample a small piece of brisket and was told my only option was to “order the sampler platter.” It’s great that they have that - but I’m not interested in sampling pulled pork or chicken. My preference is beef brisket and ribs. The ribs fell off the bone. The wings were good - nothing special. The baked beans were really good. The guy next to me was unhappy with the food, as he doesn’t like dry rub style and prefers lots of sauce, and he doesn’t like fatty brisket - they charge $2 for lean brisket and I guess he didn’t go for it. Again, I didn’t get to try the brisket and there is no ability to order just meat, and there are no 2 or 3 meat combo plates.

I was very disappointed with the gluten free pizzas. The crust was soggy and in general the taste of the pizza was not good. The pineapple on the pizza was hard and not ripe. I thought it was outrageously expensive as well. I paid $92 dlls for 3 pizzas, an appetizer and a small salad. No drinks. We all had water. I could have paid less money at a nicer place with much better food such as Carson’s or Bella Norte as this was a special occasion. We celebrated Mother’s Day here.

First time at BJs in Lexington and we are so glad we stopped. Our server Angel was amazing and kind! All the items we tried were delicious! Our party had the Kickin' chicken sandwich, gluten free chicken bacon ranch pizza, broccoli cheese soup, cheeseburger sliders, and couscous mac and cheese balls. Also the pizookies were a hit, I would recommend the triple chocolate one.

This was our first time at a Carrabbas in 20 years. Having Celiac I was impressed with how many gluten free options they had. I got the pollo Rosa Maria and it was very salty. The manager walked by and asked how our meal was and I mentioned it was great but over salted. I love salty food but even for me it was a lot. I was surprised that she comped my meal and offered to get me something else. I still ate most of it and used the mashed potatoes to cover up the saltiness. The ambiance and cleanliness was great! Our server didn’t seem like he liked his job very much and his tone made it sound like he was bored and didn’t love his job. My husband even cracked a joke about it after he took our order. All in all, I think we’ll go back again to try it out another time.

Visit # 3, we went today to use our inkind app cash back and to try the gluten free desserts by the Silly Axe Cafe as I have to have GF. The GF pina colada tiramisu was good but a very small portion for $9. We also got the cookies and cream cake slice for $9. Do not get this. It tastes awful. I know the GF desserts can have a different taste and I'm used to it but this was not good. Stay with the pina colada tiramisu. Visit # 2, was with our kids and they liked the golf. Visit# 1, First time trying South Seas. It was my husband's birthday today so we wanted something new. Everything was great! Drinks were awesome, a little pricy though. I had the Blue Hawaiian and Miami Vice. My husband had 2 of the beers on tap. Bartender was very knowledgeable. He was great to chat with. Queso and chips app was really good. Husband had the Cali double burger and I had the Duke breakfast.

Food was great but at this particular location they do NOT have dedicated pans and fryers unlike the app says they do. They have lots of gluten free options and are very understanding and accommodating, but also are upfront about how their food is handled. They had a sign talking about their policies and that there is a risk of cross contamination. The information on Atly is incorrect, but they do have tasty gluten free food. Just a decent risk of cross contamination.

Live in the neighborhood right next door and have been coming ever since they opened. Called this place our second kitchen. Went through a rough patch with service around covid but this place has bounced back. Great bartender (Justin), great food, gluten-free options, it’s our second kitchen again!

Caitlin was an EXCELLENT sever, and it was funny to try all the sauces. Very good GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. Big plus! Big fan of the smoky ketchup and the campfire mayo. The queso is some of the best american restaurant queso i’ve had recently, and they gave such a big bowl. Chips were great too!

I had a wonderful experience here last weekend! With Celiac disease it's sometimes hard to find a place that's safe for me to eat, but the server and the manager of Proof On Main both assured me of how seriously they take food allergies. It meant the world for the manager to take the time to speak with us. My meal was delicious and it was even better knowing that they care about food allergy safety! Next time I'm in the city we will definitely be back.

Great food, great service! Love coming here! Kara was our server/bartender, she did a fantastic job. I had the mini-mag nachos, which I loved, they're like loaded bbq nachos. My friend got the fire grilled shrimp and we shared. The manager, Billy, came out to check on us while we ate and made sure we were enjoying everything. I'm gluten free and not only does the menu clearly mark what I can eat, but Billy and Kara were both able to help me. Super impressed.

They were incredible to work with on dietary needs for food allergies. Delicious gluten and dairy free options that felt like I was fully participating in all the restaurant has to offer (from appetizers to dessert)! I was blown away that they offered me a dedicated fryer so that I could have soft shell fried crab for the first time, as well as yucca fries. I felt delightfully indulged and will definitely go back! We had a group of 10+ and they handled it with no issues: food came out timely, correct, and hot.

The bartenders were nice. Grant took our food order ( I specifically know it was him because I had to ask him about gluten free and what his favorite sauce was to which he answered BBQ) which I’m sure is great but we never got our food to know and instead of owning that he forgot to put it in, claimed he never took our order with a slight attitude. I hope your experience is better than ours because we’ve heard it’s great but this experience was not.

We went here to celebrate our engagement in early February. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My fiancé had called ahead and made some special arrangements and we were greeted at the door with them. The food was FANTASTIC. They gave us free champagne and desert. Also, I have celiac and they had wonderful gluten free options. Best Italian food in Lexington! The atmosphere is upscale and fun.
