Came here on a whim for Sunday lunch with my parents and we were super stoked with it! My partner and I are vegetarian and gluten free and there were heaps of options for us. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and very fresh. Service was great, $15 spritz on a Sunday, great outlook over Cotton Tree. We will definitely be back!!

My whole experience here just put me in the best mood. I have a severe dairy allergy and often people assume that means I'm lactose intolerant lol. It was so amazing to have the waitress come over, ask about the severity of the allergy, she was so careful to avoid cross-contamination etc. The food was great- so many dairy free/gluten free/ vegan options (including desserts!) Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Sooo impressed to see people taking allergies seriously!!! The vegan chocolate mud cake made my whole day. Thanks guys!

Vege Rama food is always fresh and delicious. As a coeliac I greatly appreciated the coeliac friendly gluten free options they have available, and the helpfulness of the staff in identifying and labelling coeliac friendly GF and non-coeliac friendly GF. The masala dosa, moussaka, and salads are a must.

Had a lovely valentines dinner at our wonderful local Italian restaurant. We shared the 1kg rib steak, was amazing! Plenty of Gluten free options for my coeliac friends. Staff are amazing and make you feel like family. Always love coming here.

Ordered takeaway - nachos, tacos and enchiladas. Upon pickup, the service was friendly and the atmosphere looked great. However, the food was not in line with the price. We spent over $120 and selected this restaurant due to the gluten free options (appreciative this is available and this is positive about the restaurant). The tacos were flavourless, and the nachos and enchiladas were bland. I am providing this honest feedback about the food quality for improvements. Once again, service was great and so was atmosphere.

Our favourite road trip stop! We have been here around 6 times over the past year (2 in the last 4 days) and it has been consistently sooo good! We are both plant based so the options are great for us, the vegan burger and the Moroccan bowl are our favourites. The green beans are sooo fresh too! Chai is great, food is clean and organic, staff are really nice and the amenities are clean. Definitely recommend stopping at Oliver’s over a servo snack, especially great for vegans and gluten free.

Great takeaway coffee with great service. Almond lattes were excellent and we had the choc cinnamon cookie which is gluten and dairy free and it was delicious! Would never have known it was gluten and dairy free. Highly recommend. Staff are super lovely, helpful, bright, bubbly and the coffee is excellent.

I am not someone to write negative reviews, however we were so disappointed with our experience here. I had really been looking forward to going, as I had heard great reviews from when they were in Mooloolaba..and as a person with coeliac disease I always get excited with wholefood cafes that have a big range of GF fresh food. The menu looked good online. I was disappointed with the rainbow bowl I received..the purple cabbage & stir-fried vegetables unfortunately weren't fresh & almost looked to be out of a supermarket package. There was a tiny spoon of quinoa drenched in a sauce. The mushroom on top was nice, however that was all I really ate..& I am someone who almost never leaves an empty plate :( Maybe our expectations were too high, or we just happened to come on a bad day, but we unfortunately won't be going back sorry.

Omgosh this is the best shop. The owner is so friendly and lovely and assured me that his pies are the best. I'm allergic to gluten so had to have gluten free and most definitely thr best pie 🥧 I have ever had. My husband is English and had pie and mushy peas and also said it was the best pie he had had in a long time. Well done!!! We will be back

We attend yesterday and we have two very sensitive coeliacs in our family. The chips are Gluten Free and the kids love eating them. Smoothies and drinks amazing. Staff super friendly great smiles and good sense of humor. We are definitely going back while we are on holiday.

Bought two pizzas through Uber eats, but forgot to tick the gluten free box. I called straight away and the man that took my order made sure they were gluten free, for no surcharge. Will definitely order again. Delicious gluten free bases as well

Bought some gluten free doughnuts at their market stall and they were divine! They do not compromise on taste or texture. Gifted some to a friend and shared the rest around the office and everyone who took one was a big fan - texture is light and not dense or overly chewy, flavour is cinammony and sweet.

This is the best bread around! We usually get the spelt (for low gluten purposes) and it is great. My kids won't eat anything else now - and why would we?!

1st I'm gluten free and the options were vast and I was so excited to have so much variety to choose from. 2nd the Service was lovely, 'Sid' served and helped us along with one of the chefs 👨‍🍳. Both were lovely. 3rd food was a good serve and was enjoyable. I'm going back tomorrow to eat something else on the menu 😋 Thankyou Highly recommend.

Thank you for creating a space for us to dine in on Mother’s Day. We were traveling back from a family funeral and I had forgotten that it was Mother’s Day until we were looking for a place to have lunch and everything was either closed or booked out. Thank you that you helped me to gift my mum a delicious Mother’s Day lunch. Thank you for placing the cheese for my pasta in a little dish on the side. I forgot to ask for no cheese as I have a dairy allergy so it was perfect. The gluten free pasta was great and the sauce had delicious flavour. My parents loved their vegetarian dishes as well. While they did have ability to make several dishes gluten free, or vegetarian/vegan. It was slim pickings if you’re both. The salad I had however was quite lovely. Though I would have had more cooked veg in it than raw. Some raw veg were cut in a way it was just awkward to eat, I’m grateful I wasn’t on a first date. 😂 Lovely staff & vibe for a special date night.

The reviews are correct this place is amazing. My coeliac wife ordered a large pizza gluten free. No issues and Sensational. Mooloolaba’s hidden secret. Ps Google maps has it in Burnett St but it’s in River Esplanade just about opposite Parkyn Parade.

Clean, comfortable well spaced out seating. Clear blinds kept the cold wind out. Service was good. Cocktail was delicious. Entrees tasted good but we’re way too big for one person (garlic bread and calamari). Nasi Goreng main was tasty but again way too much rice. Kung Pao looked and tasted good but was too messy to eat with your fingers (only way to peel the saucy prawns). Good to see a reasonable number of gluten-free options on the menu.

I've come here since 2010 and will always feel spoilt for choice. The quality and care the chefs go to exceeds my expectations everytime.. just perfection! It's like being in Italy. The staff are always well trained and attentive. Really suggest taking some time to walk through the deli too, you'll go home with some wonderful treats. They have lots of Gluten Free options in the restaurant and deli too, and they are actually delicious.

I recently visited Elk Espresso and was thoroughly impressed! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I never had to wait long at all, which made my visit incredibly stress-free. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated the celiac-friendly options on the menu; it’s refreshing to see a café that goes the extra mile for all its guests. I highly recommend Elk Espresso for anyone seeking great coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars!

I ordered the gluten-free pancakes for my daughter. I stressed that it was important they were gluten-free because she is a coeliac. She is now repeatedly vomiting. Clearly they were not gluten-free or were contaminated with gluten.

My husband and I decided to have a late lunch after the movies today. We were very disappointed with the food. My plain chicken and salad sandwich was the worst sandwich I have ever had. The gluten free bread was dried out, they forget the chicken and one half of the sandwich was old chunky piece of the heart of the lettuce and beetroot and the other half was a couple of pieces of cucumber and bit of grated carrot. They did put three or four pieces of chicken on it when I brought it to there attention. And I did get a complimentary coffee for next time. But not sure there will be a next time.

The food was delicious- I had a soup of the day and my family ordered a gluten free steak sandwich and a rump which was cooked perfectly. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely.

Always a great meal here with super friendly service and the best Coffee. The only reason I did 4 stars on the food is I would love a gluten free bun for the burger but always well prepared according to dietary requirements. Highly recommend this little Cafe 👌
