Great stop halfway between Perth and Margret river. Great playground for kids to stretch the legs and a nice shop for the adults to explore.
Huge selection of gluten free was an added surprise bonus
With a cozy vibe and a fantastic tea selection, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a chat or some quality reading time.

First time visit the park with my family on weekend.
Had fish and chips and chicken burger with a cold pressed juice called ‘strawberry lemonade’. Best burger and juice we have ever had.
Kids had ice creams too. Despite being busy in weekend, the staff members were very friendly and polite.
They have variety of food available for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and other alternative meals. Also, they provide tap beers too. Enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.
Nestled by the river, this cozy spot is a beloved community hub known for its welcoming vibe, stunning views, and memorable experiences.

Cafe by the River.
The people here are incredibly welcoming. They know you by name and remember how you like your coffee. The 'by the river' location has a magical charm, evident in the number of regulars who frequent this spot—some of them daily.
Food-wise, I have yet to find a better savory muffin anywhere in Perth. While the menu is extensive, my go-to comfort foods are the soup of the day (like their mushroom soup) and the bacon-and-egg toastie (gluten-free). Neither has ever disappointed me.
However, the main reason I keep coming back is the atmosphere. Most times, I visit alone, either before or after my river walks. Occasionally, I bring along a friend, a family member, or an ex-colleague. When I have overseas visitors, I make it a point to bring them here to share in the serenity of this place. The coffee and food here provide more than sustenance; they offer a unique experience.
I usually place my orders on the app, as I don’t always carry my wallet. On one occasion, I spent over 15 minutes trying to place an order through the app, but it didn’t work. Luckily, I found a $20 note in my phone wallet cover and headed to the counter. To my surprise, the staff told me, “The boss wanted to pay for your coffee today.”
I was deeply moved. Was it because the owner had observed me about to leave, stressed, having forgotten to bring my wallet ? Or was it simply because they had noticed I was a regular and wanted to brighten my day? I may never know the reason. But that moment encapsulates why this cafe is so beloved—the owner isn’t just running a business; they’re creating a warm, thoughtful community.
Chill vibes and a relaxing atmosphere make this spot perfect for recharging your day while enjoying delicious dishes.

Delicious. We enjoyed the caesar salad with gluten free croutons & the brocollini. The service was friendly & the unhurried relaxed style of the Cafe was just what we needed to recharge. Highly recommended

It was wonderful to have multiple gluten free options in such a small town. We ate lunch there 2 days in a row and got all our coffee from there! No regrets, thus was a fantastic place to eat and drink.
This spot offers excellent coffee and tasty treats, with fantastic service making every visit feel special and welcoming.

A favourite cake and coffee hangout for the family. The cakes are amazing and change regularly. The coffee is excellent, as is the Matcha Chai. The gluten free brownies are the best - dense and moist unheated, or light and gooey heated.
Great food at very reasonable prices. Went to have coffee at 4.30pm on a Friday and delighted to find they were open to 5.30pm. Not many cafes stay open after 4pm. Had a delicious chicken & avocado rye roll with lots of seeds, lemon cake (gluten free) & a mug of coffee. Coffee excellent too.
Best food choice for gluten free. Best coffee ever. Such friendly staff and service. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Toilets clean.

Shout out to the 3 guys working at Long Shot in WH Smith near gate 46 around 5.30pm yesterday (Tues 2nd July). We were looking for gluten-free dinner options on a very tight schedule. They couldn't have been more helpful in explaining the options, providing suggestions and then taking seriously the need for avoiding cross-contamination which is very important to coeliacs.
We both really enjoyed the gluten-free chicken ceasar on turkish bread roll and the normal (non-GF) roast veggie bagel. When our flight boarded early because the airline wanted to depart ahead of schedule, the guys were super-helpful in getting us out quickly and they didn't complain at all when we apologised for failing to have time to clean up our table when our flight was on final call much earlier than expected. Thank you for being so lovely and service-oriented! At $46, a bit pricey for 2 toasted sandwiches (albeit large toasted rolls) and 2 hot drinks, but hey, it's an airport ... and the super-helpful service made up for the price :)
A cozy spot with a personal touch, known for customizing orders and offering tasty dishes even with limited choices.

My sister and I are both Celiac and I am having a major surgery next week, which means I’m on a very strict diet with a long list of foods I cannot have. I ordered a salad and there we’re a few things I had to remove and ask them to replace it with other ingredients (eg, instead of the pesto dressing I asked for a teaspoon of olive oil). Not only did the staff listen to me and give me exactly what I ordered, but they also lowered the price of the salads.
My sister ordered an omelet, and although there was only a couple of gluten free options, the omelette was delicious and they also lowered the price for her as she cannot have the toast. The lovely lady serving us (I think her name was Geneva) was so patient and understanding, even though it was a busy time of the day. I only wish I had known about this service earlier and I would have come to eat more salads before my surgery.
The only fault I could find is that there was not too many Gluten Free options, however the options that were there, could be throughly enjoyed.
With outstanding service and a reputation for unique offerings, this spot is a must-visit for anyone exploring the area.

Had breakfast here today. Chai latte and coffee were delicious and mug sizes were great. Mama bear and smashed avocado dishes were divine. Found the sauce to mama bear a bit too garlicky for my liking but I'm sensitive to garlic. I added smoked salmon to the smashed avocado and changed out the bread for the gluten free option - very generous portion of smoked salmon and the bread was lovely. The eggs in both dishes were cooked to perfection. Drinks came out really quickly and food didn't take too long either. Staff were friendly, the cafe was clean and had a nice atmosphere with lovely music.
Relaxed vibes, beautiful service, and delicious dishes make this spot a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a laidback atmosphere.

For a 5 star hotel buffet restaurant, Epicurean didn’t deliver to our expectations..
Atmosphere : A big restaurant and too many dining tables to the proportion of the few main food stations on offer. This means long queues for the foods, it feels like overcrowded food hall.
We regret and wish have spent our money in an exclusive fine dining experience, and would have satisfied.
Foods: Oysters were a disappointment, worst we have tasted, creamy texture indicates it was frozen previously, we expect fresh seafoods. Sashimi salmon was okay, but not sure of the other fish sashimi. Good selection of deserts.
Most five star restaurant buffet would include soft drinks,( not this one), for $130/ head you expect they would give a little. some better buffet resto provides labelling of food (nuts allergy, gluten free etc), the chef came out and points to what were okay to eat for my son who has nut allergy.
Epicurean is overrated.
Good food served by friendly efficient staff. They have a good selection of gluten free foods which is great! You can also get a table near the window which provide a view outside of the shopping centre and clear blue skies on a winters day - paradise
Lovely busy cafe right in the busy industrial area, not much parking
They have lovely seating, beautiful friendly service, lots of product, yummy coffee had a few choices for the gluten-free sufferer. Couldn't complain about the seating the cleanliness the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, quality and quantity of food, pricing, speed of service.
They even have lovely clean toilets on site.
I would definitely recommend a visit if I was in the area.
Perfect spot for comfort food that hits the spot after a long day, leaving you satisfied and wanting more.

Would of taken a photo but I ate the entire burger with gusto! Yumm!
There’s also a gluten free option bun but I wouldn’t call it celiac safe just in case.
After two days watching over a sick child you realise you want something this is the perfect comfort food.
Simple and delicious.

Lovely cafe with lovely staff who actually know what a Coeliac is. Fresh gluten free cake as well. They accommodated a large group of us (9) ladies with speed and efficiency. Many thanks to May. Cheers Marie
We had breakfast and dinner here in the space of 4 days. Both times were excellent. Super cool vibe both times. The evening saw the restaurant fully booked out and for worthy cause as the food was delicious. We had a vegetarian in our group of four and myself gluten intolerant. They had a great selection for both of us. Particularly the vegetarians, as there is a seperate menu that is not advertised on the website.
You won’t go amiss to try this place for a special date night it for a friends get together!

Truly amazing food and wonderful restaurant. I'm celiac and the look after me wonderfully.
My only small negative was as the meal progressed it took longer to get served, (for drinks and plate clearance) as though we had been slightly forgotten compared to the tables around us.
But will 100% be back.
