We went to cafe to have afternoon tea. We were excited for this cafe since it has gluten-free and vegetarian dessert. However I don’t know what went wrong. The service was slow and they gave us wrong cakes. Then we waited for a while to get the correct ones. In the meantime, the staff was vacuuming the floor, which made the whole space very noisy. We couldn’t even have a proper chat.
The cakes were dry and the tea which my colleague ordered was from a brand that we can easily buy from the supermarkets. And they charged 10 SGD for tea. Overall, the food and drinks were not great.
Chill vibes and a cozy spot near the MRT with unique organic offerings and plenty of options for various dietary preferences.

We came to the Living Café for the menu: an amazing proposition of various gluten free and vegan options, all looking amazing.
That is where the goodness ended for us unfortunately. The food was bland, dry, clearly pulled together as you would fast food, with no attention to quality ingredients (tempeh burger and muffins were a particular disappointment).
The service wasn't necessarily bad, it was just non-existent. Living Café is another of countless restaurants in Singapore who have adopted the QR code ordering system, and yet still charge you 10% service charge. What did I pay for exactly? For someone to walk 5 metres to my table?
Finally, the state of the bathroom was closer to a dive bar than a family restaurant.
Overall, low quality food (despite the great promise), at high prices, and non-existent service.
With a lively atmosphere, outdoor seating, and a great happy hour, this spot is perfect for casual hangouts or special celebrations.

Gluten free pizza and lamb rack were the stars of the show. The ultra friendly Chinese speaking staff in an upscale Italian restaurant gave me the giggles, made us feel right at home! 👍🏻

Amazing vegan, vegetarian and gluten free restaurant. Highly recommended even for the meat eaters as food is genuinely delicious. Even our kids eat most of the food which is surprising. Pricing is reasonable an portions are decent.

While on vacation in Singapore, my wife and I discovered Wild Honey, a gem for those seeking a good brunch spot. With my wife being on a gluten-free vegan diet, it was important to find a place that could cater to her needs. Wild Honey exceeded our expectations!
We visited Wild Honey three out of the four days during our stay. My wife enjoyed their gluten-free vegan bread and salad, while I indulged in their delicious waffles each visit. Our waiter, Danish, was exceptional, assisting us on two of those days. He was not only very friendly but also took photos for us on our anniversary, consistently ensuring we were comfortable.
Although there were a couple of hiccups in the kitchen, the overall experience was positive and we would gladly return. I noticed some negative reviews regarding the service, which might stem from not everyone being as attentive as Danish.
One of the highlights was the thoughtful gesture from the staff who offered to sell us a loaf of their specialty bread to accommodate my wife’s dietary needs. Moreover, when she left behind a couple of pieces, they quickly ran after her to return them.
Thank you, Wild Honey, for a memorable and accommodating dining experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality food with considerate service.

Farcical non-existent service. 20 mins for drinks alone. And the website claims to be vegan and gluten etc free friendly. We asked for dairy free options and they refused to even toast without butter. The staff were rude and made no attempt to offer any dairy free options. The food is overpriced and distinctly average as well. There are many good spots at Dempsey that have a degree of customer service. Choose one of those.

Unfortunately, I have to give this a 1-star review. I told them I was celiac and asked if the burger could be made gluten-free and safe for celiacs. They assured me it was. However, after eating, I started feeling bloated and nauseous within a few minutes. It has been a long time since I felt this way because I take my diet very seriously. I’m not sure if it was the gluten-free appetizer bread they gave me, maybe it was heated in a contaminated toaster or grill, but something was definitely wrong.
I wouldn’t go back or recommend this place to sensitive celiacs or any celiac.
Expect a stylish vibe with unique interior touches, attentive service, and delightful surprises like special desserts.

Separate Gluten Free menu and the food was “Awesome”. We went twice during our brief stay in Singapore. My wife is a celiac with an allergy to gluten and they catered for us very well. One of the owners had a chat to us and was interested how we found the place and he was genuinely excited to get our feedback. This is more than a cafe, it is also a great licensed restaurant with a great vibe.

Wonderful experience. Russell our server was gracious and knowledgeable. This was the first time our daughter had been able to eat fried chicken since being diagnosed gluten intolerant- what a magical experience for her (I tried a little- it was delicious!). The barramundi was spectacular too. We will certainly be back. If there would be one little feedback, it would be to please kindly provide a GF option for dessert, as there currently isn’t one.

We had a very pleasant experience of dining at open farm community this afternoon. I had specifically checked with them if the spelt risotto was gluten-free. I am Gluten intolerant and new to spelt. I was assured that it is gluten-free and I enjoyed the risotto very much. However, when I checked on Google I found that spelt is a green much like wheat And it definitely contains gluten. I urge the staff To be more sensitive to Dietary restrictions of guests at the restaurant.

This is neither good nor bad. Mediocre but quite pricey. Well, it's rip off everywhere in Singapore so I cannot complain about the price at the moment.
I went there because it's plantbased and gluten free friendly. I had falafel plate, falafels without any wheat so reliable. But I didn't enjoy the sauce and its texture that much. And it costs nearly 30sgd..
And another plantbased ball, I don't see much difference between falafels and this veggie ball. Almost same but it was even more expensive because it was on the daily special menu. Don't get it.
It's quite popular among vegans and vegetarians I saw, but I think I am somewhat spoiled in other places than in Singapore to indulge variety of originally vegan and vegetarian and gluten free. I don't see any reason to return to this place.
And the toilet was disgusting... Not flushed and the it's right across the kitchen..

As a coeliac getting a menu in an Indian restaurant with items fairly clearly marked as gluten free was superb. We only ordered a few drinks but on the basis of what we drank we'll be back for a Thali tray this Saturday. I've had many lassis in my very long life and these were some of the best. They were so tasty that it's possible that I actually haven't HAD a real Lassi until now which is rather depressing to think about. Did I mention it's been a long life? Imagine the number of fake Lassis. Disappointing! I feel a bit of a fool to be honest. Something that won't surprise many of you. The lime juice was a bit like citrus sunshine enclosed in a sadly disposable cup. My angst about my impact on the environment was overwhelmed by what I was sucking down. Now I haven't tried the food but when I do I hope to be delighted.

Had a delicious Vanilla and Cinnamon Risotto which I must say was such a delicious and creamy GF breakfast / dessert option! I often come here for their other gluten free muffins and cakes . My kids love the brownie and cookies. It’s a nice area and the coffee and teas / chai latte always nice and warm 🥰

come on guys.
comically, laughably overpriced.
doesn’t even matter of the food ends up being ok, you are charging WAY too much. I have travelled extensively in Greece, Turkey, in Cyprus, etc and restaurateurs in these countries would laugh and/or cry if they heard about your pricing, especially for your dips etc.
An order of hummus and some gluten free bread and a water etc and its 25-30 dollars!?
Absurd.

We’ve been loyal customers of Baker & Cook for over a decade, and it remains one of our all-time favorite places in Singapore. The food is always fresh, wholesome, and full of flavor, and the service is consistently warm and attentive. The atmosphere — especially at our favorite outlet in Holland Village — is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for families and dog-lovers alike.
One thing I really appreciate is that they offer gluten-free options. The Simply Scrambled Eggs in the photo I shared is the gluten-free version, and it’s just as tasty as the regular one! Another must-try is the Big Breakfast — it’s generous enough to satisfy two hungry adults.
I can only share a small glimpse of the many meals we’ve enjoyed over the years, but we highly recommend Baker & Cook to anyone who loves delicious, healthy food in a friendly, feel-good setting. Thank you, B&C team, for so many wonderful memories!

Celebrated my birthday at The Colony. Wanted to try a different buffet. We arrived at 650pm. The service staff were friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was grand and with the setting daylight..it made the restaurant look bright. However, once the dark night sky set..we felt it was a little dim and with the cosy booth corner table we had, my son felt sleepy.
Service was excellent, polite staff and quick to assist and top up water and clear the plates. As I have gluten intolerance, instead of a small chocolate cake as I seen for other birthday celebrations, they were creative and made me a beautiful fruit platter with flowers. It was a nice refreshing end to a buffet.
As for the food, the cold seafood selection was a little disappointing when I compare to South Beach Kitchen, however to be fair it was a Tuesday menu and not their Friday Seafood menu. There were your cold prawns, shells, crab and oysters. Salmon, Tuna and Octopus sashimi and various sushi. Various cold cuts
The hot dishes were good. Love the Ribeye cuts and roast pork and black cod fish. The dim sum options were good. Love the Har Gow and the mushroom looking pao which is actually the salted yolk custard was delicious.
Don't forget the noodles station. We took the thick rich broth laksa noodles..seem like a crowd favourite. However, my personal preference is the Henessey XO fish soup noodles.. ask for more XO makes the broth pop. There were fried egg floss and chunky pieces of fish.
For dessert the signature popiah with peanut, yam ice cream and coriander leaves was popular. 5 flavours of ice cream and I liked that it's handled by the staff as it keeps the station clean and no cross contamination of flavours when left to guests to scoop their own ice cream. Plenty of sweet treats like chocolates and local kueh. I like the mango pudding with it natural sweetness and not artificially sweeten taste.

Nice chill cafe at the Kovan area, comfy seats, spacious cafe. We had their Mont Blanc tart and gluten free choc cake with vanilla ice cream, and Christmas half roast chicken. Cake and tart was not too sweet, v good, good chestnut taste in their tart. Really enjoyed my gluten free choc cake which wasn’t dry, crumbly or flour tasting. Loved the pairing with ice cream, give it some contrast in temperature. Chicken came with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Chicken was tasty, juicy, came off the bone easily. Friend really loved their Brussels sprouts and wanted to order it as a side but there was no such dish unfortunately. We requested for 3 water bottle refills and the staff obliged, also requested for other condiments to go with the chicken. Overall, a really lovely dining experience.

Tanglin Cookhouse was a great dining experience, this was my 2nd time to eat here! The food was great, especially the vegan big breakfast, gluten free options and the acai bowl. But above all, the service was impeccable, specifically our waitress, Alicia. She was so friendly and accommodating, that honestly she was one of the main reasons we came back and will keep coming back.

I had dinner in this restaurant in September 2024. We tried the 3-course tasting menu and I must say that they were all delicious, elaborate dishes but really well made. Excellent quality ingredients. They were extremely helpful in adapting some dishes to gluten-free versions. We were looked after by Arun, a super kind and helpful person, who pampered us a lot by giving us a dessert on the occasion of our honeymoon. The view is breathtaking, in short, everything is perfect!

One of the best places for gluten free cakes. Super grateful for the staff. Called in at 3pm to ask last minute if they had any gluten free whole cakes in store and they nicely held one for me to pick up at 430pm.
