We really enjoyed our breakfast at Mango. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great selection of dishes. The gluten-free pancakes gave me a great start to my Southeast Asia trip and I haven't found any others until now, two countries later. We also really enjoyed the matcha latte and cappuccino. Annie’s is an absolute gem in the heart of Lanai which offers a wide range of gluten-free and vegan dishes. With inside and outside dining available, the staff is very attentive and pay great attention to detail. The food is beautifully presented, and so delicious, we ate there three days in a row! Without a doubt, the nicest place for breakfast or lunch in the area!

It’s Good Kitchen was the best restaurant my partner and I ate at during our month stay around Thailand. All the dishes we had were delicious and they had lots of options for very cheap prices. I have celiac disease and they catered to that perfectly. I did not once have any issues with the food. The staff are absolutely lovely people, perfect service. I highly recommend coming here if you are in Chiang Mai. I can see why it is so popular!

The menu does state that they do not have separate space or facility to prepare the gluten free food. Despite this I showed my allergy card and they seemed to understand but make sure to be clear about your needs. I ate here and didn’t get sick the food was delicious.

She gave us great recommendations for things to do in Krabi, which was a nice personal touch. I was so impressed by the delicious pizza and sweets that I couldn't believe they were gluten-free that I ended up going three times in a short period of time. Banana cake, tarts, cheesecake, carrot cake, all of them are truly exquisite! It has a gentle taste that suits Japanese palates, and is not too sweet. The staff are also very friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is great. This restaurant is highly recommended for both those who are avoiding gluten and those who are not.

We visited this place 4 times in the two days we were in Pai! Not only are the food, atmosphere and staff all great but they also have a really nice shop. The abundance of food choices is exceptional, including vegan, gluten free and sugar free mains and desserts.

I ordered a burger. Unfortunately they didn't have gluten free buns anymore so I got a gluten free wrap instead. The burger was nice. It's great that you get salt, pepper and everything at the table in nice containers and complimentary water with cucumber. That's really a plus! I had a table near the toilet and saw the chef lady enter and leave the toilet with a rubber glove on and without washing her hands she went back to the kitchen. That's a minus...

The food is nice and the prices are decent. However, I’ve been twice here and both times the stuff we’re talking in a very intense way, that felt quite stressful but the peak point was when they asked me to pay for the black paper that has fallen down from my table. The tables are small and not always have enough space. Never been to a place where I will be asked for such a thing. And after I asked them to remove the rest of the set as I don’t want to pay for it if it fells down I was lectured how all restaurants have these salt and pepper sets. Nice that there is Gluten and Diary free pancakes option

I’ve visited this restaurant more than a dozen times and have also ordered delivery through Grab just as often. My experience has been consistent enough that I feel comfortable sharing a fair and honest review — especially since some of the negative comments I’ve seen seem more rooted in cultural bias or personal rather than actual dining experiences. Pros: I’ve only ordered hummus and falafel here. While I’m not a certified expert of these dishes , I’ve eaten both dishes hundreds of times in various countries because I genuinely love them. In every place I’ve tried them, the recipes were different — as they should be. Each chef adds their own touch, and this restaurant is no exception. Just because it doesn’t taste like what your grandmother made doesn’t mean it’s not hummus or falafel — it’s just a different version. The portion sizes are fair and satisfying — not too much, not too little. I really appreciate that they bake their own bread in-house. It adds a handmade, personal feel to the meal. I do wish they offered more variations in bread quality, including perhaps a gluten-free option. Each time I’ve visited — at different times of the day — I’ve been greeted quickly, handed a menu without delay, and received my food fast. The service flow is solid. The restaurant doesn’t advertise itself as belonging to any specific country’s cuisine. Some negative reviews seem overly nationalistic or territorial. In today’s global food scene (it’s 2025, after all), fusion and reinterpretation are part of the culinary world. If someone’s bringing your home-country dish to a different part of the world, that should be seen as a compliment — not a threat. Or better yet, open your own spot instead of nitpicking someone else’s. Cons: On several occasions, special requests were either misunderstood or ignored. This may be due to language differences, but it’s worth noting if you have specific needs. The restroom and the path to the restroom could use more frequent cleaning or a bit of an upgrade to feel more hygienic and welcoming. On a recent visit, a new admin or manager was a little over-insistent in pointing out menu items. It felt unnecessary. I can read and choose what I want without pressure. Despite a few small drawbacks, I enjoy coming here from time to time for some good hummus and falafel in the middle of Chiang Mai. The food is tasty, the portions are fair, and it’s always nice to have a familiar comfort food option in a foreign place. Cheers!

Super cute cafe! We had gluten-free pancakes and paninis, both of which were delicious, although a little more expensive. Generally also a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. We also liked the ambience. The cafe was located on a wooded hillside and was perfectly integrated into the surroundings with its wooden pavilions. We sat there for a while and enjoyed the vibe :)

Super helpful and friendly staff. Since I have to eat gluten-free, I had concerns, but the service was very informed and it was marked everywhere on the menu which dishes were gluten-free or could be selected as a gluten-free option. Drinks were also very good. The atmosphere of an Irish pub is very homely but offers not only a Sunday roast but also authentic Thai food.

I frequently visit flour flour, their sourdough is without doubt the best you can get in Chiang Mai. The smoked salmon bagel with fresh pickles is also delicious. Everything is. Super vibey inside and great coffee. Carrot cake also great, I could go on forever about all their great food. They also do a great job at accommodating for gluten free people. A cute vegan restaurant in the heart of Chiang Mai, the food is delicious , there are many glutenfree options as well. We visited this place many times, the Pesto fried rice and the papaya salad are just amazing and also the grilled tofu is yummy, but my favorites are the pancakes. And also there are supercute cats in the restaurant, I love how they are just walking around or sleeping on the chairs💓

They were able to cater gluten free for Thai food which was great. The depth of flavour wasn’t quite there for us but we were grateful to have somewhere safe to eat. My daughter is sensitive coeliac and no reaction. Very competitively priced as well.
