I was traveling a did a to go order. I got 3 pieces of fried chicken, French fries, and a brownie. The French fries were amazing. The chicken was less than stellar. The chicken itself was good but the breading was inedible. It was hard and brown and flavorless. The brownie was okay. Happy to get gluten free food, not worth the 40 price tag for 3 pieces of chicken, French fries and a brownie.

The first time I tried Seva in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I ordered the spicy green curry. While I'm not a vegetarian, I have a gluten allergy, so this dish was safe for me. I enjoyed it, but I felt it was missing some spices, so I added salt and pepper. My husband ordered the portabella caprese on a gluten-free bun. When the order arrived, we double-checked, and it turned out the bread was not gluten-free. We've had similar experiences at other restaurants, so we always ask twice. Since my husband and I often switch dishes to taste each other's food, we make sure everything is gluten-free. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to correct the order. Despite this hiccup, I still recommend Seva, especially if you're vegan, vegetarian, or have a gluten allergy. It's a safe place to eat.
This spot blends a casual vibe with attentive service, ensuring a great experience with a menu that's both diverse and well-prepared.

Service was great! Server was knowledgeable about gluten allergy concerns they walked me through the menu and the appropriate things that could be substituted so I could make a decision. There was more than just salad options. And they even had a dedicated fryer for French fries! I got a side of fries with my chicken and did not have any adverse reactions. I'd recommend when you make a reservation that you indicate any allergies they need to be aware of so they can be prepared and begin with that in mind. I would recommend them! Also it's not explicitly fancy, but definitely a snappy casual or higher kind of place. Plan accordingly!

Vertex is the best coffee shop in Ann Arbor. Great atmosphere (so many plants!) friendly knowledgeable staff, all gluten free snacks and lots of vegan options my personal favorite is the brownie! the coffee is delicious and roasted by the owner and they have signature latte flavors for each season which are all so yummy you can get a coffee flight to try multiple. the shop uses sustainable practices like compostables and reusables. I love that its locally owned and so welcoming to community! you can make your drink sparkly with pride and donate money to lgbtq charity. I really won't drink coffee from anywhere else in Ann Arbor or ypsi.

My book club has been meeting here, which is always wonderful. Tonight was our first time coming for dinner for a special date night. The food was excellent, from the tortilla chip flight to our fabulous entrees (the salmon and the cherry burger) to a delicious and unusual Indonesian dessert (pictured). Kaitlin took such good care of us. I especially appreciated her knowledge and attention to detail regarding my gluten free diet. We will definitely be back!

Tons of gluten free options, none of them apparently celiac friendly. Wife did get the gochujang wrap which she said was super tasty, and my raspberry mocha latte was delicious, just wish I could have eaten something.

Ive seen this place a few times passing by but never went in. Today i did and it was great. The service was kind, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was cool. The staff were serving me with a smile and the restaurant has these huge glass windows to let a lot of light in. They also have a lot of options; gluten free bun, vegan patties, a variety of toppings. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quality burger for that late night burger craving. 5/5

I was dying waiting for TAQ to reopen for the year! So glad they finally did so I could get the iconic nachos! Our server Nash was so kind and with my friend being gluten free and vegetarian she had a lot of questions but he was super helpful with that. I'd say it's priced pretty fairly for the quality and speed of the food. I spent less than I would've thought and had a delicious high quality meal with quick service. 10/10 recommend!

i love love love haifa falafel! the food is delicious and very reasonably priced for the portions, two people can easily eat for under $30. they're very understanding of dietary restrictions: my partner has to eat gluten-free and the staff here has never gotten it wrong, so kudos for that! for dinner tonight we got a chicken shawarma wrap, a haifa bowl, and a side of baba ghanoush... just delightful, wholesome, satisfying food.
there is more-than-adequate parking in the plaza, and plenty of seating inside. i highly recommend haifa falafel to anyone seeking yummy middle eastern food near ypsi/a2.

We made reservations to celebrate our 9 year Anniversary at Weber's. We frequent Ann Arbor, but this was our first visit to the restaurant. We will definitely be back! Our waitress Kelly was phenomenal! She asked about any dietary restrictions immediately after taking our drink orders. She brought me the gluten free menu and told us about the daily specials. They started us off with a bread basket with fresh baked bread, some toasted, butter and pate, which I skipped but my partner greatly enjoyed. We had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. The shrimp were humongous and full of flavor! My filet mignon was cooked with a wonderful char on the outside but still a perfect medium on the inside. The whipped potatoes were the best I've ever had, which is saying a lot because potatoes are my favorite food! My partner said the prime rib was a perfect medium rare and the au jus added additional flavor. We were so stuffed we couldn't order dessert, which was disappointing as they had a wonderful menu of delicious treats! Halfway through our meal we noticed they started the live entertainment with a piano player. It was a delightful surprise that added to the ambiance of the evening. I can't wait to go back! I'll be ordering the scallops next time!

My family has been going here for years. Before my gluten issues I would always order the French toast with Dearborn ham(it was my favorite). The food is cooked on one grill that is not gluten free. Service is Amazing. Wonderful hometown Coney.

Gluten-Free Delight at Zingerman’s Bakehouse"
I recently visited Zingerman’s Bakehouse in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The gluten-free bread they offer is a game-changer – located in the refrigerated section, it stands out as one of the best I've ever tasted.
Despite the long line, just a few days before Christmas, the wait proved worthwhile. The anticipation builds, but the moment you sink your teeth into their gluten-free bread, the flavors speak for themselves. It's evident why people are willing to queue up, especially during this festive season.
While parking is abundant, be prepared for a brief wait to get in, especially around the holidays. On ordinary days, the lack of a line makes for a more convenient experience.
Zingerman’s Bakehouse has truly mastered the art of gluten-free baking, making it a must-visit spot in Ann Arbor. Whether you're a local or just passing through, don't miss the chance to savor their exceptional gluten-free bread – it's an experience that lingers long after the last bite.
Wish I could eat them. They look and smell amazing. My gluten loving hubby was thrilled when I surprised him with a bagel the other morning. His favorite place!

The staff are super friendly. Food is delicious. The chef heard I had a gluten allergy and made a special dessert just for me that was AMAZING . I was dining alone and they made me feel at home. Great experience all around.
During the past month my brother and I pretty much ordered at least 2-3 times a week breakfast from Barry's Bagels and we are addicted! The prices are really cheap, amazing quality and the food tastes amazing! They have a great variety of bagels and wraps and they're even tailored for people with gluten allergies! I completely recommend everyone to go at least once to Barry's Bagels if you're in the area, and trust me that you will love it!
I have a lot of crazy and sever food allergies. I was thrilled when I read on their website that they cater to a gluten/dairy free menu. I called up to confirm and spoke with Mike. He talked to the chef about my allergies and was assured it would be fine. And it was! I was there Monday night, so sorry I do not remember the name of our waitress who was wonderful! The card with all the sides and allergies listed was a godsend. She was so helpful. The flank steak was great. The wine was very good. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make my food. We need more allergy friendly places like you!

I was grateful for the opportunity to check out Ginger Deli yesterday. The staff was very friendly. The food was fantastic; we tried the papaya salad, rolls and shrimp chips, with various yummy sauces. Always happy to see gluten free and healthy options :)
Am friends with the owner; he is a hard working, talented and sincere guy. I loved seeing his artistic side coming through in the design and drawings, and all his dedication come to fruition.

Such an unexpected tree to find delicious Staples in addition to Korean food. We came here for the Korean bibimbap which they will make gluten-free. Spouse got an amazing burger and fries. So so so tasty. Highly recommend.
This is my absolute favorite place in Ann Arbor (probably all of Michigan). I've had just about every item on the menu at this point and would order every single item every time if I could. It's even the best coffee in town if you ask me!
The owner is amazing and is happy to make recommendations and changes to orders based on dietary restrictions. One of my parents is vegetarian and the other is gluten free but there was PLENTY of food for them to eat here and Tamara was awesome with helping them pick everything out.
THEY ALSO DO AMAZING CUSTOM CAKES! This has become my go-to for all the cake in my life.
Do yourself a favor and start eating here today.
The food was delicious and came out quickly! I liked how customizable it was and it was super clear what was vegetarian/vegan/gluten free. With the reasonable prices, I’m sure we’ll be back!
Love the options at Sweetwaters. Hot and cold drinks as well as food. Dairy free milk options and usually some gluten free food options as well. Free wifi too.
This location is attached to/opens to the library. You can go in from the Sweetwater's entrace even before the library opens to use a work room or play in the kids area. The back library door is closed so park out front if you don't want to hike around to the Sweetwaters main entrance.
