Food we ordered was good. Waiter (Steve) copped an attitude when 2 in our party informed him of their severe dairy (anaphylactic) and gluten allergies. He was unwilling to explore options regarding the menu. “We’re busy in the kitchen. I can’t ask them”. If you go to this location, request to not be served by Steve.
With a charming Parisian vibe and a cozy atmosphere, this lively spot is perfect for a casual hangout.

Ok, so this place is AMAZING! Firstly, the fact the staff is SO nice and helpful is beyond awesome but they actually have gf options for people with celiacs and it all tastes SO good! I love the atmosphere, I love the service and typically go here a few times a week! Fantastic place!
With unique coffee specials and a cozy vibe, this spot offers a delightful experience that's hard to beat!

The coffee is amazing and the staff is well versed in food allergies. They even offer a military discount.
The gf baked goods are always delicious and are kept separate from gluten items. As a celiac I highly recommend this place as I have never gotten sick.
Vincent was an excellent server.
This restaurant could use a little refresh in the entry but I do like the local art in the dining area.
For a restaurant being so progressive with it's menu and careful with gluten/vegan cuisine I do not understand why there are not markings on the menu. Disappointed in allergens not being marked especially since this is a sister restaurant to Wheat Penny who despite the name actually does gluten allergy notices excellently.
Tonight I had a herb vinaigrette salad. I feel like someone was trying to be unique with the dressing. I've had a lot of vinaigrettes and salads. I never dislike a salad. I did not like it. The olives were oddly flavored. The cheese was good, but the dressing had herbs de provence or something odd in it I couldn't put my finger on. I feel like that's such an acquired to be taste, it should be mentioned or the dressing needs to be renamed or reformulated to be more like a goddess. It said it was lemon and didn't taste like lemon or vinegar or oil. Mostly avocado and herbs.
I highly recommend the caprese toast on gluten free bread. That's one of the best things I've had in a long time. The tomatoes were red, fresh, and juicy.
The burnt peach and macadamia nut cheesecake was not it. I feel like it has a lighter feel with more egg/custard taste than cheese. Needs more sugar and more cream cheese, more brown sugar crumble. Pass the burnt top and replace by peach jam or something like that.
I hope they are as celiac friendly as was shared by server. I'll report back. **Can't notice specific issues with gluten.
Also the two-tops were too close to each other to have no music playing. There needed to be background music because it was near impossible not to hear the entirety of the next conversation. One table should be removed in that row.
Although the restaurant met our needs that day I wouldn't be swift to return, but can recognize the value of a locally owned place with a strong following.
Charming coffee spot with a diverse selection of delicious treats and a warm, welcoming vibe perfect for newcomers.

Amazing coffee shop with a nice selection of foods, sweets and savory treats. (Gluten free selection is available) The ladies that we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming to us, as we were first timers on our visit.
The drive thru and parking experience has improved dramatically. They were able to address my gluten allergy and they have breakfast bowls that are gluten free.
Terrible customer service. They ran out of regular buns. All they had were chipotle or gluten-free buns, which you have to pay additional money for. That was not properly explained. Why make the customer pay additional money when you are at fault. When I asked to speak to a Manger to have the additional charges taken off, some rude and unprofessional person told me it was my fault for not choosing to have the burgers without a bun.

This is honestly my favorite restaurant. I have never tried African food before visiting here a couple years ago, now I can't get enough. The woman working the front desk is always so sweet and accommodating for my gluten free needs, as I always get the GF injera and it is AMAZING. Can't tell you how much I appreciate being able to indulge in this amazing cuisine properly with the traditional bread as a GF person. 10/10 recommend the Nanya Platter, something for everyone and it has a great variety all in one place. The Fitfit appetizer is amazing as well, mouthwatering and crisp.
If you're thinking about coming here, RUN don't walk, to try this amazing cuisine.
Staff and food were fantastic! My wife has Celiac's disease (gluten free) and they were very knowledgeable and gave my wife a rather large list of menu items to safely eat.
This spot boasts fresh, unique offerings with seasonal menus that keep things exciting, radiating positive vibes and passion in every bite.

If words like gluten-free, raw, or vegan make you shudder and clutch your chicken nuggets, let me just tell you that Katie has the magic touch - everything that she touches is magic. You won’t know it’s healthy by the taste, but your body feels the difference. Everyone there radiates sunshine and their passion for excellent food that fuels your body shows in every item. I’m a dairy loving girl, but the herbed cashew “cheese” is what dreams are made of. I haven’t had a single thing on the menu that was anything that didn’t have me licking the container when I was done.
It is a stroll down the road for me. The atmosphere is enchanting. Many options in coffee beverages. Also they've liquor for coffee beverages if you enjoy this. They've hamburgers and gluten free alternatives.
First impressions kind of stick with you and set the tone for your visit. We arrived at about 12:30/ 1 pm, for brunch, mind you they close at 2, we were a party of 2 and there were 2 tables available that would have sat 4-6 people. The owner greeted us and looked around eyeing these 2 tables while assessing the customers who might be finishing up. This was understandable. He asked us to wait a couple of minutes and continued visiting with his customers. Meanwhile (5 minutes, give or take), the two servers greeted us and desired to seat us but couldn't without owners' permission / fear of his displeasure. He finally comes back and takes a moment to look over the very same floor and decides to split the 4 top into two 2 tops, carrying one halfway across the dining room. The server sat us at the one table along side of room at our request. She the greeted us and took drink order, then we were approached by owner to move to other table in middle of room because he had a party of 3 walk in and "he couldn't set them in middle as it was crowded, but he could where we were". We requested to stay where we were, and he huffed off. While readjusting the table in the center to accommodate the 3... mind you, the round table is still available, and it is nearing closing... we then hear him conversing with customers about our desire to not be close to others as though it was offensive. It was merely a privacy and health precaution as one lives with elderly and fragile woman.
It appears this place is loved by locals. We came because of location and reviews, but did not feel welcomed, but rather an inconvenience and a bother to him.
Our server, Victoria, was great. She tried very hard to care for us in an uncomfortable situation. She was efficient, kind, and courteous. Thank you.
Thank you to kitchen staff for your efforts in helping me to have safe food to eat. I appreciate you and all your efforts.
The food we ate was good. Although, the staff was not prepared for persons with food sensitivities or allergies. It appeared to fluster the whole house when I presented requests to know and understand how they handled food... for gluten sensitivity and severe fish allergy. I eat out a few times a week, and I know what to look for concerning what I can and can't eat just by looking at a menu... ie. "fried fish- don't order anything fried, grilled fish - request option of special prep in clean skillet," but it is helpful if staff is trained and informed as well.
We also noted that the owner was checking in on every table (maybe 15 in total) and chatting, but he never once checked or stopped by or had shown any concern of our food or time in his establishment.
I normally review a meal or place as to whether I would eat that meal or dine there again... was it enjoyable enough to note "yes, I would." I struggle to say that for Christopher's... but the next time I am in town, I will consider a second chance.

The BEST restaurant I've been to in Dayton! This place goes above and beyond any expectation that I have for any restaurants. The hot tea was served in a French press, they created a house salad for me that was vegan and gluten free, and the rosemary potatoes and the zucchini were so absolutely amazing that I can't wait to order them again soon. You can see the little extra special touches in the pictures like the fact that they bring the fancy teacup with a little plate with a stirring spoon, a glass jar of honey, and the most delicious salad dressing I think I've ever had in my life was served in a glass dessert cup with spoon. I sent a tip to the cook, and I have only done that maybe twice in my entire 46 years. You seriously cannot go wrong here. I am ultra-picky, have lots of allergies, and cannot think of a place I'd rather eat.
Offering a cozy vibe and tasty options, this spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast experience!

I'm grateful IHOP has gluten friendly pancake option. Be careful with the omletes, as most of them have gluten in them. The egg white one did not and was yummy.

This is a real hidden gem with fresh salads and Mediterranean apps as the highlight. They are able to cater to gluten free folks with celiac as well as vegetarian/vegan dietary restrictions. Try the Turkish sparkling water and prepare for good service, quiet atmosphere and quality food.
Highly recommend the salmon, shepherd salad, Turkish spring water, and the rice pudding.
I feel aweful after eating gluten and they took so much time going through the menu with me. They were very knowledgeable on which items did or didn't have gluten and offered substitutions. For example, any sandwich can be made into a salad. They have gluten free bread for sandwiches and the merengue is gluten free and delicious! Coconut bars are gluten free as well.
Excellent pies! Gluten free as well as many regular varieties. We bought an assortment for a family reunion, and all of the flavors were delicious. The best banana cream pie ever!

Went for a birthday celebration, with a decent sized group and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Rachel took care of our party group. She was absolutely amazing and made a drink for some of us that she made up. It's vodka, strawberry puree, line juice and pineapple juice. Absolutely fantastic! Another pleasant delight was to find out how many gluten free options Dub Pub has. Their amazing potato soup, the pub fries and they even offer gluten free bread. (Please note: they did not have any gluten free bread when we went and that's totally fine. Still had many options) They also had live music starting up when we were about to head out for the night. Not sure if that's normally a Saturday thing because it has been a while but it was very nice. Great food, cold drinks and great service! Can never go wrong!
Expect a lively vibe with great music, reasonable prices, and a unique bike night experience that keeps folks coming back for more.

Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was very helpful and tried to assist me with what was gluten-free. The steak was quite tasty and thick. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. Bonus - they have live music and bike nights. Will definitely return here!!
Nice prices, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff who know what they're talking about. Great place to hang out with friends day or night. All the tacos I've had have been really good and can be made gluten free when you ask for corn tortillas. Also a great place for margaritas if you get any of the $8 ones!

I ordered a holiday drink, cookie butter, and a Turkey Bragel so I could get the Black Friday special, a bag, a mug, and a bag of BIGGBY COFFEE. Cookie Butter is yummy! 😋 I am gluten free, and, since the bragels are not GF, my husband enjoyed the Turkey Bragel.
Mudlick Tap House is located in a great building in downtown. The building has been home to a variety of businesses including Aquarius dance bar. I like that they left the cozy entrance as it is. The inside was redone in rustic wood making it a down home feel. The only gripe is how noisy it gets due the acoustics of the room. In the end it is a bar..but a bar that offers chef quality food made in house and carefully prepared and presented.
The menu is eclectic and unique and the chef throws in a weekend specialty menu that brings the available food options to the top.
I had the Ozar Salmon over a bed of wild rice, with corn, purple potatoes. I normally don't like wild rice but this was recipe is delicious. The flavors were perfect in the potatoes. The texture was also good.
We started with the deviled eggs. I love any place that offers deviled eggs. However, I did think the mustard was a bit heavy and the radish garnish didn't do much for the flavor. They were still great!
My friend had the gluten free mac cheese with a side of scallops which she said were some of the best she has had.
Our waiter was great and knew the menu well. He also likes the scallops.
Overall, is say this place is a must go once the again and again. The spirit menu was good offering a range drinks. Old fashion made with Bullet sticks out. They also gave Ginger ale.
This place is good for small or large groups. The bar us good for the solo experience. O yeah..they have a patio. I can see how it can fun at night.
One negative experience with Mudlick is their website. The menus link goes nowhere. It could use some uplifting all around.
Expect generous portions with unique takes on classic sandwiches that leave you wanting to come back for more!

I am gluten free and very used to getting ripped off with the potions of a sandwich because gf bread is always so much smaller. HOWEVER - this was the first time that I was actually served TWO whole sandwiches (each smaller) because of the size of the bread! My daughter and I both ordered the turkey Rueben and it was incredible! I almost ordered a salad but will do that the next time! They looked amazing and were huge!

Disappointing experience. I loved the vibe, was excited to support a local business with so many vegan and gluten free options.
But the food wasn't good, and overpriced.
$3.50 for a Diet Coke, which was a 12 oz can. Coffee was weak and flavorless, barely more than tea.
Wanted basic chicken and waffles, got talked into a more expensive sandwich version with tots. It had a dry burnt gluten free waffle-bun over a disappointingly thin "breast." Couldn't even eat the "bun."
Partner's sandwich also had a thin disappointing chicken breast on her $17 sandwich, which was supposed to be on Texas Toast, but came on just toast.
$55 for a meal that I could have gotten better elsewhere in Dayton for $30.
Service and tots were good, but I won't be back.
