Went for brunch with some girlfriends this morning and Augustine was our server. He was fantastically funny, charming and made us feel very welcomed and like he enjoyed taking care of us. Service was quick even though it was extremely busy, and food was delicious. As a gluten free person, it's tricky to find GF pancakes at a lot of places, and I was thrilled to be able to have some here! Definitely will be returning in the future.

went here for brunch! had a latte and egg scramble, waitress was educated on celiac disease and said that the eggs were cooked on a stovetop without gluten (toasted bread, etc). substituted toast for fruit at no cost. i didn’t have any symptoms afterwards!

Not only was this cake beautiful and delicious but I felt amazing after I ate it (and I ate a lot)! It wasn’t just those of us with sensitivities that loved it, but also the gluten and dairy lovers in the family. I highly recommend BLB for any special events. They worked with us to create this beauty, and it went perfect with the vibe of our wedding. Thank you for being such a dream - not just on my wedding day but anytime I need to treat myself. I highly recommend visiting this place, especially if you are looking for great tasting gluten-free and vegetarian options. The vibe is excellent, with an inclusive and friendly atmosphere. The portions are big and the taste and quality of the food is great. The only disappointment I had was that I was expecting the beer to be on tap, but was instead served a can. I would rank this restaurant as good value for money.

I got an avocado and egg sandwich with gluten-free bread. It was so good and the fresh fruit on the side was really good too. It wasn't loud in the cafe and the overall atmosphere was really relaxing. I really loved going here!

Love love love. Lots of gluten free options, they have a dedicated gluten free menu. We went on a week day, so it wasn't busy. But they say weekends are very busy. They also have igloos!

Atmosphere was trendy and cool. Servers were nice and accommodating for dietary restrictions. We waited a very long time for food, and it was toward the end of service, so it was unclear why. Food was very good. Spamelette was really unique and flavorful. My stomach was upset for a couple hours after eating though, perhaps from the richness. But my friend was also quite sick after she ate a dish they prepared dairy free, gluten free.

EDIT: THE FRIES ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE!! Went for a birthday lunch, the restaurant itself is cute and clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a few gluten free options, i had the grilled cheese with tomato soup on a gf bun. The side of fruit was amazing, and not the typical selection that most restaurants have. A little disappointed there wasn't at least one gluten free pie/dessert option. But my friend had a slice of the banana cream pie for his birthday and said it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend, and will definitely return.

These wonderful folks took care of us and took immediate notice when one of us mentioned Gluten Free. Eating out while looking for GF options is a pain in most places, but that is not the case here by any means. Wonderful experience all around.

I love the food at the National. As a family with a vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free they have something for all of us. They have an order at the table set up now which is convenient with children. It can get very busy on weekends but during the week there's always room.

I review gluten free friendly restaurants in the area, I called to ask if a couple of menu items were gluten free, the first lady on the phone that I talked to wasn’t the nicest, everyone has bad days though. The second lady I spoke to, (could have been the same person) couldn’t hear me very well it was probably very loud in the restaurant but I have a high pitched voice so I apologize. They told me on the phone that everything was cooked on the same surface so they couldn’t offer a gluten free experience, but I’ve never had a reaction at Denny’s or other places that say the same so I decided to try it…. And no gluten reaction!! The food was so delicious and the portions were quite big and filling!! The fruit cup was bigger than I thought it would be! If you’re gluten free and have never had a reaction at Denny’s or places like that then you should definitely try toast! ;)

What a find, so happy we discovered this place. My wife and I are mostly vegetarian, my mom is strictly vegan and gluten free, and my dad is straight up carnivore. There were enough options that all of us were incredibly satisfied. Whenever my parents are in town we’ll be coming back! Flavors are amazing and entree prices are super reasonable. Keep it up ❤️

i just had the best experience eating here!! Allie was the sweetest and most considerate waitress, and she cared for each and every person in our group. she went above and beyond to make sure my meal was gluten free and i would not get sick (i have celiac disease and get sick eating just a bit of wheat). Plus, she made my aunt’s day.. it was her bday and Allie made her the sweetest little dessert <3 thank you for this wonderful experience

Very much enjoyed my lunch here yesterday. Was greeted right away and was able to sit down immediately. Water was brought to me and only a very small wait until my order was taken. The burger was great and cooked to my request. The gluten free bun was also very good. Recommend!

As a celiac, I have had a lot of issues finding gluten free breakfast options. The gluten free pancake is so great that I could not believe it was gluten free!!! Very fluffy, and full of taste, it also doesn’t crumble apart like most gf options do. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would! Great service and great food (:

Food was decent, black beans was more like a porridge. Service was polite and attentive. This location has both indoor and outdoor eating. They had some local beers on tap along with some Mexican favorites. Menu had vegan options available as well as gluten free options. They do offer daily drink specials as well as specials if you get three tacos.

Love the protein waffles here and the smoothie bowls. Also the smoothies are delicious as well. Favorite part is everything is made fresh and healthy options for those of us with food allergies. Also try their gluten free protein balls.

It was delicious the waitress was amazing I order the frijolads i think thats what it was called beans season perfectly chorizo con huevo in tortillas it was my fist time will definitely return with more people must share with others my sister got the gluten free pancakes as well as Chile's queles i thonk thats how you spell definitely recomendado 🙂 everything was price appropriately

Great meal here, I appreciated the gluten free options and enjoyed the cast iron pork, and we liked the list of mocktails too, things like lavender lemonade and house made ginger beer and turmeric tonic. Cool atmosphere, very stylish aesthetic.

I absolutely love this place and order delivery all the time. I have Celiac Disease on top of being a vegetarian and it's hard to find somewhere that consistently follows directions and always gives gluten free food. I recommend for other Celiacs, I think they're safe and they have lots of GF options. I've even done the choose your own 3 tacos and they've replaced tacos that weren't gluten free with GF ones. I had thought the plantain was GF but they replaced it with the same as my other tacos. Some people may have preferred they called to ask about substitution, but I prefer my food be gluten free more. I think it goes to show the attention they have to food allergies and extra directions included with orders. I particularly like when they include the allergy stickers on the box but I don't know if they do that anymore. Overall, I recommend them. The food is consistently great and I feel safe eating with them. Hopefully they continue with their allergy training and checking the extra notes section of their delivery.

American brunchers will love it, and foodies looking for interesting fusions will love it. The sweet potato chili crisp waffle was delightful, the ube cheesecake was light and sweet, the pancakes fluffy and buttery. Also, a surprising amount of gluten free options.

Enjoyed the Pink Brunch with a group of 12 here. The group enjoyed their food overall but I wish there were a few more options for the food allergens in our group (pescetarian, celiacs.) There was a mix-up of the non-alcoholic and regular mimosas which isn't fun when the group includes pregnant women. I also think for making the entire table partake in bottomless drinks refills should have occurred more often. Ambiance and decor were great and our server was kind. Glad we all found free street parking really close too!

Absolutely one of my new favorite restaurants in MKE. Fresh menu monthly, gluten friendly kitchen, knowledgeable staff, and amazing food. The best beef tips I have ever had. The meat was so tender a knife was not needed.

Everything was excellent! Our server was very attentive. My husband is GF and the server explained everything that could be made gluten free. Love how a chef delivers the food to the table. We started with warms olives and feta, meatballs, and the whipped cheese. It was all delicious. My husband ordered the Branzino GF. They subbed Broccolini for the cous cous. He said it was amazing!! My BIL ordered Hanger Steak and said it was fantastic. Didn't even need a steak knife to cut it. My SIL and I both ordered pizzas. She said her Margherita was really good. I enjoyed my Truffle pizza. The only thing I would add to mine would be a hot honey drizzle or something just to round out the flavor. But it was still very good and large. Looking forward to the leftovers. The cocktails were also fun and inventive. The Montebello was delicious. And I was told that the Fig Old Fashioned was great too. We walked around after dinner and then came back to the bar for dessert. The chocolate dessert is GF (can't remember the name). My husband enjoyed it. I tried the Butter cake with toffee ice cream. It was sinfully delicious. I was just too full to finish. It brought me back to when I was kid a Christmas time....(like the flashback in Ratatouille 🩷) I wish I could have finished. If we are ever in Milwaukee again, we will definitely be back!!!

Everything is always delicious! I try to always order their rotating or seasonal special bagel sandwiches because they do a great job of creating unique sandwich options you don't find other places and they've all been great. My wife has a gluten allergy and being able to sub the bagel for a potato latke on her sandwiches is a nice gluten free option. Add one of their parfaits to your order and grab a bottle of their homemade hot sauces when they have them in stock. You won't be disapointed.
