OMG! We didn’t expect to find such a place with offers as gluten free choices of Arancini, and other forms of pastry. And, Tasty! Before ordering, please follow the rules to take a number ticket at door. Some people were so confused and stuck in shop to block the traffic 🤦🏼‍♂️ The girl who took our order was so lovely. Making sure we are ordering gluten free food, and told us how long we should wait, and remembered how we look like so she’s able to locate us when we were waiting outside. If you are celiac visiting Taormina, you got 1 more place to go. My celiac partner has no reactions at all so we are sure it’s safe.

Came here because I have a dairy and gluten allergy and I found it through another website. It’s was just as you get into town, incredible service, food 12/10 and attentiveness to allergies was amazing. I felt incredibly confident in ordering - had a gluten free pizza with no cheese (they do have a lactose free cheese!) and it was amazing. Our server, Carmena and another gentleman who served us were amazing, we had a great time.

Gluten-free pizza, great for celiacs! It had a bit too much cheese for me but still very tasty. The staff is wonderful! They walk around constantly to check if everything is okay and are very friendly. Nice setting at the beach with an amazing view.

On a gloomy day I chose to try a new environment a few steps from Messina. welcoming, clean, the right music, but what determines the quality of everything is the owner who transmits the preparation of every single food to you... you eat like heaven without gluten, and yours too... the love for dogs is tangible

The staff were very courteous and helpful, very attentive to the kitchen, we sat down at 2pm and left at 4.30pm. Dishes freshly prepared by Maria Prima of good quality, the peppered mussels and the platter of cured meats and cheeses were decent, the "stormy sea" appetizer a little less so, perhaps for us they were a little particular tastes. I highly recommend the first courses, all of which are excellent, from linguine with lobster to those with clams, the meat is also of good quality, the swordfish a little less so, but as you know, it's not the period. The wine list is also good, as are the desserts, especially the artisanal panettone "overflowing" with chocolate, inside, outside is in addition!!!. Excellent value for money we paid 35 per person and moreover it is possible to have almost all gluten-free dishes. Highly recommended place

I can only give 5 stars. In this activity you will find smart, helpful and super welcoming guys (and also attentive to your needs, here I ate my very first GLUTEN-FREE cannoli). About 40 people showed up without warning and they, kind and welcoming like very few people, made us sit with friendly smiles accompanied by an atmosphere of bilateral light-heartedness. a warm greeting to Marco and Bartolo, two of the main faces of this place. Super recommended, if you want to eat/drink well and like good company, La Vela is the place for you! Greetings from Perugia ❤️
