Went for dinner here after a show at the Honda Center. Lots of seating at 6pm on a Saturday night. Lots of gluten free options. Had the shrimp tacos which were 3 hughe tacos packed with shrimp. Fantastic flavor and all gluten free. Free parking.
Get ready for a cozy spot with a homey vibe, extensive menu options, and a lovely patio that's perfect for a relaxing meal.

Years of incredible vegetarian & gluten free along with really great comfort, food and simple meats and proteins. Don’t forget to buy a cookie before you go. They are the best wish I could eat their pie still but it’s not gluten-free. Love the patio. Love the inside. Feels like home.!!!
With a cozy vibe and a stunning design, this spot offers a unique seafood experience and a diverse menu that's worth exploring.

Food allergy review:
I rarely leave a place without ordering, but the gluten-free menu at this place is an actual lie. They don’t have any indications about cross-contamination risk on their paper menus.
I first asked about whether they had a dedicated fryer for the gluten-free fish and chips. They said no. I understand that sometimes there’s confusion about fryers, so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I then began asking about their grilled entrees and quickly learned they were unsafe too. For example, they had a black cod special on the menu that was marked as gluten-free. I asked whether the caramelized fish sauce was gluten free, and they said yes. I then asked if it was made in-house, and they said no they just caramelize store-bought fish sauce. I asked to see ingredients on the label, and the first ingredient was wheat.
Then they began insisting that the second special, a grilled halibut with a green verde sauce, was gluten-free. I asked whether the verde sauce had beer and they could not answer me and said they could leave it off. I also never got a clear answer on whether the masa dumplings had any additional flour added or if the baking powder contained gluten, or whether they steamed them with water previously used for gluten-filled kitchen items.
I explained that this meant the items were not gluten-free, and was told the manager believes these things to be gluten-free.
This is very much a place that calls itself gluten-free to appeal to fad dieters. Stay away at all costs if you have an allergy or celiac disease. I don’t have a problem with places not having the resources to accommodate gluten-free people (it’s hard to do so!), but be honest about it. For many people, it’s a matter of life or death to claim boldly that something is gluten-free without actual knowledge.
Praised for its excellent service, calm ambience, and particularly its amazing Fisherman's Stew; folks are already planning on the next visit.

I have a severe gluten allergy (celiac disease). I told the waitress and she assured me that it would be communicated to the kitchen etc. my salad came out with croutons in it. I told the person who brought it that i have an allergy and made sure to ask him to NOT remove the croutons, but to please get me another as even a crumb could cause a reaction. He said okay and brought it back out and i see two crumbs on the salad .. i told him that i cant eat it because there were croutons on it. He rolled his eyes and brought it back to the kitchen. My dish came out and it seemed fine. But i want others with allergies to know that it isn't a safe place to eat if this is how they treat allergies.

Love the fresh/unique food they serve. Very happy that my gluten free husband has many options in food and drinks. I also love the custom drinks, a must try!

Great food. Good service. Amazing location. The prices were unbelievable for the quality. Burger was top. Truffle fries were delicious. Blackened Mahi tacos some of the best I've ever had. Also tried the arugula prosciutto pizza on gluten free crust. It was out of this world. Can't recommend enough. The room was inviting and for a full house not over packed. Lighting was soft and chill. Plenty of TVs playing live sports. Great experience. Highly recommend.
Charming vibe with outdoor seating perfect for people-watching; delicious crepes and beautifully crafted lattes make for a delightful visit!

I recently ordered the gluten free Le Champignon crepe (with eggs, mushrooms, caramelized onion, spinach, goat cheese, avocado, & house aoili spread, added pesto) through Doordash, & I really enjoyed it! The gluten free crepe batter is yummy! I can't wait to go back & try another one! I
I also got a side salad with balsamic vinegar & it was good, what you would expect. I only wish they had roasted herb potatoes, that would make a perfect brunch!

It was my first time coming here. I went out with a group of co-workers and Friends. All of the many dishes looked and smelled delicious. I tried the spaghetti and meatballs which were decadent and Rich with the sauce. I also tried the gluten-free pizza and a bacon-wrapped blue cheese date. I would definitely come back here. It was very chill and relaxed. And the staff was amazing and professional and super helpful explaining all of the specials.

I was looking for a wonderful, casual restaurant that had solid, gluten-free options. The lazy dog was a perfect fit! Heather was a fabulous, attentive and friendly waitress. When she learned that it was our first time at the restaurant, they surprised us with a special small plate! The parmesan chips were so tasty! Highly recommend the Coconut Mojito, if you are looking for a cocktail. The atmosphere is fine, clean, and, of course, a tail wagging good time. I took home a doggie bag and can’t wait to go back!
Such a homey, comfortable, delicious place to share a meal with loved ones. It gives new meaning to the phrase “comfort food.”
Their breakfasts are divine. Hubby likes the Belgian waffle breakfast combo which is delicious and also a big portion. Their eggs Benedict are also very good, and they readily accommodate special requests, eg gluten free with no English muffin, eggs poached well, extra hollandaise. No hassle, no up charge. Their breakfast burritos are also spectacular (cut in half, cuz it’s big), and they’re generous with salsa.
The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. They’ll gladly walk newbies through the menu and make recommendations, it they won’t hang out too long. The staff are moving, and the food comes out fast. Service is seamless, and they fill up water and clear dishes very quickly. Also, the patio is a very lovely ambiance. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, it’s a great place to connect and people watch. A few tables even have built in heaters (mini fire pit). There are heaters throughout the patio area, so you won’t be cold outside despite a winter chill. The parking can be a challenge if you’ve never been here. Don’t panic. Just go 1 block on either side of Glassel street for public parking lots (free). Avoid parking on residential streets in the adjacent neighborhoods, as permits are required in some parts of old town Orange.
Highly recommend.
OK for my fellow gluten-free friend here’s the hint Monday morning the deep fat fryer is free of pollutants so I had fried chicken that day. But for the most part barbecue chicken half chicken with a side of green beans and their barbecued corn cannot be better. It’s too bad people can’t learn to make cornbread without gluten it’s so simple just use corn flour, by the way it’s called corn bread, it uses corn meal, why ruin it with wheat flour? I wish they would serve it with pickles when they don’t give you big pieces of Texas toast but sometimes they will kindly substitute the bread for some pickles. The bacon is somethingThat is so good you may not want to try it because you’ll be addicted. The service has greatly improved the restaurant has greatly improved I can trust it now

Delicious and fresh, as well as reasonably priced. I love that they have a little bar inside. The service was great. Not that this is a selling point for me but almost all items on the menu are gluten free. We'll definitely be back!
Great value with generous portions and a diverse menu, perfect for a fun group dinner without breaking the bank.

Lots of food for the price. The service was excellent, as the waiter made sure to take precautions for my gluten allergy. I had a separately prepared red snapper with the sofrito, beans, and rice.
My friends enjoyed the appetizers, paella, and plantains. It was $100 for 5 dinners with appetizers and salad and dessert, no drinks.
Creative drinks and a lively vibe enhance your experience, with standout dishes like flavorful pasta and fluffy cornbread.

A lovely and very cozy café down an alley in the Orange circle. The woman working here is very polite, kindly points out what they're offering, and is more than happy to discuss further details of the ingredients.
They have a selection of 7 organic teas (2 uncaffeinated) and their coffee is a dark roast. They offer pastries, desserts, and milk based fruit smoothies. They had 3 gluten free options when I went, all made with almond flour. Everything looks very fresh and my order tasted absolutely delicious. I tried a coffee and several pastries.
I had their Spanish latte, which has milk, espresso and condensed milk. As a very casual coffee drinker who enjoys sweet Starbucks drinks this was definitely reminiscent of that. It's more refined with their fresh espresso, but sweet enough for my tastebuds without being the sugar fest I'm used to. The dark roast is still able to really come through while maintaining a smooth flavor. Absolutely recommend it.
The pastries I ordered were the guava and cream cheese puff, the hazelnut croissant, and a peanut butter cookie. I really do recommend everything I tried and would expect the quality to be equal throughout the offerings.
The cream puff was large, light and flaky, and had a good ratio of cream cheese to guava. It had a nice moistness of the dough. The croissant was a medium size, thick and crispy, flaky, and had a good layer of chocolate hazelnut cream. The cookie was topped with chocolate chunks, had a nice nutty flavor, and was well sized, about the same as my palm. The edges were nicely crisped and the inside lightly moist so it wasn't too heavy or mushy in the mouth.
It felt very community, corner café with just a few tables inside and a number of tables open in the alley outside. The morning was quiet, with just a few people inside including myself and people intermittently passing through. The lunch hour was busier, but no one was ever left waiting for longer than 5 minutes. The pricing is affordable and guaranteed you'll spend less than $10, but you'll always want to spend more.
If you're in the area and looking for a small treat and drink to relax or do some work, then this is absolutely the place you're looking for.

The Streamliner Lounge is a unique place with a neighborhood feel and excellent service. As a customer, I feel appreciated. The menu is traditional food that they make their own with personalized twists. Any exceptions I’ve asked for they accommodate if they can. They even have Gluten Free bread for us GF people.
Its nostalgic decor is what draws people in and I hope they never change it. The trains coming and going during daylight hours adds to the pleasure. If they were to redecorate or remodel, I probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much. I love it the way it is, and have been coming here ever since I moved to OC 14 years ago.
A warm and welcoming spot with charming service that spoils both guests and their furry friends, creating a memorable dining experience.

The owner, cook, and server/bartender are incredibly kind!!! The food is delicious! The cook was able to provide gluten-free accommodations. They have the best bacon! Our service dog was welcome on the patio and very spoiled by the kindness of everyone here! The cook made her a special plate of food. Eating brunch here today was one of the best experiences! Thank you very much for everything! I will remember and cherish this, always! ❤️
Love this Mexican restaurant! Food here tonight was absolutely delicious. I had the vegetarian relleno which is served open face with lots of sautéed veggies This is great for gluten-free eaters since it doesn’t contain the batter. Refried beans are absolutely my favorite here—smooth and creamy and delicious! Try the skinny margaritas....the cucumber margarita was light, refreshing and delicious! The atmosphere is great as well. Stainglass windows and artifacts of the church that used to be once upon a time still evident. Don’t miss out on this gem!
