My son has allergies to wheat, dairy, egg, and nuts, so finding a place to go out is a challenge. We tried First Round after reading about their gluten free and vegan options online. The waiter listened to our concerns and had no problems asking the kitchen if he didn't know an answer to our question. We ordered the street tacos, and when they came to the table, we realized they were made with street corn (containing cheese) and not roasted corn like we thought. They immediately boxed up those tacos (and sent them home with us at no charge) and remade the tacos for my son with no dairy. He thought they were great! I had a chicken sandwich where the chicken was crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. We will definitely be repeat customers, as there is so much more on the menu we want to try.

WheatFields has long been a family favorite and a perfect place to celebrate Mother's Day. While the restaurant is only open until 2 p.m., the deli is often open until 3 p.m., but not always. I never thought you could get good French onion soup to go, but they mastered it! We also got a tuna croissant sandwich and a gluten-free quiche. Both were delicious! The service was perfect as well. My wife and I had an amazing experience at The Cheesecake Factory, thanks in large part to our wonderful waitress, Pat. We were seated right away, and Pat brought our drinks almost instantly. Her attentive and friendly service made our evening unforgettable—thank you, Pat!
The gluten-free options and the SkinnyLicious menu made it easy for both of us to find delicious meals that fit our dietary needs. We were impressed that there were gluten-free options on every page of the menu, even for dessert! We enjoyed the garden salads, spicy shrimp pasta (gluten-free), and the four cheese pasta. The portions were huge, and while my only small complaint was the shrimp portion (around 60 grams), my wife loved her four cheese pasta so much, she polished off the entire dish and salad (she’s 122 lbs!).
We couldn’t leave without taking home 5 different cheesecakes to enjoy later. Overall, this was a five-star experience, largely thanks to Pat’s exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

Spezia has always been one of our favorites. However, if I had to provide a rating based on our last two visits I would have given 1-2 stars. The food is very good and they have many gluten free options. Typically the service has been very good except for the last two times where we had the same waiter. Although he was a very pleasant boy, the first time I told him the meal had to be gluten free, yet he brought me regular pasta. This is a serious mistake for someone that has celiac disease. The second visit I reminded him to bring GF pasta, but he didn't bring our salad until after our meal. Both times he never checked on us until well after our meal was delivered and both times refills were slow even though they were not busy. Because we have always had good service in the past I'm only downgrading one star for now, but management needs to provide a refresher to their serve staff, especially when it comes to gluten.

Celiac disease people beware, it was absolutely delicious but they gaslight you on the phone when you let them know that they gave you gluten and made you sick so that they don't get sued I guess. Terrible restaurant. We ate at a similar place in KC many years ago and loved the big salad bar, so we were excited to try the salad bar here. The website makes it sound like its got lots of gluten free options, but the reality of the experience was much different. Food looked like it had been out forever, nothing tasted fresh, most of it was flavorless or terrible tasting. The salad bar itself was small with minimal selections. We instantly regretted our decision to eat here. Barely anyone else in the restaurant and even while we didn't get the meat, the meat looked overcooked and you hardly saw them bringing anything out. Highly recommend to avoid.

Andrew served us! Andrew is very polite, and gave us some good recommendations upon inquiry. We ended up choosing two items that were mentioned. I had the Scallop and Pork Belly Carbonara. It was a good portion size with delightfully buttery scallops and deliciously tender pork belly. I loved the creamy egg yolk sauce! The lemons garnishing the plate added a nice zest.
I also got to try the Honey Soy Glazed Chicken. We don't have any gluten intolerance, but that dish happens to be gluten free and I can vouch for it being a great choice! I particularly enjoy how this dish is out together visually. It's beautiful, and I love the glaze on the chicken.
We finished our meal by sharing a slice of Chocolate Dobos Torte, and I don't remember if we were told what sauce was glazed onto the cake but it was a pleasant way to finish our evening.
As we ate, I looked over to the bar area, and the staff were smiling and laughing together during a brief moment. While this was only a glimpse, I sincerely hope the staff enjoy working here as much as it seemed they do.
I always make sure to leave a good tip, but I hope you're all getting paid well because it seems like you're doing fantastic. Be proud of your work!
